Bob is the best mechanic I've met. Trust him completely. He's honest, knowledgeable, hard-working and the nicest guy you can meet. Can't recommend more highly.

I brought my car in on two occasions. The staff at Newton street garage were professional and friendly. I felt that they were going out of their way to provide the best possible deal and service. Having worked in a garage myself for several years I felt comfortable that I was being treated honestly and fairly. I'm glad that I gave Newton St. Service a chance. Have been going there for years (about 15). Straight forward mechanics that provide excellent quality service. In my experience they give you fair quotes of repair you need done as well as let you know about things that can wait.Very honest in diagnosing what the real issue is and the true cost. Highly recommend!

Bob and his guys are the best. Fair prices and the service/work is unparalleled. He installed a new battery in my older car, in my driveway, in Sub-Zero temps! Can't say enough good things about Newton St Service.

Bob and his crew do excellent work! Like a great doctor, they fix the least thing first and, at the same time, are perfectly willing to get down to the nitty gritty and do the tough jobs. Our family has gone to Newton Street Service for over 25 years. That's the best recommendation I can give.

I ve been going to Bob at Newton Street Service for nearly 15 years. I ve owned 3 cars in that time, brought all of them to Bob and have referred friends.Bob helped me choose my last used car- after looking at three other possibilities, the forth car got Bob s seal of approval. It was 8 years old when I got it, it s been 6 years and it s run like a dream.He provides loaners and his work is always great. I now live 25 minutes away and still bring my car to Newton Street.

Completely agree, they are VERY honest... and only sell you what you need (not like the dealer!!). Never felt like they were taking advantage as I'm a female. They were always informative about the repair, would tell me what could wait and wait needed immediate attention, fit me in when I was desperate and..... are just all around good people. So if you're looking for a place, I can't say enough good about these guys.. You won't regret giving them your business....

Bob is an honest, fair, and skillful mechanic. He was my first mechanic and only mechanic for 15 years or more. If I hadn t moved 100 miles away I d still be going to see him and his crew.
