Rick and his staff have always performed quality work on my vehicle for about 8 years now. They go above and beyond fixing every problem I've ever had with my vehicle. I even had bumper and headlight damage and they fixed both so well,I can barely see where the damage was! They could have told me to go to a body shop but instead they fixed both issues perfectly.I always know I'm getting a great deal at Preferred Auto. I have never been overcharged for any service or repair. They always give me an estimate before any work is performed and the final cost is always less than the estimate! If you're looking for any auto repairs or service, Preferred Auto is the place to go! I was referred to this garage by my co-workers, and other people that highly recommend it. Making an appointment was easy. Staff was very friendly & accommodating. I was really stressed because money is tight, and I needed brakes. I was so happy that my car was fixed , and the price was affordable. I'll consider them "my garage" from now on. You can trust this place. They value their customers. They appreciate you, and don't treat you like a number.

Great place to bring your car. They get it right the first time. very fair prices, and very trustworthy. Also very busy, they are usually booked up about 1 to 2 weeks ahead. So call for an appointment to make sure your car is repaired asap. I have owned my auto repair shop for about 3 decades, I'm out of the game now, but this is the only place I will take my cars. to.

I know I m a few months late on my review but I wanted to share my experience with this company. I am a carnival operator who had a truck break down during the big E and was referred to this company by locals, called them up and told them what was going on and told me to bring it in Wednesday. Initially told me it could be up to three or two days before he even had a chance to look at it. Mid day Wednesday he called me telling me he had looked at it and found the issues, he also said he had found a minor issue and wanted to know if we wanted him to fix it. I said yes and thanked him for his honesty. Thursday morning I got a call saying that the truck was ready to be picked up. To my surprise the job that I was told was gonna take several days was already done. When we got there that morning he went through everything he did, also told us about a few more things that could become a problem in the future. He then thanked us for the business and wished us good luck. We couldn t have been happier with the speed, politeness, and affordability with the services provided by this business. I personally would return to this business and would recommend it to any of the locals even though we are not from the area.Services: Engine repair, Oil change

These guys are honestly the best auto repair place around. If you want the work on your case or truck done right and a thorough check of your vehicle, these are the guys to have that work done. They are honest and have never overcharged me for anything ever!!

My new auto shop for all my cars definently. The team at preferred auto body really helped me out when i needed it. My new used car bacame a major headache. long story short the place i bought it from is not a good place to be buying used cars. I brought my car down to preferred auto. They fixed up my car to such a better condition than when i bought the car. They are reasonably price, straight to the point, and will actually help you out when they can. Great ownership and staff. Will treat you like family. They do it right and do not push unnecessary repairs. They go out of their way to keep your car in the best shape you can afford. That being said, they will be honest if it's simply not safe to hold off on a repair. Awesome place... go see Rick & his team!

Preferred auto s name fits their customer service and work quality exactly how it should. PREFERRED. they have fair prices, amazing service, and know exactly what they are doing. The customer service is unbeatable, and they will take care of any problem you have. 10/10. One of the best shops in Western Massachusetts.

Rick gets the job done and does it right for a great price the first time. Can always depend on them if I need my truck done quick . highly recommended and have referred many people here and all have the same thoughts as me. You won't be disappointed.

CROOKS! I brought my car there for an alternator issue. The price was Great, but they took very long with my vehicle. I went there to see what the issue was and I saw my radiator hose folded, I didn t think anything of it, but after waiting 3 days for my car they call me to tell me it was the wrong alternator. So I go there to bring the correct alternator, and after a day they call me to tell me it s all set... I drive my car and radiator fluid was leaking... I call them to tell them the issue they tell me bring it in and we will fix it. They call me 2 days later to pick it up, and they charged for their mistake the hose that was folded cracked and I was charged a extra 200 for that. I turn my car on and the belt was making noises, the air conditioner belt was making noise, I told them my car wasn t making any noises when I brought it in they sprayed something and it went away, after using my air conditioner, my air conditioner belt broke... and my car was driving funny also, I brought my car to another mechanic for them to tell me that my transmission fluid plug was loosened. Again my car did not have any issues but the alternator issue, i believe they sabotaged my car so they can keep bringing it to them so they can get more money off of me it s ridiculous. I would not bring your car to this establishment, this so called business they have. I see a lot of people here have good things to say about them I m sure they are family and friends that are doing this. They are thieves!

