Brought my car in for rear brakes and the service was great! I had previously brought my car in a little over a year ago for rear brakes and I only put under 8k on the brakes so they should have been good. The owner (George) did my rear brakes and rotors free of charge. They are an honest business which is refreshing and won t gouge you for things your car doesn t need. I only bring my cars here and you should too!

Had a flat tire today and went there when they're about to close. They are very friendly and flexible to help me. Yes, pricing is very reasonable. Great mechanics!!! Honest priced out the job and had it ready by the time I got out of work. Oh yeah they dropped me at work 10 minutes up the street. George has put his heart into the business with keeping up with all the new technology in the new cars to be able to diagnose any issues with your vehicle!!!

The Owner George is friendly and takes pride in his work as well as his customers. Whether it's by appointment or walk-in you can tell he genuinely cares about his clients. His staff are quick and knowledgeable. Anyone wants a hastle or stress free experience on their vehicle I'd send them there. Turn around time is alot quicker than most shops in the area. Highly recommend. If I could give 6 stars I would. Earned my future business.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

The one star review people must have had one bad fluke experience. I've been very happy with South Shore Auto Repair. Oil changes for the best price you can find. When I've needed work done, they call around to find the best deal they can find to order parts. I got springs and struts replaced for literally half the price I was quoted at a similar local spot. They replaced a headlight for free (I provided the bulb...just couldn't replace it myself). The guys here actually care and want to take care of you and your car. Best gas prices around too!

My guy who runs the shop is great. He recently did my wheel bearing for me. He's also thrown on a drive shaft and done a tune up. He gets me in and out pretty quickly and charges fairly and competitively. He also saves me always having to do things myself by being able to accommodate my random stopping in.

I cannot say enough about George and his team. I have been going to him for years when he owned and operated the big Gulf at the corner of Rt 18 (near the Dairy Queen and Honda dealership). His prices have always been reasonable and I never feel that he is taking advantage of me. One time he even did all my repairs at no cost and told me "Merry Christmas". When I asked him why he said it was because he should have known that this was going to happen and should have fixed it last time--even though the repair wasn't related to what he had previously worked on!This is an industry where I can be hoodwinked easily because I know nothing about car repair and that is the furthest things from my mind when dropping my car off with George.I've never had to wait more than 2 days for any type of repair and the technicians are friendly as well.This is truly a one of a kind repair shop.

I don't know who is writing these 5 star reviews but this has got to be the worst service I've ever received. Unprofessional and dishonest. If you don't want to get ripped off, don't come here. They must have thought my mom and I were clueless. I took my car elsewhere and the charges were 1/4 of what they waneed to charge me. They charged me $85 just to check my check engine light. Any other auto body would have checked it with no charge. I will not be coming back here and highly recommend that no one comes here for car services.

I drive an infiniti, so oil changes at the dealer are expensive. These guys charge a third less for what was hopefully the same stuff. (Mobile 1). Very friendly, seemed to have a lot of work and knowledgeable to my questions. If everything goes well this drive cycle I will definitely go back in 5,000 miles.

Excellent service and great prices. I wont bring my cars anywhere else. Not sure why theres a 1 star review. Pretty sure she reviewed the wrong shop as they have never charged for diagnosis of a check engine light.

Get my gas there quite frequently. They people running it are friendly. And if you use a card the price stays the same.
