Love the service here. Guys are superb and know all their stuff! Been bringing my cars here for years. Frankie did a lot of electrical work on my Suburban and he is grade A with his knowledge and expertise. Highly recommend this shop. They have Been in business for a long time and there is a reason for that.

I ve had my car serviced and inspected here. I m so impressed with the customer service, they re always so friendly and helpful. The pricing is also really reasonable for the great quality. Totally recommend!

Various members of my family have been taking our cars to Allen for many years. Brothers does honest and excellent work. I've moved out of and back into the area numerous times over the years but if I'm able to I have my cars maintained by Brothers.

I bought a car with a rebuilt title from Brothers in early 2022. Since then, I've put 40k miles on it with minimal issues. I've had to do some shocks, a sway bar link, spark plugs, but nothing out of the ordinary. They're definitely running an honest business. They provided me with photos of the car before it was repaired and documentation of the repair. The body was very well repaired but my only critique is that some of the interior trim was damaged. They set me up with a great set of tires and plenty of meat on the brake pads. However, it didn't look like the rotors were ever replaced. I had to do pads and rotors about 35k miles after I bought the car. The price was decent enough and I desperately needed a car at the time. I'll add that they also went to the CT DMV for me and registered the car with no hassle. So long as you know what you're getting into, I would not hesitate to purchase a rebuilt car from Brothers. I expect to keep the car for another 100k miles.

My family has gotten our cars inspected at Brothers for years and they've always been quick and really nice to work with. When our Nana's car needed an oil change, Alan was gracious enough to find an opening so my sister and I could bring her car in.... And on top of that, we were even able to get a light fixed and her car inspected all in one trip. These guys are professional and just as kind. My vehicle broke down on vacation . Fortunately, we were able to get it towed home and got a rental. When we got back, I called Brothers. They did not have an opening for about 7 days. This was nice though, as I reached out to another garage and they did not give me a scheduled appointment, instead telling me to drop off the car with the keys inside, leaving a note with what was wrong. I did not like this. I kept my appointment with Brothers, and sure enough, they called me the same day I dropped it off to give me a diagnosis and price. Originally, it was 561 dollars to replace a rear brake line. Once they got it on the lift and started with the line, they noticed the drivers side strut was completely broken. This was discouraging as it had to be fixed. The car was simply not drivable as the strut literally came apart on the lift. They price now went to $1340. As they got the struts taken off, they noticed the drivers side, where you attach the strut, was completely rotted out. The total was now $1583. This was becoming a nightmare. Everyone's worst dream about going to the garage. I began to feel scammed. However, I went to the garage to discuss this with them. They brought me into the garage and showed me the car on the lift. Everything they had told me was true. They probably saved the life of not just myself but my wife and kids as well. The car was still completed the next day by lunch. They called and texted a virtual invoice. The pricing was mostly labor. About $560 I'm parts and over a thousand in labor. I did not like that they did not have an hourly rate. It's just a cost for the job. I feel that their pricing is a little high. This is the only reason they got 4 out of 5 stars. Also, the garage hours are currently only 8 to 4:30 Monday - Friday, which is a little inconvenient if you work a full-time day job like myself. Overall, I would definitely go back again. Frank, the owner is the nicest guy I've ever dealt with in a garage. He also gave me peace of mind, letting me look over the car, and showing pictures of deep down inside where the problems were.

Bought 2 cars there never had a problem with the cars. My father in law bought one there, still working. If you want a car that works and a dealer that supports you in case anything happens, this is the place to go!

