DO NOT BRING YOUR MOTORCYCLE HERE!!! Cannot emphasize enough the lack of professionalism from Mike. Took my 2009 Yamaha r6 for a cooling problem and had it for 4 months telling me several times it was going to be ready the next day. Had to threaten to get the police involved just to get my bike back from him. He left the bike outside his shop for me to pick up because he did not want to face me. The heating problem not only nit fixed but the headlight, indicators were also now broken along with a broken windscreen, missing fairings, and the tank was not even bolted down along with other issues. I paid him nearly $600 to trash my property and he did not care one bit. He refused to even replace the fairings he lost. When I finally got it to another shop they were able to fix the heating problem in one day for less than $200. I am not one to leave reviews but I cannot let another person go through what I did and get their property trashed like mine. If you need your bike worked on I highly recommended breaklite out of Peabody they do amazing work. This is hands down the worst mechanic I ve ever been too save yourself the time and money.Service: Engine repair

Dropped off my bike for some metal fab work April 28th 2021 was told it would be 4-6 weeks till he could work on it. Called 6 weeks later. He was very honest told me he hasn t been able to work on it yet he was very busy with oil changes an tires, an a family emergency. I understood all that no problems at all was going into prime riding season. He did tell me at the time he may have it done by the end of the month. Messaged him in July letting him know I was going away and was just looking for an update, never got a response. Again wasn t too concerned it s still prime riding season my bike is far from being able to ride. Messaged him again at the end of November he got back telling me that my bike is all done. I was excited and looking forward to getting the bike back home to start working on it my self. Found out some stuff that I requested wasn t done yet. He did get some of the stuff requested done befor I came to pick up the bike. Once I got there I come to see my bike is not done an some key requests I asked for were not completed. ( I ended up just saying I would do it my self) I got the bike home an started to further check out the work I got done. Was extremely disappointed none of the welds were cleanly done and none of them seemed to be ground down smooth. I also saw that he took no caution to protect my gas tank from the elements. Gas tank it now full of rust and still damp. Custom side covers are tight in some spots and then gaps in other spots. I write this extremely upset they had the bike for 7 months an the provided extremely botched product. I feel like the company is just very overwhelmed with not enough help to do quality job. Not pleased at all especially when after all this poor work an long wait time cost 1200$. Not satisfied would not recommend to anyone.

Mike is the nicest guy ever! Knows his stuff and was able to help me out in every aspect on a bike that's been sitting for a couple of years. I won't use anyone else moving forward! Reasonable rates with great service!! What else could you ask for?

NEVER bring your bike here! He had my dirtbike for over 8months when it was supposed to be no more than two months. He kept postponing it and blaming on family emergencies. In the end i had to get the Waltham Police involved to get my bike back as he would not answer me for over a month. His work and honesty is terrible and could not fix my bike after 8months and $860. I was taken advantage of and scammed. In the end i bought my own new carb and installed it myself and bike rode great again. Do not trust this guy Service: Engine repair

Mike built a 67 Pan Shovel engine for me. It was completely worn out and a total mess with parts from various years. I gave him a box of parts and he gave me back this beautiful fully set-up engine with masterfully machined compression releases and a mirror-like port/polish job. Spectacular powder coat on the cylinders and lifter blocks as well. My photo has cardboard under the bike, but the engine does not leak at all. Not a drop. Phenomenal work. Prices are very reasonable too.

Do not go to mechanic!! I brought my back to him on May 13th for a simple drive belt, he asked me to CASHAPP Him $100 and 3 months later he didn't complete the repair, i had to go thru Waltham Police to get my bike back! I called on numerous occasions status of my bike and either go his voice mail or various reasons why bike wasn't finished and to call back and he never once called me!!

Called Mike to have some routine maintenance done on my bike. Said I could drop it off anytime. Hours say they open at 9am on Saturday. Arrive at 10am. Doors locked, no one there. Wait an hour, call a dozen times. Nothing. Wasted two hours of my time and the time of the person who was driving me. Really disappointed.

These guys are awesome. I called them with a problem on our tandem bike, not even a motorcycle, ON a holiday. I dropped off the tandem and the part that was causing us the issue and they fixed it in 45 minutes. We are happily riding our tandem again!

