Darin was amazing! From start to finish, he was very professional and personable. It was easy to see that he truly loves his job and cares about his clients. I could not have purchased my very first BMW with a better Advisor!

Great service advisors and technicians. They gave the car a thorough inspection, replaced and repaired items needing attention, and explained everything to me. I would highly recommend BMW of Ann Arbor to family and friends.

Excellent service and repair work on my 750 BMW. Dusty and the entire team were both friendly and competent. They delivered my vehicle on schedule and at a very reasonable expense. I highly recommend Ann Arbor BMW service department. They are an award winning team of professionals!

Dusty did an amazing job as always! Not only was he able to adjust the schedule to get all the necessary work done on my car but also found me a loaner. Professional, courteous, and honest! Night and day difference from our experiences at other (non-BMW) dealerships.

Indeed, the Service atmosphere at BMW ANN ARBOR was very welcoming. And dealing of staff was very professional. They were updating me through sms & videos while I was in the waiting area. A great experience with trusted client satisfaction. Handling of Service Staff (Dusty) is commendable. Keep it up .

I was leaving for a ski trip up north and my tire light came on the dashboard. Neil got me in right away as it was the end of the day. He checked the pressures, added air and said to call if it came back on. Driving home it came on and the brake fluid indicator also stating low. I called Neil and they got me in the next day at 7:30am. They fixed it, added the maintenance that was about due and still under warranty! I love this BMW dealership and the service team! From the moment I enter, I m greeted with a warm welcome, offered coffee and a place to do my work. When my car was finished, I was in the middle of a conference call and they were more than courteous to allow me to stay as long as I needed. Nancy Eavy

Alex Upshur is a very professional and knowledgeable salesperson at BMW Ann Arbor. He and John Moyer were very pleasant to work with and ultra patient with me while I worked through all the details and a very hectic personal/work schedule. I m very happy with my car and experience and look forward to work with these great guys again soon in the future. Would gladly recommend! Also can t forget Ray Borg in Finance and Billy the BMW genius. Together it was a great experience.

2018 X2 Service - Dustin was awesome! We personally appreciate the down to earth humble disposition and informative approach. There were several service items that needed to get taken of (oil, brake fluid, spark plugs, injector flush (forgot name)) and he explained the details I wanted to better understand and what items can be optional. The total time was around 3hrs, a bit longer than estimated but the dealer service area (with coffee, water, limited snacks) was busy and my book kept me occupied.I enjoyed our side chat about BMW wagons that we've both had and go manual trans or bust mentality:-)I don't talk costs since it's your car and it needs to be maintained on schedule and the dealer is usually best equipped to deal with regular items as well as anomalies that can occur.I recommend BMW of Ann Arbor for sales and services. For Services, Dustin as your Service Manager or whatever they are called these days Customer Experience manager, advisor etc :-)Regards,Bruce

New car with issue found at delivery. Salesman drove a loaner out. They fixed the issue that day and provided a nice video describing what was wrong and what was done to correct it (bent pin). Car came back clean and with a full tank of gas. Great customer service offsets something that should have been found at the factory.

I thought Shawn Butler did a very good job in accepting me when I pulled in without and appt due to a flat tire. He was extremely detailed and responsive. The text feature for communication was also terrific experience as we worked through the many issues. Thank you

Our nearly new X1 developed a battery problem (persistent low battery alert) within six months of purchase. The diagnostics were unclear on the underlying cause (other than replacement was necessary) and implied warranty coverage was a toss-up. The service coordinator at BMW Ann Arbor, Shawn Durham, advocated strongly on my behalf, and I'm delighted (and relieved) to share that as a result of his efforts the battery replacement and labor costs were fully covered by the warranty. Took my car in for an alignment that needed adjustment from a previous shop in Plymouth that completely messed up my car and bmw Ann Arbor came through BIG time , great price showed me what they did wrong ( left a important alignment bolt completely lose ) I d recommend and I will not ever take my bmw anywhere else!

It's unfortunate that I have to change my review of 5 stars from 2 years ago, to 1 star today. The quality and attention to the customer from the SERVICE department has decreased dramatically! I agree with other reviewers here the frustration of NEVER getting a call back, but having to call back multiple days at multiple times to get a hold of somebody. On top of that, I ordered and prepaid a $705 part in June and I had to call back each month to follow up on it, until I finally gave up in December and asked for a refund. It's been 2 months and I haven't seen those $705! You talk to them in person and they just give you the runaround. Do I have to go to small claim courts for a refund?! It's ridiculous! You're just a number and a dollar sign at this place! No respect!

I've had my 2018 5 Series in three different times over the past 6 months:First time was for interior lighting and the front grille cover. I asked my service advisor to contact my third party warranty to see if the lighting was covered. He told me it was not, but I later learned there was no claim filed with the warranty (I brought this up and he said he would give them a call, but failed to follow up again). Quoted $500 for the grille cover so I decided to take a look myself and just needed to reattach two clips. Not the end of the world, I understand businesses need to make money.Second time was for a thermostat replacement. Was told the coolant lines might need replacing, but I hadn't had any issues and said I would keep an eye on them. A week later a low coolant message pops up for the first time due to major leaks. I can chalk that up to bad timing.Third time I asked for a quote on the coolant lines and was handed a parts list. The quote included the thermostat that was just replaced under warranty. Little frustrated with the oversight so I brought it to an independent shop who quoted half the price. While they were working on the car, they noted the PVC hose was cracked and glued back together. This would have been removed for the thermostat work and BMW never mentioned anything about it (therefore my assumption is they were the ones who broke it). $500 part.On top of all this, I had asked they not wash my car as it was just paint corrected and ceramic coated ($2,200 job). Both times they serviced the vehicle, it was washed, effectively ruining all that work. I even brought it back to the shop that did the ceramic coating for verification.I've tried to give BMW of Ann Arbor chances to discuss what happened including two voicemails and two trips into the dealership. These were spread out over the last 30 days. The service manager has not returned my calls and was not available either time I went in. I have done my best to be understanding, but can't recommend this dealer in its current state. I've had five different BMWs and good experiences with all of them in the past, but this will be my last.*UPDATE:I called the service manager per his reply on the day I wrote this review. No answer, so I once again left a voicemail. Tried calling again a week later. Then sent an email with no response after two weeks. Still no resolution.

