Professional, knowledgeable, and very fair with prices. Toyota wanted $1,600 for a tie rod swap, chuck only charged $70. Gonna have my wife leave a 5 star review too since this our shared work car.

Most honest mechanic I've ever met. Fixes it right and warranties his work. I trust him with my 98,000 supercharged Jaguar...what does that tell you!

This is my favorite automotive mechanic of all time, and thankfully, I have had some really great mechanics!! It's a warm and friendly family establishment. Reliable, trustworthy, honest, impeccable knowledge of mechanics, affordable, and dependable. I can say enough about this business - very grateful to have this business as a resource!!!! Spare yourself from headaches and take your car to Chucks. Get it done right the first time! Thumbs up!

Ordered a part while repairing my vehicle and ended up needing the bearing pressed. Called the shop and he was more than willing to install a part I already had which alot of shops won't do. Dropped the car off at 8, had it back by 2. He got a new repeat customer for sure. Very personable

I needed a tow to a nearby repair shop and due to the current situation with social distancing was not able to ride in the truck so would have to send the car unaccompanied. I called the number listed, was greeted by a curt reply, I described the problem I was having, and again received a short, rude confirmation as if I were somehow offending the owner by politely requesting service. Upon asking for a full name for simple reasons of AAA requesting it if the car is towed unaccompanied, I was refused this information, made to seem unreasonable, and hung up on, being told not to send my car here . Pretty shocking given the other reviews which seem quite positive, but felt the need to share this incredibly unprofessional interaction. Totally unacceptable to the point of almost being funny in a bizarre way. Maybe he was having a really bad day or something, but no way to run a business.

Friendly service all around, great prices, honest workers. Quick work, easy enough to find, what else can i say? I live in New Bedford and i will continue to travel to bring my truck to this shop.

Best mechanic around, the ONLY mechanic ive ever visited that didnt try to sell me other parts and labor, i have been going to chuck for 20 years and have never been let down, if he cant do a job he will tell you straight up, HE CAN BE TRUSTED!
