My family has always bought from Harbro in the past and has always had tremendous success. I decided that for my first purchase, I would go through them as well. I approached Mike with a very specific list of demands for the truck that I wanted and within a week he had easily surpassed those needs and custom ordered the exact truck I wanted! Harbro has always been nothing shorty of fantastic when it comes to buying cars or even servicing them. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy a car without having to deal with the hassle of big dealerships.

My son and I had an excellent experience with Harbro! My son was in desperate need of a car. I called and talked with Mark, one of the owners. I told him what I was looking for and my price range and within a week he found the perfect vehicle for my son. Harbro employees are so friendly and helpful, paperwork is seamless. Car registered, with plates right on site. My son is so happy and so am I.

We just recently purchased ANOTHER vehicle from Harbro, this time we had the pleasure of working with Mike. This transaction was so easy and seamless. This time buying a car wasn't a hassle. There was no back and forth. No hidden numbers. The hardest part was Me, making the final decision. I wasn't pressured or overwhelmed at the signing like the other dealerships do. When we agreed on a monthly payment it actually was a few dollars below. NO added fees and hidden "extras".The vehicle binder I received was perfect and an added extra surprise.Rick and Craig were great, fun to talk to, and made the experience simple. thanks, guys.

Honestly the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I just moved to town and this place was highly recommended by locals and my coworkers. I don t have a car so I walked 50 minutes to get here. I called before I came to check if they had any available sales person to help, they said yes. I waited for 45 minutes in the lobby. I was passed by a number of employees and none of them greeted me or attempted to ask what I needed. The lobby is not that huge so it seems as if they were ignoring me intentionally. I was desperate to get a car so I even waited inside for my Uber to arrive, just in case someone would finally try to help me. Maybe this place normally does have excellent customer service, unfortunately I didn t receive not one once of it.

This post is in response to Rahina Dean's post. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience at Harbro Auto. It's a great place to purchase a vehicle and have your vehicle serviced. I know the lobby is not that big and the sitting area in the lobby is mostly used for customers waiting for their vehicle to get done in the service department. If you went into Harbro and just sat down in the chairs in the lobby, you may have been mistaken for a service customer waiting for their car. Typically when customers come in for the sales department they go to the front desk and check in, so that the sales department knows there is a customer waiting to be helped. I would recomend you give Harbro a second chance, but this time check in with the front desk. This will insure your not mistaken as a service customer.

This Auto Sales company is the ONLY local place that my husband and our family have been buying our vehicles from for the last 10 years and we will continue to spend our hard earned money with Harbro Auto Sales in Whitinsville and possibly in Webster also!

I had a fantastic experience with Harbro Auto Sales! One of my friends recommended Mike Hare and from the moment i talked to him until i picked up my car everything was great. Very trust worthy, straight forward and knowledgeable, you cant go wrong! Im so happy with my 2019 Toyota Highlander and ive been waiting for this moment to have this! Mike had asked me the specifics of what i wanted EXACTLY! and he found it and got it for me. One of the nicest guys ever! I can tell everyone works hard here and i appreciate everything. Thanks again Harbro! I will always recommend you to everyone i know.

My wife and I just purchased a 2013 Yukon Xl with 68000 miles. Being out of state what drew me to Harbro auto sales was only the vehicle. The experience was like no other when purchasing it and I was very surprised.Mark was absolutely wonderful to work with. I was allowed with no questions to take the vehicle back to RI and have my mechanic go through it.My mechanic found a few minor issues which I brought up to Mark and without Hesitation they were fixed.That is a sign of a truly quality dealership.The total experience was an excellent one and in the future I will be looking at Harbro auto sales first for a vehicle that fits our needs.Thanks again

Harbro Auto exceeded all my expectations of a dealership. I came to them looking for a specific vehicle, and they were able to find the perfect fit in a short amount of time. They are thorough, trustworthy, friendly, and dependable. It s obvious they care, not only about the sale, but the customer s satisfaction before, during, and after the sale. This was my first experience with a dealership and I d be happy to recommend them to my friends and family. Special thanks to Mark for his care and attentiveness in helping me find my Ford Transit!

