These guys aren t close to me but the quality of work is something no one comes close to. PPF was installed perfectly and can t even tell it s there until they pointed it out. The tint is perfect! Lastly, the detail and ceramic coat Drew from Showroom finish put on is out of this world. Brought them a car with 200 miles on it which should have perfect paint. My car looks 10x better than it was from the factory.

Have gone there for everything on my vehicle, window tint, wrapping/chrome delete, and new badges. They do fantastic work, offer great customer service and quick replies and responses. Highly recommend. 10/10

I have had multiple vehicles tinted, PPF'd, paint corrected, ceramic coated you name it. Have send friends, family and customers to them. They do great work, stand behind their products and are always on time. Make sure you give them a shot if you are thinking about doing any work to your vehicle!

No need to think twice about where to take your vehicle for window tint, vinyl or most of your auto accessorizing needs. Eric and the team at A2 are the best in the business. For over 10 years I ve been dealing with A2 and the experience is never anything short of outstanding. Eric goes above and beyond to be sure you are completely satisfied and accommodated. Not to mention the beautiful facility & waiting area. Being a long time customer of A2, I remember when I was recommended to go see Eric not long after he had started up. What seemed like a hole in the wall then has now flourished into a thriving business. Their workmanship, & attention to detail is unmatched. Though, customer service & doing everything they can to ensure the customer is taken care of speaks volumes. A2 Customs has a forever customer in me. Take my word you won t be disappointed. I bought my 2023 Tesla Y long range in the beginning of December, so I immediately took it to A2 customs in Ann Arbor, Michigan to get paint protection on the front end of my car. (The part that gets the worst beating from the roads).Eric Carpenter the proprietor was excellent. He guided me as to which product I should use. I had another one in mind but he convinced me to use Hexis brand which he told me had a lifetime guarantee they didn t spend a ton of money on marketing and was an equally good or better product than the one I thought I wanted. The building and place of business was super nice and clean. Everything was clearly explained, they do a lot of Tesla s there which made me feel confident with them. It is winter here in Michigan so he recommended me leave the car overnight so they can put it under the lights to make sure it took really well. When I picked up my car, it looked great. I couldn t even see where it was put on which is a great sign (from everything I read a good job is a job that you can t see ), I would definitely recommend A2 Customs to anyone who wants to protect their vehicle. Eric will give you what you want and need ,he does not try to upsell you and he s very honest when you ask him questions, his price was great, and I love the lifetime guarantee. I want to thank the men and women at A2 Customs they did an amazing job wrapping the front and rear bumpers. I had chrome bumpers that I absolutely hated so I reached out to Eric and crew at A2 Customs after another company told me that you cannot wrap chrome...after doing my research and speaking with A2 I made the decision to move forward with wrapping my bumpers and couldn't be happier. They were fast and the quality of work that came out of that shop is simply amazing and cannot be compared to anyone else. If you are looking for a good shop I recommend calling A2 Customs and seeing if they do the work you are wanting done. 5 stars isn't enough for this shop.