A month and a half waiting on this guy and he didn t do anything. Very unreliable guy.Dropped cylinder heads off to MC Cycles on Fenton st in Waltham to be powder coated the first week of may. He told me they would be done the following weekend. Every single time I called him he would tell me he they would be done in a couple more days. He actually told me one day that he was sandblasting them right now . Well after waiting over a month I went and picked them up completely untouched so that was a complete lie. He didn t do anything. He also tried to get me to pay him before the work was done, and was trying to let me convince him to dremel the heads. Glad I didn t because he would have my parts for a year in that case. Why accept work you can t do?

Excellent!!I wanted to replace the front tire on my 1991 Yamaha Virago XV1100. I just gave him a call and he asked to stop by. I went there and he did the job for a very reasonable price!!!! (other mechanics in the area gave me outrageous prices). So this is a real place worth for your money and time. It took only five minutes for him to get the new tire fitted in and inflated. The place is small, but have enough tools and space for any type of motorcycle job.Mike is friendly, and interesting person to talk with. I saw he is great on doing custom motorcycles. Hoping to take my bike to him for a custom project.

Mike replaced the tires on my sport bike. I brought him the tires, he charged a reasonable price, and did it in just an hour as he promised. I think I've found myself a new preferred mechanic!Services: Tires, Wheel alignmentServices: Tires, Wheel alignment

Mike is a great guy to talk with, knowledgeable and friendly. I have a 2001 Kawasaki ZRX 1200.He did my forks over and they feel fantastic. Very fair pricing, the work took a little longer than expected as he was transitioning from part time to full time. I'd be only too happy to bring my bike back for future work. Thanks again Mike and best of luck on your new venture.

Brought my old bike there for the first time to get it fixed, I had a 2008 Gsxr 600 and it was stalling every time I tried to start it, Mike was very accommodating and took the time to explain the problem with the bike, very knowledge and friendly, bike was fixed and ready to go in a couple of days. I decided to get a 2019 R6 and after having such a good experience with Mike I decided to bring it to him to have a full exhaust installed and a power commander tuned. I couldn t be happier, best decision I ve made, the bike runs perfectly and it sounds amazing. He s not just a great mechanic but also a amazing person, will be definitely coming back :)

I highly recommend M.C. Cycle in Waltham. First off, Mike has the sweetest most beautiful Pit Bull ever; She is an absolute love-bug. I may go back just to visit Harley! Secondly, Mike was awesome to work with. Easy going and very knowledgeable in his craft. He works on all kinds of bikes, super quick service and totally fair pricing.I am a brand new rider and have little mechanical ability My front lights and back blinkers were not working properly on my 2015 Boulevard. I did the whole YouTube search thing, then decided I needed a professional. So I did a Google search and found Mike at M.C. Cycle. I called him late on a Wednesday, he said to bring the bike in first thing in the morning. He ended up rewiring the back lights and fixed a few other small things on the bike. When I go the bike home that day I realized that the back lights were again not working. So I called him and he said to bring it back in first thing in the morning so he could change out the back lights to brand new ones. Problem solved, happy customer! You can tell he takes pride in what he does, wants to make customers happy and cares that the work he does, is done well. If you have an issue with your Motorcycle, go see Mike at M.C. Cycle!

Amazing service Mike was extremely kind and patient even though i probably was rushing him. I will be a returning customer for sure. Very good and fair pricing brought my bike in cus a squirrel chewed the wires and he told me his fee and even took a loss as he understood i wasn't made of money. Overall one of the best service I've experienced

M.C. Cycles is the best mechanic shop in New England. I have a 1971 CB 450 and have been to several different mechanics in MA, NH, and Rhode Island (very few shops have the ability to work on old cafe racers). None of them were able to fit in my bike and work on it as fast as M.C. Cycles. All I wanted was an oil change, but was able to have rear turn signals (powder coated) welded in, the electric work upgraded, my clutch adjusted so that it was not as hard all by the time I went to a Mexican restaurant and had a few margaritas. In addition, the pricing is right on. Mechanics who work on old bikes usually gouge us on prices. Thank you!

