This is a good example of a Hampton Inn. The best place to stay in Adrian. You get what you expect her. Wifi and breakfast are good. Lots of comfort food options within 3 minutes, some food options are walking distance.Rooms: Clean rooms with modern Hampton Inn furniture. Nothing worn out yet.Safety: Never had any issues, only people who belong there on site.Walkability: Some food you can walk to. But mostly vacant mall next door is bit sketch in the parking lot.

The hotel seems new or newly decorated. Most employees were pleasant. Our room had issues with cleanliness. Our shower was filthy with orange/brown gunk around base of shower and in the corners. It's floor was slimy and gross. Nothing a cleaner and cloth wouldn't take care. Any mirrors or glass was smeared. Bed was comfortable but the bottom sheet wouldn't stay on bed. There were employees out front on a smoke break dropping F-bombs.. very classy and family oriented.

My family and I stayed here a few months ago. Nothing special. The beds were soft. It came with the usual soap and coffee. The rooms stayed very hot even hours after adjusting the thermostat so we had a very difficult time sleeping. The pool is nice but quite small compared to other hotels I've stayed at and no hot tub. There are no vending machines available. The staff were not the most patient as far as customer service, but not horrible. They did not ice the steps on either side of the building where the side entrances are and the ice was VERY thick and slick. Our room did not block out much noise from the hall and we could clearly hear other guests slamming doors and talking. Basic continental breakfast available. I would choose a different hotel next time considering the room rate we paid. Overall its fine just not worth the rate unless you're getting a good deal.

I had requested for a king room. They switched me to a queen room without telling me. When we walked into our room it smelt like dirty diaper, the floors were sticky, the counters were sticky. I went down to request a different room and because I ordered a king. They said they switched me because they didn t have enough rooms available. Then I requested a different room all together because ours was dirty. The hostess said she could come up and clean it to my standards and bring air freshener. When she showed up she had a rag and a spray bottle which she used to wipe not only the floors but the counters. All in all this is the worst experience that I have ever had at any Hampton and I will not be returning to this location.

Nice rooms . When we stayed there trying to enjoy some family time in the pool. Kids from the neighborhood came in started problems with ppl who payed to be there , finally got them kicked out, after they caused so much problems that everyone got out the pool . Called management to complain, said he would get back with me it s been almost a month still heard from him. When you pay that much to stay , it upsets you , I would not recommend

My family stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. The hotel and rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. We didn't use the pool or gym, but they looked nice. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. If you want your room cleaned you have to request it to be cleaned. We didn't, but we requested clean towels and had no problem receiving them. We will definitely stay here again.

The room was very dirty. I left there feeling dirty and not happy. The way they cleaned my room after I asked, was to make the bed and that was it.At this time, I will not go back.

The front desk agent was fast, efficient, kind and welcoming. We were checked in to a mobility accessible room, #416.I loved being able to get a picture of the "welcome to the great lakes state" wall design so easily. I was tired after a long drive. This made getting my picture of where I was for the night easy. It's a small thing for the hotel to do but a big thing for someone on a long trip on a one night stay. The lobby and breakfast area was spotless. There was a booth with a tablet for use by travelers. The elevator was reflective without a single fingerprint. We went from floor 1 - 4 quietly and effortlessly. It was as fast going up 3 floors as it was just closing the doors. My room was directly across from the elevators. The digital key on my phone's app worked perfectly. I was able to handle the door and my Service Dog. The door fully closed automatically behind me.When I went into the bathroom, I pulled on every safety bar and tested every faucet. EVERY bar was completely solid (and I weigh over 200lbs).. The faucets worked. They ran hot and cold. The water appropriately ran into the sink, even with the faucet placed in the corner. The bathroom/closet door had the correct stoppers in place. There were also enough handles to make it easy for me to use.Hooks were strategically placed. I could reach several inside the bathroom and the lobby of our room. I appreciated that the headboard and wall art reflected the local personality.Everything in the room was amazingly CLEAN. I walked around on tan socks. The floor and carpet were CLEAN as well. The only fault that I could find is that the refrigerator should have been turned on since they knew we were coming. A warm refrigerator takes 24 hours to cool down to the correct temperature.

