We came up to St. Louis, to go hunting. When we left the woods, our truck wouldn't start. We had to get someone to jump start, the battery. We took it to Advance Auto parts, in Alma MI. We talked to Steve, at the counter. He recommended doing a electrical test, to check the starter, alternator, and battery. We discussed the results of the tests and we decided to get a new battery. Steve was very professional at removing and installing the new battery. I would definitely recommend Advance Auto parts and ask for Steve.

What a great group of people. I had taken my battery out of my car at o Riley s just up the road think I could get a cheaper battery there. So to save money I walked the battery down to advance to buy one. Curt insisted on giving me a ride back to my car to install the battery with his personal car. I would give them 10 starts if I could. Thank you!

Not sure what kind of training the employees go through but whatever it is they definitely need more! When ordering parts they called to tell me they were in . Get to auto zone an half my order was missing an never ordered. Then they quote me double from the original order. They showed no concern that I drove 1/2 hour there an 1/2 hour back. I ended up calling the regional manager which in turn got me my parts for the price I was quoted. So I was told to come back the next day and my parts would be there. Well . I called them to make sure they had my part and guess what???? No parts an no one knew anything about it. At this point I knew they didn t know their head from a hole in the ground. Update: the manager was back in the store today an resolved the problem. I am grateful for his help. He had it taken care of within a hour. Thank you for showing concern an fixing the problem.

After going to a competetor several times with no luck or knowledge of what I needed the guy at Advance saved the day on my El Camino build and within 10 minutes had my radiator hose picked out and it fit right on. Just a basic SBC 350 with a who knows what radiator. Advanced Auto is my new choice in getting parts same day. Thanks again Alma Advanced Auto

They were really amazing. Helped me when my hands where too cold to put my brake fluid in or check it and they helped me no problem. They even checked my brake fluid before selling me any to make sure I bought the right amount.

I spent roughly an hour calling parts stores and went to advanced auto parts and realized that they were not the ones that had my parts, but the salesperson called their competitors down the street and they were the ones who had my parts in stock, even told the salesperson at the other store that he was sending me his way. My goof up was still met with courteous and very helpful service. Thanks to everyone at advance auto

They won't clear a code from your car becuz of a regulation which I dnt like. I prefer O'Reilly's but they are nice and helpful here as well. Just some things they won't do.

Great customer service!! The staff is very knowledgeable and seem enthusiastic about their job. They have no problems leaving the counter in order to assist you with finding the right part among the isle's. Great job!!

I stopped in today after my vehicle started behaving erratically and threw a code as I was passing through. Norm and I believe his name was Kurt narrowed the issue down quickly, then borrowed me the tools to fix it. When the bolts proved seized, they took it even further and assisted me in the repair. I was back on the road in an hour and it was like it never happened. Thank you so much!

Called 2 other part places because they were close to ithaca they said they had to order my brake calipers. I called here they had them in stock. They always seem to have what I need in stock. Excellent selection of parts.

Typical parts store vibe, prices are a little high. But if you are in the know, order online for in store pickup, you can get discounts. Few know, they will match RockAuto prices, as long as the warranty is the same, and you select next day shipping. That has saved me a lot of money.

Parts where available and at a good price. However that's where the good news ends. Four people on staff the most unwelcome auto parts store I have ever been in.

Employee did not know what a wheel stud was. Why is this person even working here? You dont get any simpler of a part to look up.

The first employee to help me didn't know exactly everything they had in stock he wasn't to helpful but the second employee that was a bit younger knew what I needed and knew what they had in stock

They know where parts are there quicker than AutoZone a little high but not alot more
