Two stars for the night before, was sold wrong rear wiper. Indifferent service, bad people skills.Today was super service, counter person was very helpful, determined the issue, sold and installed new wiper. Five stars.

I had sticky tree sap all over my new car and I went to the auto zone and asked if they sell anything for sticky sap the employer showed me something that s supposed to help remove sticky sap and I purchased it. Then he went to my car and showed me how to use it and told me once I m done to go to a car wash so I did exactly as he said to help remove the sticky sap and that ended up leaving huge scarf marks all over the windows all over my car I went to the car wash afterwards and that didn t help at all. I returned back to the auto zone and he employee there told me what I purchased was for gas not to remove sticky sap. Now the employee Hector R that works there complety ruined my brand new car it left scuff marks that won t ever remove.* update the Manager reached out to me regarding that situation and he offered to help clean my car and he remove the scarf marks on my windows and gave me a free washcloth and glass cleaner and free sap remover so that I can finish cleaning my whole car when I came home.

Had gotten pine sap on my car, went to Advance to see about getting something to remove it. Hector recommended something, then proceeded to go outside and clean the car for me. Spent a good half hour getting everything off. Even cleaned the windshield for me. Great job and much appreciated!

Safe to say I will never be coming to an advanced auto ever again, he tried to tell me that my 1987 1st generation Honda CRX does not exist because his computer only shows it was made in only in 1988. You must ve gotten it in Japan GOODBYE ADVANCED. -1 star

Great service, great inventory, great prices!I went in most recently for an engine air filter for my 1999 Ford F150. I went up to the front counter, and the gentleman ran back and forth several times to confirm which of the 3 options were in stock, and at what prices. (I would've found it myself back in the old days when they used to have the parts books on the floor, but he pleasantly literally did the leg work for me.) He found two in stock and I picked the one for ~$25 vs. ~$80 at the competition (with a shipping delay).I've also gotten a few other things there, and have also been amazed at the knowledge of the younger associate.Great team!No more business for the competition.Update 2023.03.09: I researched and ordered online a pair of TRICO ICE�Winter Wiper Blades. They were junk. So, I hesitantly went back hoping to get store credit for blades that actually worked. Not only did they delightfully and quickly find good replacements, but Scully even installed them! They seem to be very short-staffed except for the guys hanging out in back and laughing, but Scully and the older gentleman (I didn't get his name) who helped me back July of last year (the above post) are awesome!

I really had a very personalized experience today at Advance Auto Parts. I stopped in with a headlight out. And was assisted immediately by Hector, who is an absolutely stellar employee. He really went above and beyond to make sure that my headlight got replaced. I had accidentally pulled out my high beams instead of my headlight and Hector went right to work helping me. He spent a good 20 minutes outside removing my headlight and helping me get it back on. He is truly an example of excellent customer service. 10 stars. Thank you Hector!!!

The employees were nice and respectful; helped me with finding out what size wiper blade I needed for my vehicle. I also picked up some Mother's quick detailer and wheel cleaner. Easy in and out

Well staffed. Very knowledgeable with various parts. They offer free install of wipers, batteries, bulbs. Also free testing of your battery and starting system. Others I've been to the staff will roll their eyes when you request one of these services, but not here. Always willing to help. Also will do the engine light check and advise what problems may or may not be there.

I must be honest and say I hardly work on my cars anymore, but back in my tuner days, I used to visit the auto parts store monthly, if not weekly.I stopped in to get some oil to top off the engine in my S550 before its next service next week, and the level of courtesy and professionalism I received from Eric was unreal. Never have I experienced this from my many years of buying car parts or fluids. He even offered to help pour, and he also asked the guy in front of me to help put his wipers on.This guy deserves a raise. As I read through some reviews, I saw his name mentioned several times, along with other staff members too. I hope this is a reflection of management and its leadership.By far the best location to purchase parts for your car. While it may be a long time before I set foot in an auto parts store, I ll be sure to go out my way and visit this one.

