I used to go to Newton and Watertown locations for 10 years. No issues. Both those locations did not have availability, so I purchased set of new winter tires for 2022 Mustang GT and brought it, along with Mazda 6 for tire changeover. Both car wheels were severy scratched by Sullivan tire in Waltham.I would absolutely avoid this place, if you value your wheels.

Will never come back. Stopped for a state inspection. First, they told me they do not start till 8:30 am, however there was a sign on the door stating the state inspection hours from 8 am! Then they told me because I have a fleet vehicle I had to leave for a day. What? Who made such rule? I was the only customer in the store and they refused to service the vehicle. I called Sullivan Tire customer service and they confirmed there was no rule to drop off a fleet vehicle for a day. Massachusetts law for the state inspection stated first come first served. I was very disappointed with Waltham shop customer service. Will never come back.

I've been bringing my car here for awhile now and I'm very satisfied. The guys are very nice and knowledgeable. I was able to get two new tires at a great price unexpectedly. Will continue to bring my car here.

Tim Burson is a racist person who works at this store. They damaged my rims while installing the tires and do not want to take responsibility for this. I have pictures to prove they damaged my rims and still they will not accept it. I asked for video footage when they installed the tires and they hid it from me, probably something they are hiding on their end. Not a great place to take your car for a tire change because Tim Burson does not treat people of color with respect. A typical racist.

There is always room for improvement! The staff was kind and friendly and kept me informed and I'm happy with the services as long as my car doesn't break down for the same issue. I grade hard, sorry about that. I spent 20 years in the military and any less than perfection can cause lost of life. I still carry that burden.

The staff is courteous and efficient. They take time to explain details that the automotively ignorant can understand. The prices are extremely good. This location has done very well by me on a number of occasions.Service: TiresService: Tires

Made an appointment to get new tires. I asked the rep if the tires that I wanted would be available on the day and she confirmed they would be. I went for my appointment and the tires were not available. The sales rep at the store could not offer an equivalent tire so it was a waste of my time. I will not be returning to Sullivan Tire ever.I recommend calling at least twice to confirm that tires you want are available in store since this shop is unreliable.

This location is listed on Sullivan Tire site as offering state inspection. When I was making an appointment, I was informed that state inspection is first-come-first-served at this location.Well, turns out this is a lie. When I showed up to the location the customer service guy at the counter informed me that they don't offer state inspection service. Hence two stars. Get your listings in order.Oil change was unremarkable.

I brought my car into the Waltham location for a 10 AM appointment for new tires and was told the service would take approximately 3 hours. I finally received a call at 4:30 PM letting me know my car was ready.Upon getting home, I noticed that one of the tires was losing pressure and leaking from the bead. It was evident that the tire was not mounted properly and damaged during mounting and balancing, but unfortunately it was after closing so there wasn't much I could do.I happened to be staying with my parents for the holiday. They don't live far from the Abington location so I brought the tire there to be fixed. They told me that the tire bead was damaged and they needed to get a new tire. Thankfully, they did this free of charge on the same day. Credit where credit is due to the Abington location - 2 stars instead on 1.The Waltham location, on the other hand, took 6.5 hours to mount and balance 4 new tires (which is unnecessarily long considering I had an appointment with an estimated service time) and damaged one in the process, rendering it unusable. The service was not timely and not done correctly the first time.I will not be doing business with any Sullivan Tire location in the future and will recommend others to avoid doing business with Sullivan Tire as well.

My wife deals with them all the time at her job. So we have brought our cars there a few times when needed different services. They're Reasonable on the prices, friendly office staff & Mechanics. Would've given 5 stars, but a few times we didn't get our vehicles back when originally promised. Other than that, no problems...

Fixed a tire that had a slow leak just recently. They are friendly and try their best to get you in and out.. I had all my tires replaced a few years ago and then had a couple of tires replaced because of unfortunate nails , etc road conditions

I wasn't going to post anything but Sullivan sent me a request to share my experience after my "visit". Well my visit didn't happen. Made an appointment online and then it was cancelled after office hours by the system and rescheduled to a date that didn't work. Since there was no way to reach anyone at that time, I found another shop that kept the appointment I made with them. The fact that their system didn't even know it cancelled my appointment is rather ironic I thought. Or perhaps just more evidence that it doesn't work. I used to go to Sullivan regularly but in recent years I've had nothing but problems.

I had a patch in a tire that busted (done by another auto repair professional). Sullivan Tire told me the patch should never have been placed based on where the hole in my tire was. Had to replace the tire, but no upsell or anything. Only had to replace that one tire. Fast, courteous service. I recommend them.

