I wouldn t recommend this place at all.You have several options in Alpena and I would make sure this one was your last!The girl who was handling the reception at this place was so rude and unprofessional.Not to mention, they failed to tell me that you can t use a card to pay for their fee.0/5 if I could, but I can t :/

Excellent service! My wife blew out a tire, and my insurance company called a place to hear them say.. we don't service insurance after 11pm. I promptly called Georgie's and she was all taken care of! They towed her, and even mounted new tire in morning, then delivered car to my wife's work establishment! 5 stars here!

George was a pleasure to work with. I got my truck stuck in deep mud in a remote location and was running out of options- failing to get my truck back on the road. Called Georgie s Towing & Wrecker Service, and they were incredibly cordial, professional and thorough on the phone. George was prompt to the scene and once on site he had me out and back on the road in under 10 minutes. I would recommend Georgie s Towing & Wrecker Service to friends, family, and colleagues alike. 10/10!

Georgies was quick. I was very pleased with the professional courtesy the driver and his helper showed. They treated my bike with respect and had it to the shop in short time. Update: somehow my usaa insurance FINALLY got it released after georgies unnecessarily harassing me furtherIt has been documented and recorded and will be included in the claim against him and the city of alpenaHad an accident and George the owner confiscated my vehicle w out MY PERMISSION or knowledge and is holding it hostage he is gorging me into an impossible loan situation on disability severe ptsd but he wants $150 PLUS $35 A DAY since the 10tnth never asked ME ONE QUESTION to me spoke ONLY to the white male 'officer' I guess they decided but I pay for it maybe a kickback to the cops

George is awesome -- understanding and professional. My truck's console shifter broke, leaving it immobilized 2-3 miles back in the woods...on a holiday...and I had headed back down south. George found the truck, loaded it somehow, and delivered it to the dealer for repairs without any issues. I couldn't be happier and would call him again for help.Service: Long distance hauling

Super friendly and They were great! Showed up early and when they left, I couldn't tell they had ever even #been there. Minus the Gigantic missing pine tree (that no one else wanted to tackle) of course. Tows or Trees - call Georgies.

Horrible service! Towed a vehicle for a family member and refused to release it stating that it had to be the registered owner. I had paperwork showing power of attorney and consent from the registered owner. Could clearly tell that they make it extremely difficult so they can claim a lost title and keep the vehicle. Very poor, sketchy service. In the meantime, they charged a daily storage fee. Took an entire week working with a lawyer to get the vehicle.Service: Car towing

Our bill was paid in full promptly (within 5 days) of the tree removal. Months later, the owner shows up unnanounced at 8 PM while we had guests over and starts making threats and says hes not leaving till he gets paid (this was our first notice of our supposed unpaid bill) Our response was to tell him to go ahead and call his office to check on the status of the fully paid bill. After some time on his cellphone, he gets back in his truck and peels away without a word, no apology, nothing. They did a good job on the tree removal, if you have the stomach for the potential drama.

Never had a better, faster, and reliable service. He not only cares about taking care of your car but also taking after you! His song jump started my car last week for the 5th time this month and still did it with smile. Highly recommend these guys!!

This wrecker service is the most disrespectful place in Alpena. If there was a -5 star they would be getting it. Prices are extremely high no matter what your insurance is and there is just poor service. Also very rude towards other wrecker services. In my one car accident he wouldn t take the my car as he was supposed to because the other car was newer and had better insurance, but I got lucky there because Jerome s towing took my vehicle and gave me a ride with a low charge great service.

The guy didn t wait for the car to be in neutral before he started tugging on the vehicle. When he was told to stop because of this. The tow driver got mad and left us on the road. Will never do business with them nor will I not let people I know about this.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

We called over 10 times in the past week due to the snow storm. Both the father and son are great people. When we call usaa to have us pulled out we only ask and request only Georgie s. I don t understand why the low ratings. We love them.

Love their towing service... Great- Quick- Reliable- I myself have used them through their many different services, "Unlocking Vehicles, Stuck in the Snow, Broke Down Vehicles, and Even Great Advise on a Stolen Vehicle. I call them for friends, family, co- workers. ALWAYS FRIENDLY. GEORGIES TOWING, "Always will put you at ease and help anyway their service can." I thank them for all their services. Towed our car and left me and my 2 kids ages 6 and 9 to walk back to alpena at 8pm at night and we were 2hrs out of town. And left my ignition on when they parked our car and killed my battery.Services: Car towing, Local haulingServices: Car towing, Local hauling

Beware...this towing company charges according to your insurance coverage! If you have full coverage your insurance will be billed dearly. For those who can't afford full coverage he will take your vehicle title for the inflated tow bill. No business ethics!

Took my grandson on a weekend trip to Dinosaur Gardens in Ossineke and 230 miles from home got a flat tire a older Gentleman stop he said he could not help us but he would get us help he called George's towing I talked to Annette very nice caring women she said she would send help her husband George came my grandson was upset George took the time to let him know we would be ok if I'm up north again and I needed help I would for sure call GEORGE'S TOWING I have dealt with a few tow company and so far George's Towing was the best thank God for good people

Tow truck driver pulled in front of two lanes of traffic leaving Shell gas station on Chisholm. He cut off multiple drivers causing us to slam in our brakes to avoid collisions. He continued up 11th Avenue using no turn signals. He could have killed someone.
