Did a bad paint job for my car hood then vandalized my car in retaliation when I took it back to him to get it wet sanded. They later lied to my insurance company saying that the car was already vandalized when I brought it in. Lucky that I showed my car to another body shop for an estimate before coming to him and they kept photo records of it. I could finally get my insurance company to cover it.Response to business----What are you trying to say? That Gerber Collision (a national chain of car body shops) engages in fraud? That I would deliberately vandalize my already factory painted car ? They submitted photographs to my insurance company before the insurance company approved my claim which was initially denied after the insurance company reached out to you about my complaint. Those photographs were taken at your parking lot with clear landmarks such as the gas station, the food truck, and other nearby businesses. These photos have timestamps and location stamps in their meta data. Even if an unknown person did it, vandalism is still covered by insurance. Why do you think that I would take the effort to put this review if I have nothing to gain from it? What dents did you repair? My car was inspected by both Gerber Collision and Ross beakes. I have quotes from them. Their estimators have talked to the insurance companies about this. This was done with a blade over the paint tape. You did this because I brought the car back to get your painting mistakes fixed. You're lucky that I haven't pressed criminal charges for vandalism against your shop.

Please take some time to read this thorough review if you need advise on this place.I arrived in Ann Arbor a few weeks ago from my native country, and one of the very first things I did was buy a car from a car dealer, thinking I would get a car in good condition. However, not only was the car not in good condition, but the engine light kept coming on first due to a tune-up issue, and later due to a timing chain problem.This place is fantastic! The people are professional, but most importantly, respectful. Majed, the owner, and all the professional mechanics who work there deserve infinite thanks. They received my car every time with open hands and even checked and fixed some things as a favor. I couldn t be more grateful!!! 5/5

We have gone to Majed and his crew many times over the past few years for maintenance and issues with our Subaru. He has always been honest and has had reasonable prices. Would recommend anyone to take their car there to get worked on.

A2 guys are the best, fastest, friendliest, inexpensive one-stop auto shop in the area. I have an old quirky car with odd problems, but A2 always helps & even fixes things (like a loose door latch coming apart) I didn't ask for. Plus, gas is the cheapest in Ann Arbor, same price cash/credit, and air is free.

These guys wear Capes! We broke down on the highway out of state after 5pm. They had our caliper replaced and we were on our way in an hour. They saved our trip and were VERY reasonably priced. These are good hardworking people

The owner was so helpful from the very beginning. After an accident I was unsure if it was safe to drive my car. He told me to bring the car and immediately helped me out. Even when my insurance was being very difficult he called multiple times to get things started. Overall great customer service and great work on fixing the car.

This mechanic is great! I ve brought my car here three times and have found the best prices here. They did my repairs for less than half the price of other places and were super quick. Highly recommend!**Update from December 2023Another great experience with A2 Auto! I unfortunately hit a deer and they had a tow for me in 20 minutes. I was referred to A2 Auto by a trusted friend. I was very pleased by the top notch service I received. The issue was thoroughly explained to me. The price was honest and fair and the work was exceptional. The owner Majed, is a hard working, friendly man dedicated to delivering excellent service to the community. By the way he also does body work. I had a rust spot developing on the door and his employees did an excellent job fixing it...just like new! Oh and did I mention, he drives you home and picks you back up again when your car is finished. Now that's what I call great service.

AJ and his family are amazing. I was in a very tough situation and found this business on Google. I am glad I am. My car needed major work. They were closing and checked my car out for over an hour. They were honest with the scope of work and recommended that I take it else where. They found a car repair that is open tomorrow near by ran by a friend of theirs and helped me get my car there. They even dropped me off near by at a hotel! I tried to pay them and they refused. They have integrity and are very kind people. A plus. If you have any need for your car, these are the people to do it. They have restored my faith in humanity.

I've been coming here for 2 years for all my work and I don't trust anyone more than these guys! They are clear, communicative, and always try to give you the best deal they can. They do whatever they can to squeeze my car in when I'm in need. So thankful for them!

I traveled from Toledo to A2 to see Majid since I feel he is a great mechanic. I highly recommend him for car repairs. He always makes time to fix my car and always has me back on the road the same day. He is very honest and affordable.

Majed did a quick fix for my dented front bumper cover and avoided getting the bumper replaced which would have been a huge price on my insurance. Using his experience on the resolving the issue, I was happy the way my car bumper was fixed and looks brand new. Thanks and would recommend highly going to Majed.