I don't usually write negative reviews, in fact this is the first one I've ever written.Long story short, I paid $690 for a full ceramic tint with sunstrip and $450 for a roof and mirror cap wrap. I know what you're probably thinking - that's expensive! Yeah, I thought so too, but my thought process is "pay a lot once for a quality job, and never have to worry about it again". Unfortunately, the job done at A2Customs was not quality.After the first visit at A2Customs, I had a problem with the sunstrip, which was handcut because my car was a new model (it's a 2024 Integra, but they were released in 2023) and the computer which normally prints the cutouts for the tints is waiting for an update. The sunstrip was basically a rainbow instead of straight, and was not flush with the rearview mirror frits as I had requested. I was told this would be redone. One of the windows had two bubbles, I was also told they would take a look at it/redo. There was also a ton of creases and lumps on the roof wrap, and a few creases on the mirror caps, which were also going to be redone. Additionally, the roof wrap was cut a bit too short near the windshield weather strip, so some of the factory paint was still seen, but this would be redone as well. After the first visit I sent a detailed email outlining all the issues with pictures of what needed to be done during the second visit.After the second visit at A2Customs, the one thing I can say was redone well were the creases in the mirror caps. The window still had both bubbles, but I was informed that one of them is water and it'll go away, but they didn't see the other one until I pointed it out once I was picking up the car (it was in the detailed email I had sent before the second visit). I was told that this will be redone on a third visit. The roof wrap was basically the same and I was told that the lumps and creases are normal. Now I know nothing about wraps, but I've never seen a wrap on another car that looked like that. Also, the fix for the roof wrap where it was cut short was just adding a small piece of vinyl and covering up the paint, which is quite noticeable. I didn't notice at the shop since I believed them when they said it's not noticeable and didn't even look closely, but that was my mistake. Then I was told that the sunstrip was not redone since they still need a computer update, so I'm looking at a week - 6 month wait for whenever the update is available. However, at the first visit they were very quick to take my money even though their computer was unable to print the sunstrip for my car.So this means in total, I have to pay $1140 and visit the shop 4 times (1st + 2nd + window bubble + sunstrip) for a complete quality job. I would have given them 1 star, but Eric offered to install paint protection film on the door handle sills for free after the second visit. It's a very nice gesture, but I would much rather have gotten a quality job than free PPF on the door handle sills.All in all, if I had known this was going to be the quality of work for the hefty price, I definitely would have kept my money in my pocket or have gone elsewhere.

I had first heard about this place from a Michigan alum buddy who runs a brokerage firm in Michigan and has had work done on both of his Mercedes vehicles.While I do believe that they do decent work here, after calling here more than once to inquire on potential Vinyl Wrap and tint for my daily driver ('21 G Wagon) I received the same price quote from a 'Meghan' and also a gentleman (not the owner)- which is good (consistency in pricing is ALWAYS a good thing to confirm!).Upon calling one final time on the weekend (earlier this year) to schedule the actual work, the owner himself provided me with a quote (for the same exact amount of work!) which was about $600 higher than the quotes from either of two other employees. The discrepancy was not large amount of all and I'll gladly pay generously for good, professional auto accessorizing, but if there's one thing that's a major red flag for me, it's blatant price gouging/inconsistency. After having shared this information with my broker friend in MI, he referred me to another place in Novi that he now goes to for wraps, PPF, tint etc. as the PPF that he had installed at A2 Customs started to become loose around the various areas along fenders of both of his cars.In summary, A2 probably does decent work, but they should refine their pricing model (and maybe hire someone to answer the phone in the afternoon- called there one final time this past Fall after 4pm and somebody kept answering the phone on first/second ring and then slamming it down hard!...maybe invest in an answering machine?...smh

One of the rare gems in automotive. These people do fantastic work. I had rear tint installed on two vehicles and the work is top notch. Great communication leading up to the appointment, and available for fast responses questions later. Keep it up, guys!

Best in the business! A2 customs is more expensive that their competitors, but you do NOT want to go cheap on window tint install. Highly recommend plus first responder friendly. Struggled a bit initially with the A2 price but am willing pay more for excellent work. I didn t want to gamble with inferior product and installation elsewhere even at half price. A2 did not disappoint. Premium 3M film with flawless install. I ve had numerous cars with tinted windows and there has always been random bubbles or trapped dust but A2 had none. Install did not require the entire time allotted for the appointment. Shop is unassuming from the outside but is very professional and well equipped with specialized lighting for film installation. Appointments are scheduled well in advance so be aware of the lead time although is probably seasonal. Nice text service for appointment reminders and confirmation. Tint looks awesome so very satisfied. Go here for professional tint or wrap. Well worth the investment for excellent quality work.Service: Vehicle window tinting

I had a really great experience. They were able to tint my windshield, along with my side and rear windows, in one appointment, although originally I had only scheduled for my side and rear windows. They had great customer service as well, the woman at the front desk (can't remember her name), was SO kind and helpful. Absolutely amazing service. Eric did a great job of installing paint protection film on my car. He was very patient and walked me through the process and steps. Everyone here was very professional and welcoming. I initially wanted to the the paint protection for just the hood and front bumper. With the pricing, I went ahead and did the full front. 10/10 will be back here, if I ever needed a paint protection/window tinting/ vinyl wraps done.Service: Paint protection

