Ted really saved me when another highly rated shop told me I needed a complete transmission replacement on my ProMaster that would have costed upwards of 7 grand and taken weeks to complete.I brought it in to Ted for a second opinion. He informed me the transmission in fact had no issues at all and a simple tune up would take care of the issue.Sure enough, I brought it in to be serviced and had it back before closing same day. Had my transmission rebuilt here. I was in a pinch and he got to work on my vehicle very shortly. He was very knowledgeable and informative on what was wrong, why it went wrong, and what needed to be done. Very nice people - honest and ready to accomplish repairs economically. Most recently we took our older Toyota Tacoma to Ted's after an auto service chain told us the brake line was rusted and should be replaced. Ted inspected it and found it to be fine. I had a great experience with Ted and his team. I got a car through a private sale. The car went to limp mode within a week and I was not sure of the issue. I took it to 3-4 service shops around Quincy and also to the dealer. None of them could help or came forward to find the issue. All I heard was transmission has to be replaced. I was about to sell the vehicle and made a last check with Ted. The team spend 2+ days to identify the issue and was very honest where the actual issue was fuse and electrical problem I suppose. Ted kept me informing what he is doing and he finally fixed for really low price. He helped me in a tough situation and fixed my first car. Excellent service and a great human. Thank you Ted.

Highly recommend! All of my transmissions were serviced and replaced here, and there's been no problems ever since.The mechanics there are very honest and let you know what they're doing every step of the way and will go out of their way to help everyone. Rebuilt the transmission of my F150 perfectly and there was a small issue, which they fixed ASAP under warranty. Amazing, real professionals. Only repair shop I will go to.

I never met Ted before and found his shop on Google. I brought my vehicle to Ted regarding a transmission issue. I had previously contacted 2 dealerships and another local transmission shop and none of them could diagnose the situation. Ted immediately resolved the issue with a simple solution. Today I just met one of the most competent and honest professionals I've met in a long long time. THANK YOU TED!

Ted and his wife are the nicest people. Never met such a compassionate mechanic.ted looked over my 09 scion tc and also recommend me to someone who specialize in what my car needed. And did not charge me a cent.he even said." I'll get your car over to the other guy" and he did just that.saved me from having to get it towed. I wish I could give him 100 stars. He even threw my new battery in I had. Absolutely blew me away with their compassion.GREAT MAN! And his wife Andrea I can't say enough great things about her also,she was so sweet! Ted himself great ppl skills, excellent pricing on his work. I will, and have been referring him to ppl before they even end up needing Transmission work done. You never know my car just hit 60,000 and I was not Happy. Especially when the Dealers want $5,600 to do your Transmission Thanks again for your services, and saving me OVER $2,000 Dollars. Wish there were more Honest people Like your self.

Ted runs a great shop.He rebuilt the transmission on my older Mercedes convertible.Even my regular guy was afraid to tackle that, but these guys have the ability to do it.I strongly recommend Ted's shop if you want honest service, they stand behind their repairs. Best transmission shop on the south shore.

Teds transmission installed a used transmission along with wheel bearings and the car was back up and running. We started to hear a noise so we dropped it off only to hear that the bearings failed again he repaired the beating at No cost which we felt is very honorable. We appreciated and highly recommend the services you get there

We brought one of our landscape trucks there during the winter after it broke down during a snow storm. The truck had the plow and sander on it. Ted took it in and agreed to look at it. Turns out it was too heavy to get lifted up, but he still diagnosed the problem for us, referred us to another business in the neighborhood, and let us keep the truck in his yard until we could get it towed all for free! Him and all of his guys who I talked too while I was there just seemed great, honest, and knowledgable and even though the guy he referred us too was great as well, I am bummed he couldnt help us out and we couldnt give our business to him. We'll definitely bring our smaller trucks to him in the future.

Went there to get an opinion on my dieing Nissan tranny. These guys know CVT transmissions and Ted was very helpful with giving me options. They seem to have competitive pricing and also hooked me up with a free diagnostic.

Good experience. Took the time to drive the car and explain diagnosis to someone that doesn't know a lot about cars, which is rare. Gave a fair estimate and said to think it I over with no charge. Would definitely recommend and return. Thanks!

He rebuilt a transmission on my 2009 Jeep , put an upgraded torque converter. He Also told me that he put a new Harness In Transmission. I recently had MORE Transmission problems only to find out he never put the New Harness In and Spliced them together (Hacker) . I Now Had to take my Jeep to A REAL TRANSMISSION WIZARD AT CAPE COD CUSTOMS. NEVER GO TO A DENTIST FOR AN EAR ACHE ...... TED You made A mistake Admit It..... I will NEVER SEND ANYONE TO YOUR SHOP.....
