I recently incurred some damage to my tires while driving through the construction zone on South Maple Street. Having known the (previous) owner for several years, I figured I would just bring it up to Al's, instead of TOWN FAIR or FIRESTONE, and give the little guy some business. No good deed goes unpunished, however - they fleeced me $80 to patch two tires and even made a big deal about changing out a simple blown headlight, which Tony Bruno & Sons @ DeGray's would probably have done for nothing. I hate to do it, but next time I'll go to the large competitors - I ended paying more than twice as much at Al's Tire.

Don and the boys at Al's were so honest and upfront when I brought in my brand new (old AF) Jeep for a seriously scary death wobble. They threw it on the lift, brought me in and showed me all the potential problems, then were able to break it down piece by piece into what they could fix intermittently so I didn't have to drop loads of money at once. They were able to do several smaller repairs in attempts to fix the problem, including an alignment. When that didn't work (but still would have needed to be done in the future anyway), they suggested replacing the tires. I knew they had to be replaced anyway, so they laid out several options for me and let me choose. They had the tires on four hours later and called me, saying they took it for a successful test drive with the death wobble gone. It seriously drove like a completely different vehicle after they performed a second alignment with the new tires. I couldn't be more grateful to the team at Al's for their hard and prompt work accompanied by their honesty and diligence while trying to help me diagnose the problem. Their prices were fair and the service was outstanding. Would recommend to anyone needing any tire or alignment work!

Ace helped me outthis week when I got a cut in the sidewall of my tire the night before I had to make a 440-mile round trip to and from Maine. Arrived when they opened, and within a few hours I had two new tires and was on my way! I've come to Al's with a few different cars over the years and they have always had the tires I needed and been quick, cheerful, and able to get me back on the road!

They are the best tire place in western mass. David helped me order wheels and tires for my truck, when they came in he inspected them and test fit. Everything was perfect. Mike is very friendly and runs a great crew. If you have larger tires that are hard to balance, Angel will work his magic and get them smooth as silk.

A+++ for customer service. My daughter was en route from NY to Boston and was rear-ended on I90 in Mass late at night. She managed to get the car to a hotel in Westfield on a spare tire and a questionable front tire. I read the reviews for Al's which were very positive and called them at 8am. Owner Mike answered and after explaining the situation he said to have her bring the car in ASAP and he would take care of it (it needed two tires). Mike looked the car over, called me and put me in a new set of 4 matching tires (the car is AWD) for a very reasonable price and finished the job in about 90 minutes. Being 6 hours away I was very relieved to have the car fixed and back on the road so promptly. I highly recommend Al's !

While travelling from buffalo to Boston we had a flat on the 90 and called Al's. After we limped in on the spare, he was able to get us back on the road in about 30 minutes. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely send him more business if it wasn't 500 miles from home.

These guy's are absolutely awesome! Had to get a new tire, and was on a tight budget AND asked them to check another tire to see if it could be kept or needed to be replaced, they checked ot for me free of charge and quickly. They were quick, honest, and very pleasant! Don was the guy I dealt with mostly and he was super helpful! Highly recommend these guys for all and any tire needs!!

They aligned my truck with worn out steering components and allowed the truck to leave with brand new $1,600 tires . Will not be going back . Also charged me for an alignment and never touched by tie rods somehow magically align do not recommend

This place is amazing! Small but makes you feel very welcoming when you bring your car in for work. Sage, my precious Subaru, needed tires desperately and a quick phone call got me an appointment that day. The grumpy old man was there (just kidding Mike) but all the work was being done by Dave Fassen at the front desk. He handles telephone, estimates, welcoming customers and assigning jobs to the very busy crew in the garage. You can watch your auto being worked on! Prices are affordable for my budget, which is really tight. Thanks guys. I recommend Al's for repairs and tires.

Highly recommend this place for your auto needs. Mike is a great guy extremely knowledgeable and honest. I had two flat tires on my truck dropped it off at night and it was ready the next day. Mike got in touch with me and let me know the tires just needed to be resealed. I had all 4 tires resealed his prices are very reasonable and his service is second to none.

Amazing group of guys got me right in for my all season tires to be mounted. Was in and out. They even let me know of a minor issue with the tires which was very much appreciated. They did great work, were friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommend them.

Mike and his team are good people . You re treated like a friend, not a number. Always a GENUINE hello and how are you today . Good tires, prices, and service. I stopped going to the big-box tire stores about 8-10 years ago, and have been going to Al s Tire ever since, no regrets. I think I ve bought 4-5 full sets of tires from Mike. Every set of tires I ve bought have been great! I ll never go to anyone else again. Mike cares .JB

Had to get an alignment on an older C3500HD, staff are very knowledgeable and recommended replacing the sleeves prior to aligning due to rust and age. They even brought me into the shop to show me how bad they were. Wait times are minimal and they are very efficient. Would trust these guys on my family van and with any large vehicle! They truly care and know their stuff! Keep it up Mike and team!

Always fair. Always great service. If in a rare instance mike can't fit you in, he ll give you an estimate on how much the work should cost so you know whether you're getting ripped off by someone else. They all work hard to get you the most budget friendly solution to car troubles.

Friendly, fair, locally owned small businesses like Al's are not only a credit to their profession, but to their community as well. They are always the type to give extra time to each person to lay out different options of work and products so that every customer can feel informed and able to make a decision that is best for them, their vehicle, and it's specific use. A great group to do business with.

Highly recommended! Al's Tire is the only tire shop I'll ever go to. Mike and his team always go above and beyond. They get their work done by the times they say, they do amazing work, and their prices are extremely reasonable. Honesty is something that I feel like is hard to come by these days in an auto shop, but these guys are as honest as it gets. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. Keep up the good work!

Great, friendly service. Once they did a wheel alignment for me for a Honda Civic. For a Honda Odyssey, they very quickly put on new tires recently and rotated them. I had another set of tires and rims for an old Fiat which they seamlessly put on.

The gentleman working the counter was nice. However, David, one of the mechanics was arrogant and condescending when he checked my car.I asked him a similar question then the previous one and he gave an attitude. I don't give my money to constipated individuals and/or businesses.There are so many other auto shops in Hampden County. Go somewhere that appreciates your business.

Called in for a 53' trailer busted tire. Gave me estimate. Driver arrived , they were done within 30 minutes. Thanks to Mike and his crew for the great job.

All I can say is what goes around comes around.Damaged underneath my car while jacking it up changing a tire. My fault I saw him do it, but I said nothing. And of course they didn't either. Sad part is I knew him forever. Didn't mean a thing.