So, I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! This is our second time staying here, the first time was due to mass power outages in our home town and this was the only hotel that had a room left.... That being said, when our furnace went out during Winter storm Elliot, they were the first place we called because they were so great the first time. The front desk was so kind, they said because we don't know if our furnace will be able to be fixed sooner, we can go day by day. Mind you, our second stay we arrived on Christmas Eve, and the front desk staff was so sweet and welcoming! They had already gotten our room ready from when we called in the morning and said we could check in as soon as we could get down here. Now for the room, it was super clean (as always,) the pool was warm (almost like bath water) and I love that it's saltwater, so much easier on my kids skin. The staff is so sweet, especially Amy, Melanie, Sarah, and Christina (sorry if spelled any names wrong ladies,) but I can honestly say they made our stay special, we've not only had a great stay at a great hotel, but we made some lifelong friends and memories! Housekeeping, even set up my kids "babies" on the back of the couch & their bed, it was so thoughtful! They treated us like family and I would gladly tell anyone looking for a nice getaway, look no further!

Fathers Day Weekend 2023Update to my review from a year ago...We stayed here at the Hampton in Adrian over Fathers day weekend again this year.Overall a good stay - rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool and the patio outside adjacent to the pool were great.MOST staff were friendly however a few were rather "snooty"Hotel seems to have a number of staff that just seem to do just enough to get by... Group of staff standing near the front door smoking while nearby trash cans overflow and litter around the building - if you want a smoke break, fine - go pick up a little while you are standing around.Security door by pool area (outside access) broken and often left unsecure and propped open with a stone.Possible "guest" (maybe not) sleeping in the computer seating area in the hall adjacent to the breakfast area for most of a day.Complimentary breakfast is a disaster. For a full hotel over Fathers Day weekend the scheduling was horrendous. Appears that the night clerk starts breakfast and coffee around 5am and the rest of the folks wander in whenever they please after that.Watched one staff member wander in, dump four semi-frozen cheese danish into a bin and then go sit in the guest breakfast area and proceed to sit and "play" on her iPhone for the next 40 minutes. The whole process is not well organized and for the avarage price of $140-ish per night the Hampton could do a whole lot better. We ended up finding breakfast elsewhere (other than coffee) most every day. Not good food - not served hot and serving trays always empty... I am not sure that your temps even meet health and safety requirements based on what I tried. The Hampton Inn is the nicest place to stay in Adrian but overall misses the mark. Someone needs to step up and really get this place organized. A little push and this place could be amazing but instead its mediocre and overpriced for where it's located..***************************************************Fathers Day weekend 2022Upon checking in we were told there is a $200 additional security deposit that was not disclosed at the time of booking the room online. While it was not a problem for me it was definitely a hassle for the older group checking in after us. I can see where this could be a problem for someone on a tighter budget. Checking into our room we found it was reasonably clean but there was a ring of crud in the seam around the base of shower that a little bleach and scrubbing would have resolved. Shower door was heavy glass on a nice roller however the door would roll open 8 to 10 inches when standing in the shower. Would not stay closedWe ended up not doing breakfast at the hotel. Apparently they booked baseball teams there over Father s Day weekend and did not have adequate food prepped for the number of guests on both Saturday and Sunday. Staff showed up around 8:30 to 9am on Sunday and had to immediately begin clean up and prep because it appeared there was only one person in the breakfast area and one person at checkout. Overall the hotel was clean but lacking in attention to detail. Tops of tables in the breakfast were clean but the stainless bases had food debris and needed wiped down. Cobwebs in corners of the entrance and staircase. Trash in flowers and around the grounds should be cleaned up.Sunday morning some jackass guest decided it was a good idea to smoke pot in their room on floor two. When the front desk was notified the person on duty stated that they were being kicked out but she really did not show a lot of urgency or concerns. I could care less but my wife has breathing issues.Overall the Hampton is likely the best hotel in Adrian but I really feel they could do better for the price they change.

The facilities were great. It's a brand new hotel. Staff was great too.The problem was there was a sewer smell that started tn the dining area, and made its way to the elevator. The smell wasn't overwhelming, but you wouldn't expect it for a brand new hotel. Also, a staff person said she had reported the smell to management, but management had not begun to deal with the problem.Otherwise, perfectly good hotel.