Edit 2 I went back in early 2022 and was treated exceptionally well. I m so happy they really went out of their way to help me. Im really glad they read my original review and improved customer service. Thank you for listening about autism, the invisible disability lanyard, and really making a difference. Incredible! 5 stars for sure.Original As an autistic adult, I try and help (as best I know how) those who are non verbal or have other disabilities leading them to possibly suffer worse from problems like my experience. After reading the owners reply, I not only was made to feel so much better that there ARE people who are understanding, but my feelings were validated. Thank you to the owner and I hope more people understand the disability lanyard to help those I'm trying to help. This was the BEST response I have ever received from a business owner I did a review on. Because of the understanding now on both mine and the owners parts, I have changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars. I will return again soon randomly in hopes that my experience will be as great as I feel it will be after reading the response. Thank you to those who understand!Edit 1 -----How I felt at the time review (Had to get a part for my BMW, so I thought I would take photos too. I am autistic and I like photographing cars. I always ask beforehand, but the man I asked was rude and looked mad. After talking for 6 minutes he said "I don't care" and I took a few. Did not buy the part and will never go back. Confrontation like that is difficult and I had my invisible disabilities lanyard on.

My experience with this dealer had been very disappointed till date. It seems they are not bothered about customer. It took me weeks to cancel my Tire Protection package and still yet to get my refund after a month. Finance guy is least bothered to return to my emails or call. Don t know if there is anyone there who could help.

The service department does not communicate. The service manager doesn't call you back either. It is difficult to set an appointment because they don't answer their phones or return your calls. When you do get an appointment they don't update you on the status. I dropped it off at 8:30AM, they said is should be ready in the early afternoon. At 5:30, I get a call and video text message that it's ready. You could tell they put little to no effort into the service. I go to pick up the car and it doesn't start. I don't believe they inspected the vehicle, just literally changed the oil and that it. Now my car has a burning plastic smell when I drive. I just want my car to be well maintained. I am okay paying a premium, but I want to be able to trust that they are doing good work. I never had any problems with BMW of Farmington Hills. I left a 2/5 because they did change the oil and brake fluid... They did the bare minimum.Update: Lowered to 1/5. I tried calling the service manager twice before writing the review and once afterwards. They never called me back. I contacted BMW NA, they referred me to the non-responsive dealer. No one at the dealer responds except to schedule an appointment. Their social media person is more responsive than their service manager and advisors. I scheduled another service appointment anyway, because I didn't want to drive around in a car that smelled like burning oil, then the car wouldn't start at all a few weeks later. I brought it to a local independent shop. They diagnosed the problem and fixed the issues right away. Apparently the issues my car had were quite common, yet BMW's inspection failed to identify them. I would happy have paid BMW of AA whatever they quoted me, but I couldn't get that far. I've had my car serviced there since 2019...

My id7 does not support remote software upgrade. So I can't do the upgrade myself. I had to go to BMW DEALER SERVICES for a paid wired upgrade. And I know that depending on the version, the programming of the gearbox has been changed, including gear shifting frustration, power and throttle response. So I went to BMW of ANN ARBOR and paid for them to upgrade to the latest version for me. My previous version was 03/22 since imprint in BMW GUIDE, and the latest version I know is 11/23. They upgraded me to 03/23, I checked by myself after visiting. but 03/23 is not the software version I want. Throttle response is weak on this version. Now my appeal is to ask them to help me update to 11/23, and I know it applies to my car because I have paid for it. That's all.

My verdict is conflicted, my experience with a purchase was favorable, but afterwards some red flags have come up. SERVICE is Very difficult to make contact with, some business practices that I have to question. A word of advice, buy gap insurance from your lender, not at BMW, and save yourself hundreds of dollars. If you are buying used, I would recommend that you shop elsewhere, they don't stand behind their product so might as well buy from another shady dealer and save a few bucks

Bought a one-year-old M240ix there and can't stop raving about the sales experience to everyone I know. Mo Beidoun is, hands down, the best car sales guy I've ever had - and we've bought a LOT of cars. No pressure, frank and friendly conversation, swift communication via email/text/call, tons of help before/during/after the sale, and a fair price. My husband says next time maybe he'll buy a BMW, based solely on how easy this experience was. Thanks Mo!

Dropped off my car on 11.15.2022 for 8:30am appointment. At 4pm received a call saying techs are leaving early today and if i wanna come pick up my car and reschedule I was not able to find a ride at that time so my car stayed there till next day. 11.16.2022. I get a message at 1pm my car is ready and i got invoice with additional $50 charge. The day before i singed papers with the totals and that was not on it. When i got to the BMW of Ann Arbor they told me $50 its for shop supplies like carwash. Attached pictures of how i got my car. The most disgusting thing was a used shoe covers on my Front seat top of my belongings.Customer service of BMW Ann Arbor is super bad. When you ask them to speak with the manager they ignore you and tell you he will call you back witch never happened. When i tried to explain how disappointed i was at the location my service advisor was standing with his hand in the pocket leaning agains the glass window and keep blaming me that its my fault !?I really never experienced anything like this. I felt sick after .