I don't normally write reviews, but the experience with MC Cycles was so unprofessional and disrespectful that I need to communicate this to others. The owner, Mike, took in my electric motorcycle to true the wheels. We agreed to meet at the shop. The owner was late by 45 minutes. It was supposed to be done on Thu by end of day in two hours, give or take.Well, two hours passed and no call. Four hours.. Six... I called and no one picked up. I called an hour later, same thing. On a third call, at this time, late on a Thursday night, the owner picked up and said he had to work on another customer's bike and the bike won't be ready tonight. "Tomorrow at 11-12 noon," was the new time. And so tomorrow, Friday noon came. No call. 2pm. I called. No answer.... 4pm... 9pm. I ended picking up the bike late at night on a Friday. The next morning I woke up and the tire that was worked on was completely flat.Mike agreed to take the bike in and even picked it up on a truck. "We'll have it ready in 2-3hrs", according to him. Apparently the spokes came out too far and caused a flat.Same story. 4, 6, 10 hrs. Called and no one picked up... To make the story short, this pattern continued for 3 days. There was always some kind of an excuse about another customer or some personal emergency and a promise to deliver and call at a specific time. None of it happened. No apology either.Three days later the bike was fixed. To Mike's credit, he did quite a good job. He is a good mechanic. But when it came time to pick up the bike he had the nerve to charge me for the fixing the flat tire he worked on.I left the shop upset and disappointed. And then came the final touch. I looked at the bike sensor and noticed it has been ridden by the shop owner for many miles since I left the bike at the shop...Avoid.

I absolutely wholeheartedly recommend. I was a little uncertain at first, but came away with what almost certainly was the best service I have ever received from any mechanic. He had all the answers to my questions and was able to instantly diagnose my problems, charged more than reasonably, and did the work very quickly. On top of all this, without going into detail, it sounded like he was going through quite a lot at the time he accepted my bike (enough that no one in their right mind would blame him for being preoccupied), but he put it all on pause and gave me the time of day regardless. Respect.

Had a great experience at MC Cycle working with Mike. He is knowledgable a pleasure to work with, and can turn something undrivable into something that purrs like a kitty. My daughter's moped got towed into the shop without any forewarning to Mike. He took it with no questions asked, diagnosed the problems and made the bike better than new.The experience was so good, it made me want to buy a cycle for myself.

Been dealing with Mike at MC Cycles for over 6 years now. He is the most knowledgeable guy and can pull apart and repair anything I have thrown at him.Small engine repair to large engine repair, breaks, rim repair, custom fabrication, powder coating, this guy does it all and always goes above and beyond taking pride in his work.Look no further for a motorcycle mechanic.

Great experience! Mike spent a lot of time with me talking about the work I wanted done and also what I should be thinking about in the future as I am admittedly not a gearhead and just like to ride ride ride. He is a full time business owner now vs building the business while also banging out a full time gig, and I assume that is a game changer from the small number that had an issue in the past (excluding the wacko review I saw). Such a great local and personalized option vs Revere (I own a Victory) or Arlington. I will be back. Prices are very reasonable! Oh and he does all kinds of custom work as well.

The trunk of our car stopped working and since it was a Sunday afternoon nowhere was open that does car repairs. I called this shop and spoke to a guy who said he d be willing to look at it to help us out. We took it in and he was able to quickly fix the problem and get the trunk working. So grateful that he was able to help us out despite it being a car!!!! Thank you!!

Pathetic experience. Very rude and careless employer/employee. Only one guy working, who has no importance of time or money. I was told that my oil, filter, spark plugs and some tuning in seal would take an hour and half for labor. I got him all the necessary things; knn filter, mobil 1 oil and spark plugs. The guy started working at his own leisure, sipping on his coffee and smoking. He barely did my oil filter and spark plugs in an hour and hurried through the fitting for spark plugs. At about 15 mins past an hour he said your time is up and I won't do the fitting for seal. I told him you barely worked for an hour considering he just changed the oil. This made him angry and he started yelling,"pay me for 1.5 hours and don't come back". I paid him his due even though he hadn't worked diligently and left immediately. Now my bike is in even worse condition. And it's not even a proper garage, something made up in a tent.I would never recommend this place even if it's the last place on Earth !!!

Great guy, great service. Took my Shadow for a walk-in oil change when I couldn't get the bolt off. Topped off my coolant and offered some pointers on maintenance as well. Would definitely recommend if you're in the Waltham area.

Powder coated my rock sliders here, Mike worked with my tight deadline despite complications that caused him to work well past midnight to get them finished in time. While communication could have been handled a bit better, Mike took the time to do it right and the finish was perfect.