Good value for the price for the windshield wiper blades I bought, and Eric even put them on for me, free of charge. I'm handicapped and have trouble reaching that far. Definitely going there from now on for replacements!

I had an excellent experience with 1 specific employee. Tina from the West Springfield store! I needed 2 specific parts and NO ONE was able to understand the diagnosis paper I brought in from Honda... Except Tina! I made the mistake of going in on her day off to order the second part..And the wrong part was sent. I went back when she was working, and she took care of everything! I will only go to her for my car issues and would absolutely go back! I will also definitely tell others with car part needs go to Advanced and see Tina!

Great help from the staff here. Had a question about my anti-freeze and not only did she help me with my question but came out to look at my car an fill the antifreeze for me as well. Very thankful from someone who doesnt know much about cars :) (atleast mechanically speaking). Deffinitly will go back to this store which is way across town for me. Well worth the trip!!

Went to the big e on Saturday and my car started to overheat was going to call a tow n then went to this AutoZone n Eric did an amazing job help me fix my Honda CR-V right before closing time he went above and beyond to help me get home with my kids ..awesome sales man n a very good mechanic thank u so much for your help ...I will go back anytime that I a'm in area n thank him again great job Eric!!!!!!

As a DIY guy is sometimes hard to shop without feeling like a dummy but the staff here is great at answering any questions without any judgement. It all starts from the top and the manager who's name I don't remember but I think is Jerry has always been super helpful knowledgable and friendly. Parts are good at a fair price.

That man Noah is such a help and was straight forward with my battery light in the island pond rd store and Brian in the store on route 20 not even a minute off of elm st in west spfld was very patient with me on a wiper blade issue and I couldn't see any sign of an attitude which I as a retailer and also a customer look for. Very genuine sales reps.

Store managers shouldn t be tossing store credit cards at customers. If you go there expecting store credit be prepared for an attitude from the sales clerks.

The price was a little high, but Jeremy was great. He installed the battery in the freezing cold for me because I didn't have my tools. Overall great experience. Thanks Jeremy!

Good store with great service. They help you with whatever car model you have and direct you where everything in the store is. All employees are knowledgeable about their job and service customers nicely. Everyone is friendly aswell.

I've been using these guys a lot for Diagnostics. They have their own tool that can explain why you are check engine light is on. It's a free service. A lot cheaper than the $99 diagnostic fee that I get from a lot of mechanics.

There are a lot of places for an automotive DIY'er like myself in town to get parts. My son and I spent yesterday changing the rear breaks on his Subaru and the oil in my daughter-in-law's Prius. As with all projects, there were issues as we went through the day. We ended up making three extra trips to see Eric at Advanced. Between he and Scully we got the jobs done in a timely and safe manner. They were both really helpful with advice, experience, and patience. These guys had the store running like clockwork. Customer service is all about relationship building and Eric and Scully have built a great foundations in this store. When we were leaving Eric was out in the cold and dark changing a battery in an older guys 2012 Ford Escape!!! You will understand what that takes when you YouTube it!As always, just go there. Give them a shot. I have NEVER been disappointed.

I had to change my review due to the fact that I have been going here quite often lately. I wrote the review before about the wrong place the place that I do not like going through is actually AutoZone in West Springfield Advance Auto Parts is a lot better place the prices are a lot cheaper and the people are a lot friendlier and they actually seem to know what they are doing and don't direct you to other auto parts stores if they do not have the part they seem to be able to get it for you within 24 hours not too shabby if I do say so myself

Great customer service, Scully assisted me, he has a gd personality. He explained my batt issue corrution in the area. So i purchased a new batt, he installed it, cleaned the area. Ty Scully!

Amazing service, had to return and item and the worker there was about to leave his shift, but stayed back and helped us make the return even though there were complications because of different systems used here and down south.