Very clean newer property. Staff was friendly and made us feel at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast selection wasn't too bad unless you are doing low-carb I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

The breakfast bar had a great variety of hot and cold items, and the hot food was fresh. The rooms are nice and had a modern feel.Nearby activities: Aubrees pizza is right in front of the hotel and it's a great place for dinner.

What a great experience we had! We had a beautiful, clean suite on the ground floor by the exit door and yet we were never disturbed by the foot traffic or parking lot traffic, including the tour bus parked adjacent to our room. We never heard it from inside the room, not even a it sat idling in the snow covered parking lot to warm up the bus! The staff was very friendly, courteous

The rooms are so clean. Love the size of the rooms. Good size pool. I want to book a wedding block there, but the sales manager works remotely from New York and I haven't heard back.

I m a diamond member and travel 10 months of the year. In my opinion, below are the pro s and Con sPRO*Clean Rooms*Comfortable Beds*Front Desk was HelpfulCONS*All trash cans were always overflowing*Room wasn t ready at 3:00*The breakfast was the worse. There wasn t even water at 0900 on a weekend. I am not exaggerating. All eggs, meat, waffles, milk for cereal, muffins, bread, all were empty. There was 15/20 people standing there ready for breakfast. When we asked RAY if anything was coming out, we were spoke to very poorly as he was throwing pans in the sink. In addition, he continued to speak out loudly how this sucks and shaking his head.I have always enjoyed staying at this hotel and unfortunately it seems to be declining. Maybe time to try somewhere else.

We moved from MI to FL about 8 years ago. Whenever we re in town, we need a place to stay. The rooms were clean however The disappointing part was that a kid vomited right next to the pool (a made it out of the pool and he immediately jumped back in the pool after vomiting) and although it was wiped up, it was not wiped up completely or thoroughly sanitized and kids continued to swim. When staff was asked, we were told there was no janitor on site and nothing else could be done.

Room was clean, bathroom could have been better on cleanliness. Hotel entry clean very updated. Font staff was ok pool was supposedly not open but found other swimming there so confusing to what truth was. Beds were super comfortable for me and mother inlaw.

The hotel is nice and feels fresh and clean as it should because it s new! The breakfast right now is prepackaged in boxes and came with a yogurt, bagel, cream cheese, hard boiled egg, and oatmeal! There are a few design details that I could do without. The bathroom door is a sliding barn door style which does not provide much privacy. I was traveling with family, but I d certainly not want to be with a coworker as you could hear anything and everything between the room and the bathroom. The sinks are also an odd design because the faucets aren t long enough for the basin so you end up shoving your hand against the back of the bowl to wash. The toilet paper roll holder was at an odd angle which made the roll fall off every time you used it because the stopped wasn t large enough to hold it on. Definitely a good hotel for the price despite the odd bathroom design flaws.

First off, I would like to say that the stay was average at best but there was one night that will scar me forever. We returned to the hotel around 8PM after a long day at a sporting event and we were just about to settle down and relax. However, when we were preparing to lay down, we found cooked shrimp in our pillow cases. Disgusting right? I followed up with the manager to see if they can at least compensate us for a night or two for our stay. And what do they do? They blame us for putting the shrimp in our own pillow cases. I completely do not recommend this hotel and politely ask you to be careful during the pandemic to find clean hotels. This was pathetic and unprofessional on their part.

This property is new and well put together. The rooms were super clean, bed was comfortable and the staff did everything they could to make the stay nice during these troubled Covid times. We normally don't stay at Hampton properties but there wasn't much of a choice in Adrian and this properly has to be the nicest around. -- The boxed breakfast contained yogurt, orange juice, two hard boiled eggs, a bagel, cream cheese, and oatmeal. Coffee and tea were also available.

We stayed there for 2 nights. They had fair/competitive pricing. Staff as nice. Complementary breakfast and bottled water. Didn't have the opportunity to utilize the pool. Rooms were nice and walking distance to some restaurants.

Considering that it s a new hotel I expected more. All the staff is rude and doesn t really care or know their jobs. The duvet wasn t even in the blanket, there were no sheets or blankets for the pull out couch, much less pillows, and the pool was small and there was no hot tub at all. Staff was more worried about policing who was wearing masks at breakfast than cleaning tables and maintaining the buffet. Don t stay here. I won t, ever again. A disgrace to the Hampton name.