Rick and his team have always taken care of me, right from the beginning. I started taking my vehicles there after my car had broken down one day and they were the closest repair shop to where I was. I was good to go the next day and the cost was a quarter of what it would have been at the dealership! Since then I've ditched the dealer and I go to Preferred. Thier work is top notch and the cost is extremely reasonable. You won't be disappointed!

The words "Honest" and "Mechanic" don't usually fit well together. You have nothing to worry about here. Rick, the owner, is a highly experienced car tech, and a guy who keeps his word. I have taken my car there 4 times. Each time I was surprised at how reasonable the charges were and the work was flawless. I usually recommend no one, BUT, This is a gem of a repair shop.

Lots I can say ! My family has been going to them for years they have helped us with multiple cars. You can t beat their prices. My most recent car was a Bmw, they helped me with getting the car ready for inspection and again for the price I couldn t be more thankful. Rick, Pat and everyone are amazing thanks Preferred Auto !

For traveling out of town and blowing a Mercedes Benz pully and serpentine belt on I-90. I was in need of a quick fix. While searching Rick was recommended by other garages that couldn t touch my car on a Sunday he pulled it off in the morning! Very pleased with his quality of work and professionalism. Would highly recommend Perferred Auto to anyone looking for a great price and quality service.

We were told our car needed a new head gasket for $2,500. Took it to Pat at Preferred. He quoted us a price of $1,300 for a new head gasket. Come to find out it only needed a fan relay switch for $155. Pat is the best!!! He has a new customer for life.

The service at Preferred Auto is beyond compare and second to none. Rick and his team always went above and beyond to diagnosis car problems, offered multiple solutions, and performed all work at the fairest, possible prices. Often times, when you get a good deal on auto repair, you have to wait an exorbitant amount of time to get your car back. At Preferred Auto, their estimates for completion times were always right on the money. Now, we wish Preferred Auto had a counterpart in southern California! Is a place where the employees are the best workers. They ate corteous ,friendly, polite, respectfulll people and very hard workers. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

You won't find another shop that's any better. The idiot with the 1 star review has a ton of of them on his profile, fake. Rick and the crew work tirelessly to get everything done, 3 different cars this month have gone there each with no issue.

I have a new vehicle and had problems with the vehicle drifting, pulling left to right on the road. I brought the vehicle to the dealer over four times and they could not correct the issue.Rick corrected each issue and at a fair price!Thanks!Ken

I was having trouble starting my car for about a month when i had my radio ,car seat warmers. etc on auxillary..assumed battery..had battery tested at advanced auto.told me batterry was in good condition!! 2 weeks later i needed to get a jump and brought it to preffered auto..told RICK it must be my alternator crapping out!! Found out it was just my battery?? They installed a new one and havent had an issue since..they are very HONEST and my charge always has been very $$$ reasonable!!..HIGHLY RECCOMED!!

Since I got out of my 2003 ford into my 2015 nissan I don't get to visit half as often as I would like. I'll be back as soon as I need to.Always fair prices and great service.

I will never go back there and never recommend them to anyone. Not only did that misdiagnosis my truck, when I called them to tell them what the problem actually was they brushed it off with a snotty "okay". Seems they make good part changers but have no ability to diagnose a problem.

I brought my pickup truck in to get a leaf spring replaced and my shock rotted out and they fixed that aswell, it was in and out in a day and price didn t break the bank, was very happy with the service and how kind the owner Rick was, definitely will be going back here for any repairs
