Great customer service by the 2 gentlemen at the desk on Sunday, February 25th. They were really a great help with my windshield wiper for my Subaru. I wish I had taken their names because I would say look for both of them when you go in there. They were totally awesome! It was probably about noon time.

The AutoZone workers at this store are always professional, helpful and willing to help. I especially want to give a shout out to Robert who was there today -- he jumped in to first test our battery and then when he noticed it was loose in its spot, he went to get the right tool to tighten it. Big thank you to Robert!

I called in for a battery replacement and asked if they could install it , and got a positive answer , so I drove there and as promised the gentleman did the transaction quickly and went outside and installed it , perfect job , very quick . Advanced Autoparts cheated me saying they had the battery , but when I got there they told me it was out of stock, then they directed me to their different chain store 10 miles away , but when I got there , the arrogant guy told me they wouldn t install it . Suck! Will never go there. AutoZone is going to be my first choice from now on .

8:13 am. Doors open. Phones ringing off the hook. Only employee is in the back talking on his personal phone talking about the phone going off and some other drama. And I said hello I need help and he didn't respond. But I can hear his conversation on the other side of the panel. I said hello I need help. He said someone should be out there. I said we'll theres not which he replies he's probably out there smoking where he don't belong. So I guess I'll wait until someone decides to work. Why open at 7:30 if no one is actually working in the store. So unprofessional.

Got hard sold & straight up yelled at, got battery acid water on arms as the guy made me bring my dead battery inside for him, didn t get a receipt until someone googled how, and overall an awful experienceThis is the first bad review I ve ever had to write, and it took a lot of bad in a row. After getting hard sold a 2nd tier battery (the Econ battery being playing Russian roulette with an automatic ) by the staff (guy with a goatee tied up with rubber bands) who appeared to be the manager, my receipt wouldn t print, and the associate helping basically shrugged and walked away, leaving me with a $225 battery on the counter waiting for someone to help me install it. Eventually, the manager said he would install it if I made him, and legitimately berated me for making him work . I m fine with banter but I straight up got yelled at for needing help putting the battery in my car and for my choice of battery, didn t appreciate that.When replacing my battery & blasting a cig, he told me to bring my dead battery inside for him, which leaked soluble battery fluid all over my arms on the way. The more helpful associate inside let me know that it would eventually blister off my skin/my tattoo if I didn t wash it off fast. After finding/using the staff bathroom, they tried to return my core charge , a $22 redemption for returning my dead battery, but it took the helpful associate look up and figure out how to print a copy of my receipt. In all fairness, the battery is installed (though it looks like not very securely) and my car seems to be working, at the cost of $202 and a bit of watered down battery acid on my arms.I would not advise visiting this store, I m certainly not going to again, so let s hope this battery stays in place and continues working.

Didn t get his name, but the guy there was a great help. I needed to remove the fuse box cover in my car and he lent me a flathead and light since it was dark out. Very knowledgeable dude and customer service is top notch

Went in tonight trying to find a brake light for my 2003 Tacoma. Could not find one on the rack so asked the cashier for help. Anthony looked up the bulb type and went to the rack but did not have one in stock. I said thanks and started to walk away when he said to wait a minute. He asked me how many I wanted, and I said if they are that hard to find, two. He handed me two loose bulbs. I asked "how much" and he replied nothing - they were loose from his back stock. What great customer service. I won't go anywhere else!!!

Very nice place. Professional and friendly staff. Got my new car battery at around 250 dollars and installed by the staff for free. I really appreciate that because I was there at 8:30 pm and it took almost an hour to replace the car battery. I was worried that I might need to replace the car battery myself, but it was nice to use their help!!

The employees need to respect the customer and not talk about them in Spanish. Because I'm not Arabic I'm from Boston and my parents are from Puerto Rico. Shame on you all.

Car battery died in their parking lot. I asked for them to plug up my car to charge my battery. Was denied. Had to sit in their parking lot, watch the workers leave while I waited for a tow truck.