Great experience!!!Our car, which we bought at Harbro, was recently totaled in an accident. Not only did Mark help me with getting a better settlement for the SUV but also worked to get me into a fantastic replacement keeping my payments and value of vehicle equal.The SUV we purchased was gone over thoroughly and parts & service were provided that exceeded anything i would expect for a used vehicle.This was my 5th car purchased at Harbro and highly recommend anyone shopping for a car start there.

The service dept does exactly as they are called provide unbelievable service! My mom has used them for 2 major repairs and I was very impressed of their honest approach. Recently, I had called in for an oil change and tire rotation for the same day, and they were able to fit me in quickly. I usually go to the dealer, but why would i do that when Harbro can do the same for less money and honest recommendations. On another day, I had a nail in my tire, yet right before they closed, the service dept was able to quickly repair it, and kept me on time to get the kids.Another exceptional car buying experience! Mike and his team took care of finding the car, financing, insurance and all the paperwork. It was easy and efficient. Mike even helped negotiate the best possible rates from the banks.My whole family comes here now! Thanks Harbro!

I had bought my previous car from this dealership in 2009. It ran like a charm right up to today. I decided to purchase another car from them and, again, received outstanding customer service from Bill and Dan. Bill went through every aspect of the 2016 Ford Focus I was buying. He was so pleasant and had the patience of a saint explaining everything to me regarding my new car. He even put in my new floor mats for me!!! Everyone at Harbro treats you like you're their best friend. I always get my car serviced there and they act the same way. I would recommend Harbro to anyone. The service is wonderful and the car's are top notch.

None of this comes as a surprise to me, as I have become used to excellent experiences at Harbro. From the moment I purchased my vehicle over three years ago, I have enjoyed superb service - from the buying process, to maintenance. I cannot more strongly recommend a company to do business with. The owners, staff and employees all genuinely care about their customers, which is just not all that common anymore, particularly in the big dealerships where customers are more like "numbers". Every single time I need an oil change, maintenance (I've had alignments, brake pads, rotors, batteries done), or need to buy a new vehicle, I head to Harbro and would recommend them to anyone who is sick of big dealers and poor service and is looking to be treated fairly and given honest advice. They have a great selection of vehicles, excellent service and their employees treat customers like family. They are not just looking to make a quick buck. Even better, the prices are as fair as it gets! Don't make any more mistakes...just go to Harbro and let them take care of you. Thanks again to the entire sales, service and general staff at Harbro for making another great experience serve as a reminder of why I do business exclusively with you!

My husband and I have purchased several vehicles from Harbro, over the course of about 20 years. Our most recent purchase was my gorgeous truck. We worked with Dave, whose kindness, patience, and knowledge made the buying process a pleasure. Working with Dave was amazing, from the help with a rental car, to finding the right vehicle with the right financing,. he really took the time to address all of our questions and concerns. He truly made us feel like we were his most important customers. From the knowledgeable sales staff, to the service department, they make buying a vehicle an absolutely great and easy experience. We will never go any place else!

My experience at Harbro was excellent. I was looking a newer used car with fairly low mileage that got good mileage because my wife's job requires a lot of driving. Jeremy was very helpful and allowed her to test drive a couple vehicles that looked good to her. She found a great car and Jeremy was able to secure the financing and monthly payment I was looking for. Overall, both my wife's concern for a great car and mine for a good price were met. I plan to make my next purchase at Harbro.

Our experience at Harbro was top notch! From beginning to end, they listened to our needs and our situation, and did everything possible to find us the perfect vehicle within our budget. We live out of the area, but the drive to Harbro was well worth it to get their outstanding customer service and attention to detail. Recieved service on 2 of my vehicles same day no appointment 2 hour turn around. I have been a loyal customer at Harbro since 2010. There customer service and dedication is above and beyond. I've purchased 3 vehicles and they take care of all my preventive maintenance from oil to tires. I highly recommend Harbro to anyone I know is shopping for a vehicle. Mike will never steer you wrong, there all just an honest helpful group.

