I'm not sure these people know what they're doing. Both times I've been there, I've had them use full synthetic and they sticker my next oil change for almost 10,000 miles out. I would never take it that far because I know better, but before I even reach 4,000 miles I have to add a quart of oil or more because it's low. Yesterday morning, after having added the oil no more than a few days ago, my oil light on the dash comes on and I'm wondering what in the hell is happening here. I take my car to Michigan Tire. They drop the drain plug and tell me it's some of the dirtiest oil they've seen in a while. This same scenario has happened both times I went to Quaker State. It doesn't happen anywhere else I go. They're doing something shady there. I don't know if they are putting old oil in when people come in for a change or what, but I've nearly blown my engine up each time I've been there. Never going again I can tell you that much. Plus they charge $30 more for an oil change. Screw that.

Great place if you need a fast and efficient oil change you don t even have to get out of the car. Tyler was very thorough and helpful at addressing our concerns and getting us on our way!

I go to a lot of drive-thru car washes, probably 3-5 times a month minimum. Most of them just spray the windshield for half a second and send me through. These guys basically wash the whole damn car before they send me through. Props to you guys, keep up the great work.P.s: I don't ever carry cash, it'd be nice to be able to tip via debit card. Love to send some card in their way for the above and beyond effort.Thanks!

Very fast. Great service. Unfortunately, like everything else, their prices went up, and you get a bit less--they don't vacuum your car anymore! Still a good service. Would recommend.

These guys are pretty quick. The prices are reasonable, they have a knowledgeable, friendly staff. They offer regular or full synthetic oil. They do transmission filter and fluid changes. Tires. Cabin filters. I'm very satisfied with the Quaker State Quick Lube Team in Alma, and I'm definitely recommending them.

Not too bad of a place. They did however tell us that they wouldn't charge us for labour they fixed the problem and then charged us for labour so that's false advertising on Thier end. Nice people though

Stopped in before heading out of town a long trip. There were 4 gentlemen working. I'm so sorry I didn't write their names down. They were very busy, but remained kind. We were in a rental car on the expressway when all of the sudden we had alarms for oil level too high. Pulled off in Alma and called a VW dealership to see if it was a real alarm and if immediate service was needed. We were told yes and that most quick oil changes companies don t service VW vehicles. Well, these fabulous guys at Alma Quaker State took care of us in a few short minutes!!! Had to pull 1/2+ quart out! Customer service is top notch and they even refused to take payment! Can t thank this team enough!!

These guys are fast and professional, and this is the only shop I'll let my car be serviced at going forward. Unlike other shops, Quaker State Alma has never tried to pressure me into purchasing any unnecessary services. The last service place I went to while out of state for a long vacation didn't seal my skip plate properly after performing an emergency oil change- Quaker State brought it to my attention and re-attached it for me without charge. I've also found their oil changes to be reasonably priced unlike their competitors.

The people that work here seem great, such wonderful and friendly employees. Always get my oil changed here, and the one time we decide to do it at home my husband couldnot get the drain plug out.So I came right in and asked for them to change my oil with the filter and oil I had already bought. They had no problem doing that!Will continue to be a returning customer!

Fast and friendly service with reasonable and competitive prices. Highly reccomended for a transmission flush. $100 cheaper than a dealership and 30 minutes or less!

On July 6, 2015 We got our oil changed at:Quaker State Quick Lube 1360 Wright Ave Alma, MI 48801like we always have been going to for years.. Anyways they said we needed a new oil or diff plug & my husband said fine go ahead and put a new one in, so we pay $30.00 for the oil change and $5.00 for the new plug and we went home. The car sat in the driveway for about 3 to 4 hours & we go out to go to the store and we noticed the oil is leaking on the ground where it was parked for 3 to 4 hours. So we went back up to the oil change place & my hubby said to them that maybe they didn't wipe off the excess oil or they didn't tighten the plug (which has happened before). The owner says you didn't buy this plug here, my husband has the receipt in his hand and the owner is screaming at his worker to get us outta the shop!! When like a good business owner does is find out if they forgot to wipe the excess oil off or tighten the plug he did NOTHING to find out the problem!! So he comes out from under the car cause his worker wouldn't do anything and gets right up into my husbands face screaming at him & so my husbands says I'm calling the police & while he was on the phone talking to the police the owner Jason is screaming saying you people are disgraceful and your car is disgraceful and it's people like you who are disgraceful!! And the officer who my husband was on the phone with, says who is that screaming? And my husband says that's the owner so the 911 call is taped.. We wait for the police officer to come & the officer is writing down the police report & the owner comes barging out of his shop trying to get in my husband's face saying get off my property & the officer tells the owner to go back in his shop cause my husband is the one that called the police not him, the officer raised his voice at him & told him 3 times to get back in his shop.. This man was screaming like a crazy person! Now we have to go get our car checked out by a certified mechanic because this owner would not check out what they did wrong, the oil was NOT leaking before we got the oil changed & now it is after we got it changed there!! We have never been so disrespected & talked down to in all our lives, it's not right!! I know darn well that if there were other customers there he would never have done that to us!!

They did an excellent job of duping me. Quoted one price over the phone, then it magically doubled when the work was done. I ll never come back.

It took 7 minutes to change my oil, filter, and air filter. I can see why these guys have been rated number one for so many years. Definitely switching to here to get my routine service. Thank you guys!

$45 for the cheapest oil change here for my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer ......nahhhhh they only check a few things like tire pressure.....Fast Eddies is cheaper and check out more!

WOW! I was impressed, No BS pricing (no bait and switch), didn't tell me I needed a bunch of stuff I didn't need, super fast, great professionalism and he gave a discount for being a Vet that I didn't know about or ask for. I'll be back.