Terrible customer service. The employees seemed to not know anything about cars and no one was interested in helping. Not really committed to helping the customer or going above and beyond. Talked amongst themselves while I waited. The first employee went back inside when he was going to help me find power steering fluid but then just walked away and started talking to a friend. The employee picked up his cell phone and then said to someone else to help me. I had to explain again and the guy asked me a question about my car I didn t know. Instead of replying he actually just ignored me and then asked his mechanic friend who was on his way out store to look at his AC and walked away from me mid conversation. I was the only customer and this is the lowest tier of customer service I ve ever experienced and I won t be back. The manager should be ashamed of these employees

John and Rachis are super, as are another couple of gentlemen. One "manager" Gadiel (or Dariel?) who wears a hoodie, is not only clueless, he can be straight rude. It only takes one bad apple, and this guy sure is that bad apple.If you can stear away from him (AutoZone should really let him go) you'll likely find helpful service.Unfortunately however, the store is second or third behind the "hub" store in Saugus, such that it has very limited inventory.THANK YOU JOHN for your kind help this morning

Moses was great and helped me find the right wiper blades and put them on my car for me! I m always hesitant to go into car stores as a young woman because I m not always treated very well but Moses couldn t have been better! He was knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient!

Walked in and waited patiently while the associate was on the phone with two customers, and after he was available, told him I needed to test my battery. He literally barked at me, I can t do that. I m alone, no one else showed up for work and I can t leave the store! As if I should know and shouldn t have expected a service they offer. I looked at him for a second and he just immediately went to the next customer. No apology, no acknowledgment I was even there. Zero customer service here. He literally told me to go to O Reillys down the street. So here I am buying a battery from them.

Luis was so amazing, he went over and beyond. He should really get promoted or raise his pay. YOU NEED PEOPLE LIKE HIM!!!He is such a people person and so very helpful. He said that he has been working there for over 3 years now. I would definitely come back if people like him work there. Thanks again Luis!

Hi Auto Zone Management.First, I m not sure if you cover this region or not but I want to give acknowledgment to your store operations in Somerville and Quincy as the service there has been Grade A, in my most recent interaction! Specifically, Felix from Somerville and Nelson in Quincy were overall phenomenal!! I really hope they get a public acknowledgement from this review because I was really impressed with their level of service and going the extra mile, trying their best to help me.However, this was not my experience at your Watertown location. Here is some context before I go into the complaint. Last week or so I came into your Somerville location to buy a caliper for my vehicle, I was sold the wrong caliper, without a box, which wasn t my issue because I was able to find the right one, at a totally different company. That said, this week/ weekend I tried to return the wrong caliper, back to Auto Zone in Quincy after my Walmart run, and initially, I couldn t because of my split tendered payment, as my brother made a partial payment and your employees were asking for us to both be present in the store (which is totally understandable). That said, this weekend, my brother and I were running errands and we decided to bring the caliper and receipt to your Watertown location, because we were in the area.Here is my issue, on 9/10/23 around 3:40pm when I first walked in the Watertown location, no one was at the front and we had to call the gentleman on duty with a red shirt and ask him is he could assist us. I believe his name was Jason, and I believe he was of Asian descent, my apologies if I am incorrect). He seemingly, did not want to help us and he was not polite as he told us he could not return the caliper we had, with a receipt because the caliper didn t have a box and he didn t want to deal with labeling the caliper or taking the hit . I proceeded to ask to speak with the manager, because I have a product that I purchased from your company with a receipt and was sold the wrong part, per your policy, I am eligible for a refund.The manager gray shirt on duty, was very kind and respectful and seemed like he was working hard, i.e. putting merchandise away on the floor as he was rolling around a cart of some sort, he said he doesn t mind returning it but he would appreciate it if we had a box, I told him I have a similar box in my trunk if that would suffice and then, here comes Jason (red shirt employee rudely, continuing to say he won t return it because he would take a hit and he doesn t want to go through the hassle of labeling the item. At this point, it started sounding like my brother and I were talking in circles and we weren t getting any traction to a resolve. The gray shirt looked at his employee and said to us it would be better If we took the part back to Somerville.My problem is not that I had to drive from Watertown to Somerville and then back to Quincy to return a part that was incorrectly sold to me, my problem is the type of piss poor customer service I received from Jason (red shirt on duty), today in Watertown. I am beyond appalled and I will never shop at your Watertown location again if he s working there! In fact, I will continue to spread the world of how poorly I was treated. Luckily, Nelson was able to help me in Quincy! I will continue to stay on top of this kind of service in my neighborhood.

Update: Spoke with DM on return. Went to another store and was refunded. Customer support and follow up about the issue was great.TL;DR Amoral headlight kit made headlights worse after a few hours. Manager refused to think about helping/return/exchange. Employees were pretty helpful though.

Extremely rude customer service by employees that visibly have no interest in being there. Go to O'Reilly Auto Parts instead. They have a bigger selection and a friendlier staff just down the road.
