Very knowledgeable, I explained what happened to the motor and did the proper repair without taking advantage. He could have easily charged me hundreds more and didn't. The utmost integrity I have ever seen. That is something that is far and few in between in that type of repair business

I've used this place for 2 engine services so far. I have had decking of block and head, valve seals, springs, cylinder bore and hone, crack checking, inspection, and cleaning. I am extremely impressed with everyone there, but most with Garrett. He contacted me multiple times during work to verify what parts I needed for the new dimensions and had the work done very quick. Everything was coated and bagged to be picked up both times. Prices are extremely fair for the quality of work done and is agreed upon up front and any changes are agreed via phone call. I will continue to use this machine shop in the future.

Gave me advice, even though the advice didn't make them any money they told me that they would do the work but it would probably result in failure unless I just replaced the part

Rebuilt a classic Citroen H van engine without a hitch. Always professional as well as patient while I researched the engine specs required for the rebuild. Engine runs perfectly.

I ve had these guys do multiple things on my small block v8. They are by far the best priced and fastest machine shop I have ever been to. I mentioned them making a bolt to darryl, he said they couldn t make one but he instead found me one. I couldn t even get this thing from arp. Great work guys will definitely be using you for any future projects.

A little pricey, but they helped me out in a pinch and were able to turn work around quick when I needed it. Garret was very knowledgeable and great to work with. I'll definitely be coming back here next time I need machine work done.

Darrell is very profesional. His entire staff has been helpful. I inquired of several configurations. Darrel researched what would be best for my build. I used his serviced when I was with Mercedes of Ann Arbor. Over the years his quality has never wavered. Thank you Darrell for all you do. Im blessed to have a shop like yours in the Ann Arbor area.

I had a head and block at this shop and the guys there were nothing but completely knowledgeable and able to help me out. They answered any questions I had and I didn't feel any pressure to be up sold. A very friendly customer/machinist experience.It did take a little longer than I expected to get my work done, but they offered to rush my order if I needed.On top of all of that they sell parts I'm going to need for my rebuild.I will definitely use this shop again and highly recommend them.

Absolutely the best Machine Shop in Metro Detroit Maybe even the entire state. Ryan and Darryl are top notch and the work was on time and on budget. They even helped me to find rare and obsolete parts for my project. Top notch is an understatement for these guys.

Good work, took longer than expected because they couldn't get some parts toredo the cylinder head. I had to find parts, then the bill was more than I expected. If I get parts and drive them to a business, I would expect a little cheaper price.

I needed chevy heads milled flat. I was very pleased with the work done here. Great price and quick turnaround. Excellent work.

Had a miata engine block, cylinder head, pistons and crank serviced. Everything came out looking amazing. Engine went back together great and the engine is running like brand new. Can't wait to get it fully broken in and run it at the track! Thanks guys!

Was referred to this shop by an auto shop that couldn't do what I needed done. These guys did it quick, did right, and the price was great. Highly recommended.

Really? After all these years in business. Auto parts can't buy a head milling machine and still run it on a industrial bench belt sander. Pathetic. I'm not a machinest. I don't understand how you can machine heads flat on a table belt sander. Repeat business most be their priority.

Multiple leaks, asked about a warranty, DARYL told me he likes to sleep at night and if anything goes wrong he would come out and fix itI would not reccomend bringing your motor to this guyMy motor leaks so much oil, i cant sleep at night.Service: Motor buildingService: Motor building

Fast service, reasonable prices. Very few shops like this left around, I recommend them to anyone looking for machine work!!!