They are amazing!!! I been going here for years and they are one of the most trustworthy auto shop I know.I would recommend them to everyone. Always about making sure their customers are taken care of. And everytime I was crunch for time they got me in right away with little to no wait time. I can't even explain how amazing they all here. Worst customer service/experience I have ever had. Was told told to fix an issue with my vehicle to get a sticker. Took my money and once I fixed the issue that was asked he wouldn t return my messages. Left several at the office with no phone call back. Finally I scheduled an appointment weeks later for him to completely stand me up without an even a phone call to reschedule. Never will go back. friend bought a hyundai a few years back from them, gas cap light was on and was to be fixed before the sale was complete. fast forward two years we have to go to emissions again and it fails for that light being on, i take apart the gauge cluster and find tape over the light, light was on during test drive so the tape wasn't there at first... Thanks guys incase your tech still works there and wants to know the car had the wrong year wiring harness in it but don't worry i figured it out.it was a 2010 black 2door hyundai accent purchased almost 4 years ago on the date of this review, nobody else has worked on said car since buying it from the shop i do all my own repairs for my household, which is why i found the tape over the light VERY concerning. after the test ride 4 years ago i asked for them to fix the cap light, the passenger side window switch and alittle plastic bit plastic in the center of the dash. probably would have asked for the shop to fix it again but the tape INSIDE the gauges was so unprecedented that wasn't even an option. Also car was registered in CT not MA but bought in MA as far as i know there is an emissions waver in CT not sure how it is in mass but i always assumed you either did that or illegally swapped the ecu into another car.I just cant understand how else the tape could have gotten INSIDE there, light was on for the test drive, off for the sale and nobody else has touched the car in that respect since, did you maybe sub the work out to another shop?Service: Electrical repair

Beautiful! Best thorough job. Organized documentation and explanation of the work done! I felt well cared for! The whole place was very clean and had something for everyone to relate to even a fish tank! I would recommend this place to all my best friends because I'm confident they will be put at easy about the job will be well done

I went to my dealer to have a diagnostic done because I thought I was having transmission issues. They gave me a quote of $2000 with a list of things to do BEFORE they could diagnose the real issue. I thanked them and said I'm going to get other quotes. I came to Brother's from a family recommendation. Alan was who handled my quote request. He was very professional, detailed in his explanations, his mechanic explained why I didnt need a lot of the work done and was able to bring my total down to $768 with a coupon of $25 deducted as well. I had my front hub and bearings replaced and 2 filters replaced. I went in at 9am left it there and got a call around 530 to say it was ready for pickup. My car sounds and feels good again without the grinding noise. Quick easy and great service. I will absolutely be going to them again.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance

I found a car online at Brothers and traveled a little ways because it was the right price for the car I was looking for. Working with Peter was great. He made sure the car was delivered the way I wanted it and was very accommodating. I would highly recommend buying a vehicle from Peter at Brothers.Update 2/21. Bought another car from Peter at Brothers. Had a great experience. Peter held true to his word and I am very satisfied. Brothers is a very good place to do business with and I would highly recommend, again.

Very friendly & polite. Probably one of the best auto service shops I have been to, and that includes dealerships. Service writer could not be nicer, and when I spoke to the mechanic I was especially impressed. Service was awesome and the price is quite fair. I highly recommend Brothers! 2014 Mazda CX-5 was making a noise that was getting louder the more we drove it. After doing a little research and a test drive I confirmed that it was most likely a bad wheel bearing. With the cold weather and specialized tools needed for the job and on a recommendation, I decided to take it to the Brothers. After a short consultation over the phone, I was very impressed with Allen s knowledge and response. He looked up my vehicle using my license plate and from that was able to tell me where the car was made etc . He then went on to explain the entire process from diagnostic, cost of part and labor to do the repair. How they would determine if it was in fact one bearing or more how much it would cost for each one. Because I thought I might have a sticking router they Inspected my brakes an rotors and educated me about the condition of those parts. After the diagnosis he called me and made me aware that the inspection sticker had lapsed, which I was more than happy to discover that they offer that service. After the service he informed me that the vehicle was low on oil, but that they didn t add any because it was still measuring on the dip stick. Then he took the time to explain/share his knowledge how today s cars will consume consume oil, over time, under normal operation. I am so happy that I have finally found a service provider that can be trusted to do the repairs as needed, regard of if it s because I just don t have the time or lack the skill to tackle the job. Thank you, thank you, thank you! The one word that clings to everyone mind when going to get your car repaired ! TRUSTWORTHY ! YES ! Absolutely ! Not only is s Brothers Trustworthy but as Accurate as it gets, I really love the way they give you a complete diagnose of what was done or may I say completed. I Strongly Recommend Brothers who will assure you with that comfortable feeling and thought of Trustworthy there's no better feeling after having so many bad experiences with other top name shops who were out just to get your money, Brothers is not like that I assure you ! Thank you Again for showing me there are Trustworthy people in this world !

