Mike the owner has many times come to the parking lot, crawled under my car with flashlight and driven it around the block whenever I have had a problem and stopped by. I used another shop who put in bad parts and Mike diagnosed it free and advised I bring it back to the shop that did the work.Longlife is trustworthy. Gives you printouts of all work and parts and serviced my Honda like professionals.I highly recommend.

Long Life Auto Repair took great care of my car! I went in for a routine service and to assess a clunk/creak noise my car had started making when going over speedbumps and potholes. Long Life Auto was able to accurately diagnose the issue as loose sway bar links and replace them the next day. Mike went above and beyond to explain the cause of the issue to me in a manner that an auto layperson would understand.I was nervous going to get work done on my car because as a young woman, I've heard that some mechanics may attempt to charge higher rates or recommend premature/unnecessary repairs to me. However, this was not my experience with Long Life auto at all. They were transparent, thorough, and priced very fairly. I will be going back to them for any future services and repairs!

I had a bumper problem. It was hanging off the back of my car. Not only did they manage to put it back on, when I thought it was unsalvageable, but they ordered, painted, and replaced my bumper in a little over a week. It cost me about $1000, all told. Their work is great, quick, and cost effective.

They squeezed me in mid-day after I accidentally drove up onto a curb in my Honda Pilot and got thump thump sound. They test drove it, lifted it, inspected the front end and made the minor repairs. Kind service, comprehensive process and reasonable price. I'd never been there but was treated like a loyal customer.Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

The crew here is absolutely topnotch. They are reasonable in pricing repairs, will breakdown the repair for you in an easy to understand manner and they do great work. I always recommend them to my family and friends but also to anyone looking for an honest and quality mechanic shop. Check them out for yourself and see why so many others keep coming back to Long Life Auto Repair. Great location to, right around the corner from the Waltham Common.

For small jobs like oil changes and inspections, they are reliable. For bigger jobs, go elsewhere. I had an oil leak and my alternator needed to be replaced and they installed it incorrectly so when I picked up my car three check engine lights came on and the car was vibrating. It took them an entire week to fix this and I had to call and go down there to get an update. Once I got my car back and the lights were off, a few days the lights came back on. Taking it to a different mechanic to try and salvage this mess

Like everyone mentioned in Mike is best, trustowrthy and nice person. My 1st experience with him. To fix my car problem 3-4 auto shops asked for $350.00-$475.00. Mikes estimate was $230.00, I was little skeptical in the beginning but he not only fixed the problem but charge me only $130.00. He was honest, Said part was cheaper than he expected to be.That was pleasant surprise and experience from Auto body shop.

Only ever excellent work. Mike is an amazing human, and his shop is well-run. It does sometimes take a while to get the vehicle back, but that s a small price to pay for excellent work.

Every time I've been to Long Life I've received prompt and informative phone calls from them explaining their work, their recommendations, and detailed pricing. They'll even go so far as to explain the function of a part and the reason it needs replacing or service. At every turn, I've been made to feel confident that I'm not only getting the service I need but also that I'm not paying for unnecessary parts and labor. When I first moved to the area a year ago I needed a 75K mile service and was dreading having to find somewhere to take my car. The 5-star rating on Google Maps which I took with a grain of salt intrigued me but a friend's recommendation finally got me there. Now I get it. Each one of those stars is well earned. On more than one occasion I've taken vehicles to Long Life and been told that repairs I thought I needed (sometimes on the advice of other repair shops or even AAA) were not necessary. I've easily saved a few hundred dollars in the last year thanks to them. They've even told me that consumable parts I've come in expecting to replace aren't yet in need of replacing. In a sense, they're leaving money on the table by doing the right thing but when the time to do that work does come I'll be returning and I recommend them to all of my friends who live in the area.

Brought my car in from a dealership before I purchased it to have a Used Car Inspection done to ensure the car was worthy of purchase. The full service (test drive, engine bay inspection, tire check, etc.) took under an hour, with accept up all feed back.Because of the kind and friendly folks here, I was able to sign on my car! There s guys are very transparent in their inspection and I highly highly HIGHLY recommended for service, these guys are the real deal!!!

