This is a good place for an oil change with friendly customer service and knowledgeable staff. If needed, they carry plenty of products to keep vehicles moving and safe.

We need more stars for this place. The guys were awesome. I would recomend this Performance Plus to everyone. I was from out of town and had something leaking. I stopped in to see if they could see what and where it was coming from. They found out oil was spraying all over my cars undercarriage. They unfortunately did not have the specialized tools needed to work on a Buick. However they did everything in there power to help me. I was so very thankful.

I don t even live in Allendale anymore and I still come to these guys. Not only did they talk me down from the more expensive change that I didn t need, they pointed out another flaw in my car that directly impacted my safety. These guys are nice, quick, and professional.

90 dollars for a labor only oil change is absolutely ridiculous. Paid a third of what I paid here at the valvoline in standale. Brought my own oil and they charged me 36 bucks at valvoline for the same job. Performance plus aggressively pushed services on me even when i refused them. They clearly assume their customers are braindead. I will not be coming back but I will remember this.

I have been here multiple times and the last time I went, on December 28th 2023, the staff seemed a lot less pushy about selling additional things. The music was lower and the employees created a much more calming atmosphere than on previous visits.

Got my almost $100 full synthetic oil changed here a few months ago,not even 1,000 miles into the new oil it all sprayed out from the filter being loose,had it towed to mechanic and they said "whoever changed your oil should loose they're job" got ahold of corporate and they didn't resolve the issue,just wanted reimbursement for the towing fees and a new oil changed,they should be glad they don't have to pay for a new engine. Myself and family won't be returning.

This is a good experience. My dog Phoebe is my partner when it comes to the oil changes and this is were we go. The crew is very nice and respectful.

Avoid this place.In the fall of last year, a technician filled my power steering reservoir with the wrong type of fluid causing me to lose power steering a few miles later and need a brand new power steering system.I prefilled all of my fluids, changed my own air filter, and went back for just an oil change last month and the technician claimed that I had an oil leak and would gladly add an extra $120 service that I would have to do multiple times, but would stop the leak. I returned home and monitored the driveway under my car for oil stains every day for a week after parking overnight and found nothing. I took it to a mechanic and found nothing.I will not be coming back.Service: Oil change

Stopped in for a oil change and watched as the proceeded to use an impact on my air filter bolts stripping all 4 of them rather than taking the time to do it properly with a skrew driver. Got home and realized that all 4 skrew were not even close to tight and the 1 that was in a tight spot wasnt even attempted to be tighted as it was about to fall out. Do yourself a favor and do the oil change yourself.

Slow as hell! Pulled in and an employee was letter her friend work on their car, proceeded to occupy a bay for close to 30 minutes. Then talked to one another, and didn t service me. Super over priced as well.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I've had a couple good experiences at performance plus, but I've dealt with Mason my last two oil changes and the young man is on point. I have only gone here 2 times and they have stripped my drain plug bolt, put it back in and then tried to seal it on with some kind of gel, and did not tell me. My father owns an auto body shop in my hometown and was doing some other body work when he noticed my oil was dripping. He had to send it to a whole other location for it to be fixed and it took a week and a half. I have been advised to never go here again! You'd think they'd know how to do the one thing they are there to do.Service: Oil change

I had such a wonderful experience! Being a young, college student who has very little knowledge of cars and was nervous to even get an oil change, they did an awesome job at thoroughly explaining all of the work being done and what everything s purpose was during the process. I felt very comfortable and confident in the work that they were doing and I was so happy with the care that they showed me and their level of professionalism. They were also extremely fast and efficient! I was in and out in roughly 10 minutes and it would definitely be quicker for anyone who did not need an explanation of the inner-workings of a car, as I did. I would highly highly recommend this place!!Service: Oil change

The girl that was working was awful. Treated the other employee like dirt. Guy just looked dismal afterwards. And when she had led me in to the bay she was waving her arms like a chimp swatting a fly. Not sure how she even got a job here honestly. She seems to be in charge of the shift as well. She's a walking Dunning Kruger effect.

The staff here are impeccable. I realized I had a tire that was low on air so I was going to take it for them to fill it up. Well of course while I was driving the tire continued to get lower, by the time I arrived it was shredded. The manager along with a few staff were more than willing to help put on my spare tire.Thank you so much to the team at this location they are always very professional and fast with their service. I usually come here for an oil change, but today was a little different and I still received the same amazing service.