Super mgt. Great crew working respectfully on my Subaru for oil change. Later returned for Inspection Sticker, Greg did a thorough check. Owner gave me good info on air filter replacement. My recommendation is all good!!

In the end they make sure that the work is done right and that you'll be happy. Their work is guaranteed. Alan is very nice and was a pleasure to work with. While I forgot his name I want to also thank the mechanic that worked on my truck today he was very nice and made sure all was well with my truck. Thank you.

Great service here. Bought a 11 year old used Buick & level of professionalism and service mirrors that of a new car dealership. They have their own service dept w/ ASE certified mechanics, take care of registry & everything. I am a former used car dealer myself & this is where I sent my own 70 year old mother when she was looking. Peter is great to deal w/. 5 out of 5 stars all the way.

First and foremost, the customer service is above and beyond any repair shop that I have been to in the area. The owner Al, took time to hear what my vehicle issues were and sent a mechanic to investigate the issues. I left with a detailed estimate of what was needed. The vehicle was repaired and I had it back in less than 24 hours from when I dropped it off. Upon picking up my vehicle, there was a list of other issues that the mechanics had found while working on my car. No surprise changes or unauthorized repairs. I will certainly return here for future repairs on my vehicles. I highly recommend Brother's. You get what you pay for.

I recently got a quote for service from the dealer of the manufacturer of my vehicle and then went to Brothers for a second opinion. They didn't feel I needed ALL the work the dealer was recommending but the work they agreed I needed, they quoted me 30% less than the dealer. They thoroughly explained everything in great detail as to what my older vehicle needed for service and what to watch out for. Nice family business and pet friendly :) I got courteous service, in a timely manner and they are very contentious of ones time and money. I highly recommend Brothers for ALL of your automotive needs.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Bought and got my car service there. Alan and Frank are excellent! And all of the great mechanics in the back. They make the wait not a drag by having a coffee/tea/cocoa machine, water, and allow you to stream to their Chromecast on their TV to watch what you like! The waiting room is a treasure trove of vintage car, car repair, signs and 50s memorabilia. I haven't even gotten to the service. Best rates around, 2 year/24k mile warranty that covers the part and labor. Alan and Frank explain in lamens terms what they are doing and include print out diagrams to show everything being done. They even go above and beyond. Had my car towed on Friday at 2pm, mind you the Friday before New Years weekend!! I needed it for that weekend, and they stayed an hour and a half after closing to fix it. They left the keys with auto sales that is open Saturday morning to pick it up and allowed me to pay over the phone. If that isn't going above and beyond to help and be understanding of the customer, I don't know what is! Thank you so much Brother's for the excellent and stress free service, kindness and understanding. You have a life long customer and I will recommend you guys to everyone who asks if they need their car fixed or a great used car.

We went to Brothers car care a couple of weeks ago and met Peter, we saw a few cars online and wanted to see and drive them. Not knowing us and after his short explanation of what he did for business, he let us drive all the cars we wanted and to take as much time with each of them as we needed. He didn't hound us in any way, only to answer the questions we had for each vehicle. In fact he doesn't employ a salesman. What a great experience for shopping for used cars. He was completely up front with us and we bought a car from him before leaving. We recommend the business to everyone who is looking for a reasonable car for reasonable dollars. Heidi and Ken

Love this place for lots of reasons: sharp/certified mechanics that explain what the problems are; and provide supporting documentation (educational); simple scheduling; dog friendly environment with an awesome waiting room - coffee and classic music and more while you wait. Alan has established a nice, clean operation. I highly recommend Brothers for everything from oil changes to major repairs.

Always had great service. Had an oil change and they charged me $246. I've always paid around $125 with them now all of a suddenThe manufacturer's change oil so they went by what they said. I have no problem with that but they should have called me and said the oil change is going to cost meAlmost double than what I usuall charged. He said he could credit my card if i thought that was fair. I told him its up to him. He didnt credit my card. I will do my own oil changes from now on. Time to look for a new place to bring my cars. Im sure they dont care at all.Service: Oil change

Excellent service!! Had my car in and out very quick, everyone was super nice and informative. They even took pictures of what was wrong with my car to explain to me, prices were great and did a great job on my car. Definitely would recommend!
