Great experience with Paul and the team. Had a suspension kit installed to replace the failed air suspension in my truck. Dropped it off on Sunday and it was ready Monday afternoon. Truck now rides smoother than ever. The final price was even LESS than I was quoted. Fair, honest prices and excellent quality work. I will definitely be returning in the future when the need arises!

I had a very good experience with Forest Auto Repair and will definitely come back in the future for any repairs. I brought in my car for an exhaust leak because I could see a hole formed in the muffler. My car is a 2009 with over 200,000 miles on it but it is on good shape and want to keep it running, but also prefer to not spend a crazy amount on repairs if possible. The muffler is connected to the catalytic converter as a single piece which would be very expensive to replace in kind. Paul, the owner, was a great guy and spent a little time to figure out which muffler he can order and install without having to remove the catalytic converter. He was able to cut the exhaust and weld in the muffler which was much more cost effective than replacing the part in kind as a whole piece.I really appreciated Paul's kindness and flexibility. I came in the morning and they were able to have it repaired that same day because Paul said they luckily had an opening and could get to my car right away. The price was fair, the service was good, but most importantly Paul seemed like a genuine guy who I'd trust and not feel ripped off like I have with other mechanics in the past.

Had a great experience with Forrest Auto repair. They kept me updated on what was happening throughout the time they had my car, I was able to pay over the phone and pick it up after hours. Reliable service. I was told to drop the vehicle off Sunday evening and the repairs would be done by Monday at 5:00. They didn't disappoint. Work was done at the price quoted. Brakes front and rear. I would recommend Forrest for your repairs.. Update: Check engine light on. Puzzling for me not for them. Dropped car off in the morning ready for pick-up in the PM. Professional service!

Paul and his guys do a great job. They're honest, competent and friendly. And they're willing to go the extra mile, doing things like taking your air handling system apart to find and remove the dead mice and nests.

Paul is very honest and does great work. I bring all 4 of my family vehicles to him. Always friendly and vehicles are ready when he says they will be. Price usually ends up being right around the estimate or occasionally even less than quoted. I would highly recommend Forrest Auto Repair to anyone who wants a fair price and quality work on their vehicles.

I recently needed my vehicle window repaired and an inspection. As a new resident of Wilmington I thought I was taking a chance on a mechanic I had never worked with before but I could not be happier that I found them. The person who handled my car, Jack, was courteous, professional, and above all great at keeping me up to date on what work was being and when it would be ready. Despite needing to order parts the whole thing was done quickly and for less than I expected to pay. Will be back and recommend others do the same.Service: Electrical repair

Middle of a heatwave and my mother's ac would not work. I called Paul and he took me right away. AC is now working. Paul was even going to stop traffic so we could get out. I my family and I have brought all of our cars to Paul for years now. From Audi s, Mercedes, Jeeps, Hyundai s. Paul the owner has handled every nightmare I have thrown at him. Car seems to always get fixed faster, and for cheaper, than I think It will. Super nice guys, could not recommend them highly enough.

Been taking our cars here for a few years. We now live in NC but had traveled to the area and needed some emergency repairs. Forrest took the truck in and had it repaired before lunch. Great service and competent, friendly employees.

The service at Forrest Towing is terrific. The mechanics are very personable. They fix what is broken and nothing else and do not charge you for things you do not need.I found the owner to be a very considerate customer oriented person. I will definitely take all of my business here.

From the start these guys were pleasant and willing to help! I went in for a simple repair and let me tell you, you cannot beat their prices!! They did and incredible job on my Honda! I'd recommend them to anyone!

The clutch on AC compressor did not engage. I reasonably well explained that it need adjustment by removing spacer. It should be a 10 minute job, one hour max. The mechanic however called my wife and asked to replace not only the clutch but the whole ac module charging 10 times more. That is not auto repair its oversell and unnecessary replacement of genuine Japanese with aftermarket questionable quality parts. Making higher profit and taking advantage of people not mechanically advanced ruins trust big time.

They said they wouldn't charge until after a diagnosis. They called and said they put $40 of oil in. I told them that I had put oil in it a couple weeks ago so they should look for more problems, like maybe an oil leak. They said it was ready, so I tried to drive it away, only to watch my coolant bubble dry ten minutes later as I pathetically sat by the side of the road flagging down strangers to help me push it out of the road. The car never drove again. I still ended up paying for the oil I knew I didn't need.