I've been in line for 30 minutes (was only one car in front of me in each bay) and it still isn't my turn. A car that came 10 minutes after me is being serviced first due to an error by an employee. This is not the first time I've had slow service here. I don't plan to return even though that means driving farther to another place.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

My daughter goes there with her own oil filter and they want to charge her $90 for oil? She is a college student rip off Specialist!! I would never go there again..

I've been coming here for my oil change for years. There seems to be a lot of turnover in staff, but I always see the same manager and appreciate his friendliness and professionalism. They keep me informed about what they are doing under the hood and don't try to push unnecessary upgrades. I trust these guys and I recommend them.

While changing my air filter, they knocked a hose loose and didn't notice! My check engine light has never come on. As I drove away, it came on. They told me to go to Autozone and run a diagnostic. The diagnostic said it was an air intake problem. So, I looked it over, saw the loose hose, and reconnected it. I went back and showed it to them and they basically said "too bad, hopefully your check engine light will go off. If it doesn't, your Toyota dealer should cancel and reset the code for your check engine light." I understand people make mistakes, but the manager wouldn't take responsibility.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

These guys go above and beyond! they not only did a great job doing what I paid them for, but when my car broke down an hour later for a completely unrelated problem they were there to help. I thought it might have been something they did so I called and one of their mechanics drove to me and took a look. He also recommended a great towing service and stayed with me until I felt safe. I am a young girl away at college with no family around so this was amazing. They are honest and genuine people who provide the best quality service to your vehicle and also treat you like a person instead of a number.

I have had nothing but amazing experiences here. Jason, the manager, is incredible. I had my car towed here one day, without thinking "hey they don't do batteries!" Well, they made an exception and ordered a battery from down the road and installed it for me. Super friendly staff and always super helpful. Thankful for their service to the community.

Normally I wouldn't complain. However, this is the second time I have stopped by this location to get an oil change with no success. Just now there quite a bit of staff just standing around. When I pulled up, three of them looked right at me and kept on standing. Waited a couple of minutes to be at least addressed. No one came to my vehicle. I will not make another attempt with out the customer service being addressed.

I slid into a ditch and wanted to make sure my vehicle was okay. The team of gentlemen was super helpful! They zip tied my skid plate and gave me a little washer fluid too! Ruined my oil pan by stripping the drain threads. Then denied they did it. After I proved that they were the only ones who could have as the last change had no problem, they confirmed via their own video system it was them. Promised to put in a claim for my cost to replace my pan. Never called me back and after a month, when I called to check on the status, re-iterated their claim that it wasn't them.Service: Oil change

If I could give this place 0 starts I would. I visited this place to get my oil changed and they performed and entire general engine check. The boy lost my transmission cap and when I went back to see if they had it they denied ever checking it and then told me they would order the part after it was clear it was a fault on their end. I waited 2 weeks and go no response then finally called them and they forgot to order the part. Horrible professionalism and now I have to go buy an engine part because they don t know what they re doing. Save your time and money and go anywhere elseService: Oil change

Josh helped me get in and out with a synthetic oil change for my truck in about 15 minutes, maybe even less. In addition to the oil, he updated me with a full inspection of: lights, tire pressure, air filter, power steering fluid, radiator fluid, wiper blades, timing belt status, and washer fluid levels and conditions. I proceeded to purchase only washer fluid in addition to the oil change.Josh and the entire team handled my vehicle's needs quickly and efficiently, all for a respectable price.I highly recommend Performance Plus Quick Oil Change of Allendale if you're in need of any services they offer and needing help in a hurry!

I had waited FAAAARRR too long to replace my fuel filter and got it replaced here. When they took it off one of the clips rusted off and they needed to get some parts to change it (which they did for free). It ended up being a huge headache for them but unlike most quick oil change places they refused to cut corners and kept working on my car till it was 100% fixed and safe. They even gave me a ride back home to my car when they realized it was going to take a bit longer than expected and even gave me a big discount. I have never been so impressed with the customer service at any company in my life. I recommend them to everyone i know. I will definitely be going back
