Great crew here. Oil change was quick and professional. Only concern is back lot is a little small, so can get crowded if there are more than 4-5 cars waiting ahead of you.

I was hesitant to go here, and I should've gone anywhere else. Was told the screws holding the skid plate in place were rusted shut and might be broken if they tried to take them out. Told them fine I can replace the screws if need-be. After the oil change I'm shown the plate and they ripped it out of undercarriage without removing a single screw, breaking the splash shield in multiple places.When I got home I was able to remove the screws with minimal effort with a hand screwdriver. It's clear they didn't even try. To replace the part they damaged will cost over $100. It was my mistake to trust what I was being told by techs. Never again.

Fast and quick service. But a synthetic oil change for my car was $10 more than the dealer, and the dealer rotates the tires. I guess that I should be asking for up-front pricing in the future.

Just had an oil change there a couple of days ago, was pleasantly surprised at how friendly some of the staff were. They tolerated stupid questions well :-)Oil changes cost a hell of a lot more than they used to, so I approached the situation with trepidation, but their competence and experience we're definitely reassuring. Special shout-out to a gentleman named Mark who eased my fears. Hoping his manager sees this and realizes they've got a valuable employee there.

I went to this locations couple months ago. I had an oil leak so i went to the mechanic they told me my oil drain plug is broken. I only went to this place for oil change so clearly these guys broke it. Sad part is these people don't have courage to tell the customer that they broke it . I am never going to this place again and also requesting other people to no go here. They will damage your car and you will be stuck paying the huge repair bill

I've been here a bunch now and I always have a pleasant experience. Wait time are low. Service is friendly and helpful, and not pushy or anything. I had Kahj this time and he was super nice.

Was about to come in. But found out it s $$$$49 to do a tire rotation for an old car. I didn t put any less stars as I ve not spoken with anyone at this specific location. But the company representative was friendly.

Yeah. Got my 328i s oil changed here today. Drove home, napped. Just turned my car on 3 hours later and a check engine light came on. Usually I do not go to valvoline. Belmont transmissions is my go too but closed today. Im not angry, its my fault. The service was great, but cause and effect sadly no such thing as coincidences.Again great service. But if you drive European DO NOT even bother trying a routine oil change here.$1000 down the gutter on top of the oil change

My oil change was actually done quite fast in my opinion. Which again in my opinion is really where they shine here b.c. their lot was quite full upon my arrival and before I knew it my car was being taken in. The staff I interacted with were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Great oil change experience! They made a point to get me in as quickly as possible. Patrick was really nice and made recommendations without pressuring me to agree to them. **The entrance is easy to miss, but if you do, you ll be kindly directed where to go : )

Aug 11 2022************************They used to be very friendly, professional and helpful. I visited here several times and I always gave them 5 stars.But today was not good. I visited for regular inspection of my car. First, the shop was not opened at 9 a.m. because of very few or only one staff. The man who explained it recommended to me to go another Valvoline, but I returned there at 10:30 a.m..First of all, he checked all OK on the screen before his work. There were several inspection items, but he skipped them except for oil change. It's fine for wiper blades, but he didn't check a cabin air filter and battery. ( They usually showed me a small piece of paper as a battery report. But he did not showed me anything. ) I'm not sure about inside the hood of my car.I asked him to rotate tires because I thought my tires were loose, but he did not do it without any check. PSI has be checked for only one tire.My rep was dishonest and not professional. When I knew it, my oil has already drained and I could not leave.I've always been offered a great service here, but I'm very sorry that it's gone.

I stopped by to change the oil in the engine of my car. At this location:557 main st, Waltham, MA 02452Manager: John MazzeoI asked in advance if they can be changed oil here at Mercedes E320 2004. The staff said yes, no problem. after changing the oil, the computer in my car said that the oil in the engine is too much. Workers merged half a quarter, but the computer showed the same warning.I asked, what's the problem? the manager ( John Mazzeo) came up to me and said rudely that my car is too old and this is my problem! and if I do not leave right now, he will call the police! I spent there about 40 minutes of my time, paid $ 40 and after all this, I had to go to the mechanic and change the oil again!

Went here for a routine oil change two weeks ago. They filled my tire pressure while I was here, and immediately after I left the tire pressure gauge came on. I figured it might simply be adjusting, or responding to the weather changes, but it stayed on. I finally checked my tires two weeks later and discovered the valve stem on one of the tires was extremely loose and leaking air. Trying to refill the tire with air did nothing as the loose stem prevented any air retention, and only the cap kept it from going flat when fastened. I called them and explained that this stem issue had to have happened during the appointment because the gauge light was not on prior to my appointment and I had never had any issues with the stem before. They said they checked the videos and saw the tech had noted the stem was damaged. If that was actually the case, why wasn t I notified of this during the appointment? They couldn t answer that. Instead of taking any accountability or offering to fix what they broke, they instead tried to claim it must have magically broken by itself after I left, despite me nor anyone else touching the tires after the appointment. They claimed it must be because of the weather and the cars age (2012). Neither of which explain why it wasn t broken when I got there but was when I left. Luckily I was able to get a cheap valve tool and fix it myself but what TERRIBLE customer service. I will never ever go back here and advise anyone to stay away as well, unless you want them to break your car and then gaslight you about it.

Sadly, this is not a great location. I have used many valvoline locations for oil changes and never had a problem.This oil change was supposed to be easy. We had it done and then drove to a wedding 2 1/2 hours away. We after we parked the car and checked in to the hotel we returned to find oil leaking out of the car. Copious amounts of oil were flowing out of the oil pan.We called. A tech said he would drive down and check the car. We went to the wedding and left the car for him to deal with. W return hours later no note, voice mail or text message. At this point most of the oil is now pooled in the hotel parking lot.The next morning we call AAA. They tow the car back to the Valvoline store. A very reluctant manager agreed to look at the car and finally admitted that the seal gasket was not put back in. So they changed the oil again and put in the right seal no apology, no refund and no hey, here are 4 free future oil changes for your trouble. The real hero: our AAA membership.Don t go here. They had 1 job and they didn t do it.

I've been to many Valvoline locations for oil changes and they are not all equal in terms of quality of service. I have had technicians at some locations try to upsell me on services that were completely unnecessary, and damage or lose parts of my car during services.The location on Main St in Waltham has consistently provided excellent service. I have never felt pressured into purchasing additional services. Every technician that I've encountered at this location has been friendly, professional, and a straight shooter. They do a great and thorough check of all fluids, lights, tires pressure, etc and I have never had anything lost or damaged. I would highly recommend this Valvoline to anyone in need of an oil change.

These guys are the best, I went about a week and a half ago - 2 weeks and they were honest- I was at my 3 month mark but under my mileage and they told me my oil levels were fine and I didn t need an oil change yet. My battery died and they quickly got it running again and checked it s level. I decided to go ahead with the oil change and it was very efficient and prompt. These guys had it together and worked like a finely tuned machine. Great team. Kudos and thank you.

Highly recommend Valvoline at this location. Every employee was friendly and polite. Well presented employee's and doing their employer proud! All assets to the company starting with the manager. Great job guys! Super fast and efficient without cutting corners! I'll be back.

Horrible experience. Had to wait close to 45 minutes just to get in (so the promise of only 15 minutes was false to begin with). Then was informed that their Groupon/discount process wasn't working and I have to pay full price. There just wasn't any work around! So, my advice is to call them beforehand and confirm their discount process is up and running.