I dealt with David and Chris. David is a very friendly outgoing person and will go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want and are happy. David was very fast and thorough in getting me approved and into the right vehicle, he had the vehicle ready for the day i wanted it, he made everything work around my schedule.There were a few small issues when i picked the vehicle up and at first i was a little disturbed. David was pulled off the deal in the middle of it to cover their other location, and i feel after that the deal was rushed and some things were overlooked. After a few emails and a quick return phone call from Mark, the service manager, we were able to resolve the issues. Mark was very helpful and friendly, and was ready to do whatever he had to, to make the vehicle right and make sure he had a satisfied customer.The paper work was done quickly and correctly which made the deal go smoothly, good job to the office staff.I would go back to them again, and i would like to give them all 5 star ratings next time. As a business owner myself i face the same challenges they have, when managing a rapidly growing business it is sometimes difficult to make every transaction perfect upfront, even though we try our best to. If there are issues, then we need to step up to the plate and quickly resolve them, and that is what Harbro has done.So, thank you David and your team at Harbro, hopefully with our customer reviews you can iron out some of the wrinkles for the future....In the end we are satisfiedLuke and Heather

In my first purchase with Harbro I was offered great service, but the product (2007 Dodge Dakota) ended up being the biggest lemon I ever had. I firmly believe they sold the vehicle with morals and did a thorough overview of it to fix any evident issues. As time went on I found myself at their maintenance dept. on average at least once a month if not more to get something fixed. This went on for 18 months to the point where my family and I simply did not feel safe in it anymore.I brought this to he attention of Mike Hare who did a very professional job of taking ownership for the poor quality vehicle, and he could understand my frustrations. Being an ethical company, Mike did everything he could to pay off my remaining loan balance and get me into a newer truck without and realized gain on their part. I was happy with how he handled it, and how he didn't just brush the situation off and redirect the problem back to me.So far the new truck is running 200% better than the previous one. I have always believed in not judging, especially on first impressions. I wanted to give Harbro a second chance because I don't like leaving bad tastes in my mouth. Harbro's slogan, "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price remains", is something they stood by and would not let me leave with that bitter taste in my mouth.There service has always been great despite the poor product the first time around, but I don't believe that is the norm, and I just happened to be one of the unlucky few to have a difficult first experience. So far the new truck (Ford F-150) sounds and runs great. I hope to be able to continue recommending Harbro as I did even when my first truck was giving me problems.Thank you Mike, Tim, Kelsey, Dan, Mark and the service team for getting my family and I through this difficult exchange. Since buying my 2001 Ford Crown Victoria at Harbro in July, I can honestly say I have never been treated so well by any dealership. Stephanie and Dave, my salespeople, Mike and Mark Hare, Heather, Amy, Devin, Chris, have all been incredibly accommodating from day 1. Being able to complete the purchase of a car feeling great about the entire transaction is one thing. However once you return for service at Harbro, that's when you really see what they are made of. These are the most understanding, considerate, knowledgeable, and professional people you will ever deal with. The only losers in this scenario are the people who never allow themselves to experience Harbro, I can walk into Harbro on any day, at any time, and everyone in there knows my name, who I am, what car I bought. It's incredible, I feel like I just walked into a relative's house. A finer staff you'll never find, and you can have the confidence in knowing that your vehicle is serviced well, serviced right the first time, and if for any reason you need them for anything, they are absolutely there for you 100%. I wrote a rave review when I purchased my car in July, and will continue to do so with any opportunity I can get. I'll bet that since July, I must have recommended Harbro to 10 people, at least. If you knew me, you would know that I only do this when I am 100% committed to a business that is 100% committed to me. Buy here, have all your service done here, and you'll never regret it, EVER!

If you're in the market for a used car you must give Harbro a shot! This was my second experience with them. I enjoyed the first purchase so much that I had to come back. I called up Mike and told him exactly what I was looking for. Within a few days he called me to tell me he had found my next truck. He never bothered me with similar vehicles or colors that I didn't want. I've dealt with other dealerships who are just trying to sell you a car, they don't care about what you want. This is not the case with Harbro! I told Mike what I was looking to spend and where I wanted my payments to be. He managed to get me a beautiful truck right where I wanted my payments to be. I can't say enough good things about this dealership! I had aftermarket lighting in my previous vehicle and the guys at Harbro allowed me to pick up my new vehicle and then they delivered my old truck to my light installer to get the lights swapped out! They really go above and beyond for their customers! I will likely be back in a few years for my next vehicle!
