Not sure if I had a good experience or not. Truck had several issues, which were addressed for the most part, but the cost was exorbitant. My fuel gauge no longer works after the fuel tank was dropped. Not really positive what exactly was wrong with the truck besides bad fuel. I ended up purchasing a fuse box, fuel pump, battery, filters. First time picking up truck and it didn't start. When it did run, it was extremely rough. I appreciate being taken quickly for service, but I'm not so sure what exactly happened, besides spending 3.5k.

My wife and I have had our cars serviced there for over thirty years. They have always been fair and honest, and they have always told us when a repair is not needed or not worth the money.

****Edit*** After speaking with Tracy, she was supposed to amend the response to my review. As far as your 1 star comment. Yep, when deserved and 5 stars when deserved as well as you can see by the rating being given to Washtenaw Car Car for example. I explained what happened, and she admitted that, yes, my phone call should not have been handled that way. I will give you an extra star for taking the call. Still not gonna recommend or use. Thank you. ******** Couldn't even get a decent person on the phone. Wanted to use this place bc it was close to work, but I will find another. Try being a little more polite next time.

I have used this business for several years with several different cars. I took my car in for a simple oil change. I was told I needed a brake job even though I had yet to hear any brake noises. I was quoted $500 over the phone for the brake job . At the end I was charged for $940 for oil change and brake job. From the quote I was given over the phone I expected $600 at most. I m just presenting facts here but I can t help but to feel lied to. We've been using Auto Tech Center for EVERYTHING on EVERY vehicle for 5+ years. Todd and Marco feel like family these days, the only mechanic shop I've ever trusted. They're straight forward, honest, easy to work with. Great local auto shop, always easy to work with and no complaints on the work they do. I'm always surprised at how expensive repairs are, but I doubt they are more expensive than anywhere else. Marco is no BS, and takes good care of our family. I can count on him for reasonably priced repairs. And I've never felt disrespected as a single woman in his shop. And they have a cute shop kitty.

I asked for a run down of critical repair items, and a list of longer term maintenance concerns. Todd took the time to explain what needed immediate attention, and gave me an idea of what to expect over the longer term. I went with his suggestions on the critical repair items, and my car is running great. Turn around was fast (especially considering the amount of work we had done), and the cost was very reasonable.I highly recommend based on the quality of work, the customer service I received, and feeling like I walked away understanding what my car needs in order to keep running well. I will be back for those maintenance items!Thanks Auto Tech Center!

The service at Auto Tech is excellent. The owner, Todd, is a really nice guy, too. I've never had him try to sell me things I don't need, and he gives good advice about what service is truly necessary and what jobs can wait. The one time they made a mistake servicing my car, Todd took full responsibility and went above and beyond to correct what had gone wrong.

We have taken several of our vehicles to AutoTech over the years. They take the time to listen to my questions about my car and they always explain the problems they could find when they look at it. I have found their rates to be competitive with other shops and often times less. Plus I have learned to trust these guys and the work they do. It is a huge relief knowing you can trust the people that are working on your family car. As an added bonus they always offer me a free loaner car, which is very helpful, knowing I will have reliable transportation while they work on my car. They replaced my entire exhaust system including oxygen sensors an Catalyst. They beat out my dealerships bid by $1,500.00. I couldn t be happier. It was fixed in two days! The first day was ordering and receiving the parts for the project.Frank L. Ann ArborService: General repairs & maintenance

I've been a customer of Auto Tech for years and they ALWAYS do excellent work. They're always incredibly personable and go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. They care and think ahead about what you need, including transportation if you're in a bind. Many places just replace things since it's easier, less labor-intensive and more profitable, but Auto Tech repairs whenever they can. They're very conscious about keeping bills low and quality high. As a woman, I SO appreciate knowing I can trust them to advocate for me even though I don't' know engines. BRAVO!!! Thank you Todd and staff (I'm SO bad at names but feel bad because they deserve recognition too), for your customer service values, and for hiring great people who all really know their business. You all treat us like family.Wow. I finished my review, posted it, then read the others. I was shocked at the woman's bad review from 2 yrs ago because my experience has always been so completely opposite, especially as a woman. I notice other women are echoing my sentiments. I have to believe someone just had a bad day. Since the reviewer doesn't like to have to deal with her car, maybe that colors her opinion. Maybe whoever she dealt with had a bad day. I don't know. I DO know this - 99% of business disputes start with poor communication, and Auto Tech excels at communication - that is also repeated throughout these reviews. Go with Auto Tech - you absolutely can trust their expertise, their pricing, their customer service, their concern and values and professionalism. Also, the place looks great compared to many independently owned auto shops. Extremely clean in the front and way more clean than many others, in the work areas.

I needed a muffler repair and found Auto Tech on the internet. I was given the option of an entire muffler system replacement or replacing part of the system which was half the cost. They were able to obtain the parts needed that morning and the car was ready in a couple of hours. I left with a new muffler and a much quieter car. Thank you for such great service.

I found Marco to be very straightforward, a good listener, easily able to tell me what kinds of things I could put off fixing, and what I shouldn't. He answered every question I had, with as much detail as I wanted. I was apprised of the car's progress as it went along. Tie rod, exhaust system replaced, oil change, free maintenance check for winter. As a female, i don't often like going to a service center because I'm afraid to be ripped off, however, I felt very good with my service and felt I got a fair deal. The place may not be the nicest looking but it's a repair place, not a the Ritz. It's family owned, a small business so I feel good about supporting these types of places as well. I would definitely go back.

I've gotten the best common sense advice and work from these gentlemen. Some referrals not on their site are based on more extensive repairs that two friends had done there. They were very happy with the pricing and quality of the work.

Auto Tech has been servicing our cars for over 8 years. Car repairs aren't always a positive thing, but we appreciate that they communicate in a manner we understand. They also want to know their customers, they care!

I broke down coming through town on a long trip. On very short notice These guys got me in and took great care of me and my pup on our travels. Fair and honest. Would highly recommend.

This is a repair shop I trust explicitly. They fixed some things and did not charge them. On another visit they recommended someone else to do the job as they were not equipped to do it. They have always met their estimate, sometimes coming in lower. They stand behind their work and the owner Todd is very professional and trustworthy.