I want to write the best review possible but looking here, I see I have a lot of competition! Let me begin by saying that Majed has a heart of gold and is the kindest businessman I have had the good fortune to meet. I know very little about cars and, to make a long story short, bought a used car that had no business being sold and was not safe to drive. It had problems I had no idea and did not find out about until I brought it to the A2 Auto Center, which I had seen positively mentioned on the Ann Arbor subreddit, on Wednesday evening. Majed looked over the car free of charge and the next morning called me to say that there were issues here and that he would need to inspect the car more carefully. Later that day when I came by, he informed me about his findings; he walked me through each part that was either missing or faulty such as the non-existent battery case, a transmission leak, bad brake line, right headlight not working, tire treads showing, windshield fluid pump missing, and more. It was, to put it lightly, not a good situation. I needed a car because I was starting a new position that required me to drive 80 miles a day and this one, as it was, was not fit for that. Majed saw my dilemma and promised to do the best he could considering the circumstances - and he really, really delivered. Today (Saturday) he showed me all the repairs and replacements he had made to the vehicle so that it is safe and drivable. I wish I knew more about cars because then I could go into technical detail about what he and his team did, but it also involved hunting down another similar make and model and replacing parts from it this went above and beyond anything I could expect. He gave me a significant discount on all the work that had to be done and there was a lot of it! Just from seeing what the car was before and after, I could see how much care and attention had gone into the repairs. I have to say he performed more than one miracle in the span of two days and cannot thank him enough for it. I live close to this garage, but had only filled up gas as they tend to have good prices. I had Majed change out my all-seasons for my snow tires and he charged me an incredibly reasonable price. Fast forward a month, and he's done a brake job for me that was beyond reasonable in price and caught a problem I would not have known about.Great mechanic, small shop, kind service. I first came to A2 Auto because (I think it was) the owner happened to be driving behind my husband and I when our car broke down not too far from their shop. He kindly took a look at our car, diagnosed the problem, jumped our car so we could get home, and told us if we wanted to return the next day, he would fix it for us. Since then, I've used them several times and they do great work, are trustworthy and charge a fair price. They also get you in quicker than any shop I've ever been to around town. I highly recommend A2 Auto.

Great Experience! Got me in the same day for brakes and completed the job within 2-3 hours! Rates are reasonable. Also very informative, showed me exactly what was going on with my vehicle. First time trying this company, but will definitely be going back! On a side note there is no waiting room so be prepared to set up ride arrangements!Services: Tires, Brakes

This is one of the few places where things are explained in a way that I can easily understand. The service is great, responsive, and the prices seem reasonable. This place is great. They worked with me on pricing and found a fix that isn't perfect, but the car runs better than it did before and will hold on for a little bit longer. And to be fair, the part that needed to be fixed (or in my case bypassed and cut off) was so rusted it looked like fried chicken. So I really appreciate their help.

Brought my car in after it started making a squealing sound when turning. Talked to Majed and they were able to fit me in and fix my car that day. The price was very reasonable too. Other shops wanted to charge almost $100 just to look at it. The crew at A2 definitely work hard and take pride in what they do. My mother and I have both been bringing our cars here for repairs for a few years. She has an old Camry and I've got an old Jeep. Thanks to this place our old cars are still running well. A2 Auto is super fast. Usually the work is done in 1 day. They also have good pricing. Recently I was getting a windshield replacement and AJ found a couple other issues with my car that could have been dangerous and expensive problems if they hadn't been repaired. He didn't even charge me for labor on some of the work! (Thank you AJ!) People with good heart make you feel welcomed, make your life easier, happier So glad we discovered A2 Auto Center! They are fast, professional, honest and have great prices. If you're looking for a local family owned place that will not rip you off, look no further. When I called them and complain about my car (I wasn't even sure what was the exact problem) they offered to send a tow truck to help moving the car immediately and inspect it. they took care of the problem, fixed it, inspect if there might any future problems in a few hours and for a price that really made us feel like family. We're definitely coming back with any car maintenance and repair needs. Thank you again, Majed and family! Superb

So glad we discovered A2 Auto Center! They are fast, professional, and have great prices. If you're looking for a local family owned place that will not rip you off, look no further. We called them because our 2006 Audi did not start anymore, they offered to send someone to tow the car immediately, they took care of the repair in a few hours and for a price that really made us feel like family. Majed and his staff truly went above and beyond in everything they did for my car. I had taken it to a dealership who charged me $170 to simply diagnose my car (did not look at it for more than 30 minutes), and wanted over double what it should have costed me for all that needed to be done. I took it to Majed who looked at it free of charge as well as gave me the absolute best price possible. Not only that, my car was done in one day and he fixed two lights and gave me a hubcap free of charge. Majed is outstanding. This was our 2nd time using his shop. They are extremely knowledgeable, very fast, and prices are fair (I would even say inexpensive!). He has excellent hours which is super helpful and is located within walking distance to UM central campus. Quick to respond which was great. Brought in my car that afternoon and was able to get it by the end of the day. They're super fast and better priced than literally any other auto shop in AA. Everyone at this place is wonderful. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. We ve been taking our cars here for many years and have always gotten excellent service, and they get everything done the same day. When I was car shopping, Majed was extremely helpful in inspecting the cars I was considering buying, saving me a huge headache. He told me I was like family and that he would never let me buy a car if I wasn t getting the best deal. A2 Auto Center is AMAZING!!! They made sure I was well taken care of and fixed my car the SAME day (when I brought it in 3 hours before close and had only made an appointment 1.5 hours before coming in). They were kind, thoughtful, patient with answering all my questions, and gave me the best experience possible. They generously gave me a free oil change on top of everything else!