Eric's customer service is absolutely wonderful. Very easy-going and all-around nice guy. I came here to get white vinyl stripes put on my Mustang. The employees were great and seemed to do a good job until my Dad noticed a few days later that my stripes were slightly crooked in the back. I ended up emailing Eric about it and a few other things I noticed and he was very quick and genuine in his response back to me. He guaranteed that he will replace whatever is needed and wanted to get me back in for an appointment as soon as possible to take care of it. I was able to come back a few days later and the stripes turned out great. I was also interested in coming back to get a pin stripe on the sides of the stripes when I first visited so I asked to get it done this time and Eric did it for free. Really great guys and service here. Would definitely recommend!

I initally went to A2 customs to have my front windows tinted. My vehicle was completed quickly and the quality of work was top of the line. I liked my experience so much, I came back and had them smoke my taillights. Another flawless job. The waiting room is very comfortable. No plastic chairs and mid day talk shows here. If you're looking to find a trustworthy, fairly priced and talented shop, stop looking, you've found them.Service: Vehicle window tinting

I called to get a price to tint my two front windows to match the factory rears and ended up making an appointment. Upon arriving for the appointment the owner happened to be outside and gave me a price the was 10$ lower than I was quoted on the phone for a lesser tint with a three year warranty or a price 15$ higher for a tint with a lifetime warranty which I went with. I asked about how long it would take since after a long day at work I wanted to get home and was told 30-40 minutes. From start to finish I don't think the truck was in their shop for more than 25 minutes. I watched the entire process and will say that the installer was on his game. Not only was he fast but was also thorough. He made sure the doors were just as clean when he was done as before he started and the tint looks amazing! The whole time I was busy asking questions and even though the guys were working on other stuff they had no problem answering all of my questions. There were only three guys there including the owner and I found all three to be polite and professional. They made sure I knew exactly what to do after care wise and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I'm thinking of going back at some point to have my headlights and tail lights done.

Truly the best tint shop I have ever been to! I was in and out in an hour and 10 minutes (full tint on a 2021 Durango.) Out of the last six vehicles I've had tinted, nothing comes close to the work performed by the guys at A2 Customs. The waiting room/lounge was an awesome added bonus for those of us who drive far or don't have rides. I'm very happy I found them. Excellent Job! I had all my windows tinted on short notice and the job was top notch and fair priced. All windows and sun wrap in about 2 hours and promised. The staff is very friendly and personable. Easy to work with and not pushy. The owner Eric took the time to explain my options and work around my schedule. Don't look around, just call A2 customs and you will not be disappointed!!!

I came to this shop 4 years ago when another shop had significant trouble getting the tint on my LEXUS RC350 to adhere. The difference in installation quality between professionals such as a2 customs and others is just might and day. Such tight attention to detail, extremely kind people who are happy to share their knowledge and be helpful even when a sale isn t guaranteed. I will be bringing all of my cars here from now on. Wow. I had a remote starter installed here and they were able to get me in quickly. They gave me a good explanation of the different options available. My only complaint is that the price was not quoted correctly, and I ended up paying $80 more than expected, but I am still giving 5 stars b/c the service was fantastic. They went out of their way to make it easy for me, even dropping the car off for me at the salon down the street so I didn't have to bike back to the shop and pick the car up. I would definitely go to A2 Customs again, highly recommend.

Highly recommended this place. Price is really reasonable, fast, quality is fantastic. I wasn't happy for first applied tint because of slight misalignment however technitian Ted helped me out to fix them. Appreciated for great job. I would come back for other cars when needed.

Eric and his team are awesome. They have tinted both my Mercedes. Very professional and courteous. A2 Customs stays true to their reputation of quality and honesty. Provided all the necessary information and did not try and sell me on things that I was not interested in. I would recommend anyone interested in tinting to check them out. Eric worked around my busy work schedule and was always pleasant. I will get all my cars tinted only through A2 Customs.