Rarely do I write reviews but I was so blown away by the service at Long Life Auto that I had to. First and foremost -- the loaner cars. They will actually allow you to rent a car for $10 dollars (you read that right -- TEN) a day while they work on your car. Living in Waltham is not commuter-friendly in terms of public transit and Mass car rental prices are ridiculously high. So, this is amazingly helpful. Second, everyone I met, particularly Sabrina and Andy at the front desk, are incredibly warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. They will explain the problem with your car in a clear, concise way that even auto-illiterate people like myself can understand. Lastly, prices are very fair. I needed my purge valve replaced and the average price for that repair is anywhere between $120-$167 dollars, according to Google. They charged me $127.Hopefully I won't have to come get my car repaired again for a long long time, but if I do, I'll be perfectly comfortable with my car in their hands.

This is the best mechanic I have ever been to hands down. They always have reasonable prices and call to check in with me before they do any work on the car. They have always been honest with me and don't add on things that don't need to be done. For example, I once mentioned I thought I might need new brakes and Mike recommended I wait another few months as he thought I wasn't quite due. If you live near Waltham, this is definitely the place to go.

Been going to Mike Bundy's Shop for over 10 or 12 years. "Honest" in accurate diagnosis of needed repairs, with "low repair costs" when compared to other mechanics, especially car dealers. Servicing my minor and major issues has kept me going back to Longlife, 4 or 5 vehicles later :-)

Mike is excellent,I went to Mike because my 2007 Mazda 3 was rattling when I used my breaks.Turned out I had to get my rear breaks replaced and my shock absorbers changed. He called me as soon as he found the problem told me the price and also offered a discount if I got it changed on the same day.His prices were really nominal and he has done an excellent job with the car.

I am moving across country and one of my largest concerns is finding a garage that meets the same standards as Long Life Auto in Waltham. Mike and his team are wonderful, they have served 4 different automobiles of mine and always advise me on what's best in regards to repairs. I always recommend them to everyone in the area who asks me.

I spoke to Mike about some noises I heard after switching gears with my manual car. We went for a drive and it turned out that my timing for switching gears was off. Mike even gave me some tips about driving the car. I really appreciate his time and he didn't charge me at all. I would definitely come back for repair and maintenance in the future.Service: General repairs & maintenance

There no doubt I'll be back and refferring my friends, family and colleagues to Long Life Auto Repair, LLC. There's many reasons they have 5 star reviews, and a loyal clientele. I'm so glad I skipped the Mazda dealership, to which I have been very loyal, and here's why:When my 11 year old Miata was overheating, Mike and his friendly and professional team sprang into action to get it back on the road. They even stayed late on Christmas eve, so they could fix my car in time for me to road trip to see my family. They were detailed in their diagnosis, having found a few more issues, diligent in their timing and communicated every step of the way. Their prices are very fair and cheaper than if I brought my car to the dealership for the same work (I research all my prices, parts and labor costs ahead of time).Me and my Miata gives them a final grade of: A +++

If you need a mechanic you can trust you've just stumbled into gold. Mike is a Godsend. Competency and honest are two very extremely difficult traits to find anymore in car repair and Long Life Auto delivers both. We have an older Dodge Caravan that we love and need it desperately since can't afford another vehicle if we needed one. Mike has managed to keep it going and has saved us massive amounts of money by repairing it without resorting to costly unnecessary new parts and expenses, only what's needed. And DOES it well. Highly recommend.

Very honest establishment. Actually recommended AGAINST paying for the repairs my car needed, instead encouraging me to see what I could sell the car for "as-is." Like anyone who has ever owned a car, I've encountered plenty of shady and dishonest mechanics, so it's refreshing to find a place like this. I'm selling my car and moving out of town in a few days, so I won't need any car repairs in the near future, but I highly recommend them to anyone who does.

My car died on a Friday afternoon just before we were scheduled to go on a weekend trip. Mike got my car back up and running (and even noticed and replaced a couple of burnt out tail lights that probably would have resulted in a ticket) and we were able to have a worry-free car trip. Mike and the team at Long Life Auto to the rescue (again)! This is definitely my go-to repair facility.