The team in Waltham is so nice and even stayed open a little past closing time so I could pick up my car. Appreciate the extra effort! I've been here a few times and they always do a great job at great prices.

As a returning customer of Sullivan Tire, this store is the worst one I have ever been to. Arrived before the prescheduled&confirmed time however the work had not started after waiting there for one hour. Their appointment system is just a piece of ****. Never trust it.

If you need to get your tire changed, then look no further! I got a flat tire on the highway, and they were able to get me a new tire right away! Even with my unexpected emergency situation, they still graciously accommodated my tire change within hours. Tim Cole was a true professional and expert. He went over all my options and explained the pros and cons of each tire at different price points. Over the top service!

Ordered set of Goodyear tires. Arrived at prescheduled time to the Service to get to know that tires are not delivered. Couldn't someone really check that before my arrival and inform me about unexpected delay, so I don't have to waste hours of my time for nothing? For me that's lack of the company responsibility and poor customer service. If you schedule service with Sullivan Tire & Auto Service, it could make sense to give a call to them before arrival to check that they are ready to provide the service they confirmed earlier.

The manager and asst mgr of this store took great care of me. They knew I had a long standing issue with my alignment and a wheel noise, and spent a great deal of time to make sure they understood the problem. I got a bearing fixed, my alignment is perfect, and the car sounds and drives like it's supposed to. Very happy!

For some reason, admitting to error is not something this place knows how to do. I had an alignment done, but the steering wheel light was on when I went to pick up. After leaving my car, again, I was told a day later that the issue was [incorrect prediction with repair costs over $500]. This seemed improbable, so I took it to Toyota. The issue was a step Sullivan did incorrectly during my alignment. So that's $125 to Toyota to have them complete a service I already paid for at Sullivan.I go to Sullivan with my receipt, requesting reimbursement. I considered this to be reasonable considering I had to take my car elsewhere to get the correct diagnosis and resolution. I had already spent over $1,300 at Sullivan, so I wasn't trying to con them out of my total repair costs, I just wanted a reimbursement. The response from the team at Sullivan were blank faces, and "well...I did the calibration...". Okay. That's nice, but it doesn't change the fact that it was done incorrectly, and I had to pay an additional costs. I left after they took a copy of my receipt from Toyota, and was told they'd "get back to me". Lol.Later that day I get an email from a Sullivan employee regarding a separate issue that I didn't really care about. It was a weird deflection. I sent back an email steering us back to the relevant conversation. The employee emailed me back, and attached the store's manager to the conversation so that he can respond.Crickets from the manager. It takes nothing away from you to accept responsibility for your mistakes, they happen. That's fine. What is not fine, is not bothering to correct your mistake. You would think they would be more invested in figuring out what went wrong on their end to prevent it from happening again, but nope!I am left to conclude that they do not know how to perform alignments, and/or, do not know how to perform them on Toyotas.Just go elsewhere. It's a bit pointless to go to a place that can't complete the services they advertise.

My repair ended up more complicated than thought. They called me and checked in every step of the way. One part is backordered and the price from it being part of this job will be honored. A win win, plus they helped me by cleaning the inside of my windshield. I can't reach and Tim was very kind to do it himself. Not every garage would care enough to do all that for just one me.

I called early in the morning and asked if they could fit me in for a set of tires. Mark said bring it down and I did and dropped it off. Mark asked what tires I was interested in and I mentioned I had checked Sullivan the night before and the Kelly Edge looked good. Mark called to say he had those in stock and provided the price and answered any questions I asked. Later on I got a call that they found my vehicle needed to replace the air filter so I said please change it. I said I would pick it up after work since I worked a block away in Waltham and Mark said he would call when it was done. Mark called at 12:15pm my vehicle was ready so I said I would pick it up after work. Mark mentioned the store hours but mid afternoon my boss said if it was ready I could go get it so about 3pm I picked it up and the checkout ran as smooth as the drop off. I have used the Waltham facility many times over the years from when it was Tom Lyons and I have enjoyed a good experience during those times. It's also extremely convenient having this facility so close to where I work so I can drop off in the morning and pickup after work in the afternoon. I will also point out the "customer service" experience was good and I know this because that's what I've been doing workwise since I was 14 so 57 years of experience goes a long way to me for where I go and who I spend my money with and if the customer service was not there I would not have bothered to go there regardless of how convenient it was for the location. I live by this simple rule and many different businesses no longer see my money because the customer service does not exist and this includes places to eat, sleep, shop, etc. Thank you Sullivan Tire for the people you put in place and that's one good reason why Hogan Tire will never see a $.01 of my business and I have never set foot in any of their facilities but customer service is also a phone call form of art and that I can certainly attest to.....Stuart ()Butch) Venor a satisfied customer....
