I brought my 2017 BMW X5 in for a battery change, as recommended by a friend. Sure enough, the service was professional, quick, and fairly priced. These guys really know what they're doing. It was a pleasure to work with them. I'll definitely be returning for any future automotive needs.

HIGHLY recommended!!!!!I have been a client of Ed Owen for more than 20 years, going back to his former shop. I m finally getting around to writing a well-deserved review. Ed is not only an excellent service advisor, but also an outstanding human being. He is patient and kind, and his advice is thorough, well considered, and always on the mark. Whether I should trust him or take his advice has never been a question. As a sole parent, I bought used Mercedes for both of my daughters simply because I knew I would get trustworthy, wise counsel in caring for their cars as well. The entire team is absolutely worthy of mention also. Whether in the office or under the cars, everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

EAS was incredibly helpful and accommodating when I had brake issues while on a road trip. The managed to get me all set and my car even washed and vacuumed before pickup despite their crushing schedule because I was far from home. They even gave me a quick tour if the shop when I exclaimed at some of the older/cooler cars they were working on. A++, strongly recommend.

I've been a customer for several years. They've taken care of my CL and GLE Highly professional and very knowledgeable about all things Mercedes. Just like the dealership, they have a lovely, comfortable waiting area or will provide a loaner if available in advance. The best part, they don't overcharge like a dealership would. Don't forget to take a stroll of their large parking lot of antique MBs and other fun cars they show or are working on.

European Auto Solutions does a great job repairing Mercedes and BMW cars. They have as many mechanic as an auto dealer and do a better job for less. I have been using them for about a decade.

A true gem. After years of bad dealer experiences and poor service from my friends' recommended mechanics, I found these folks at European Auto Solutions and finally peace of mind. They treat you with respect and truly care about your car. I have never had them be dishonest with me. All the guys in the shop are friendly and welcoming. They always look into problems and try to give you options for more expensive repairs. Overall excellent service every time I have been there... Still true in 2022. Been going here for 15 years.

I wanted to schedule an appointment for some cooling system work on my E39 1997 BMW 528i but they never returned any of the three voicemail messages that I left with them. Even if they are so busy they don't need new business, they should have the courtesy of returning a phone call to let me know that. Now I will never know how good they might be as it is three strikes and they're out!

Extremely thorough, and do an excellent job at a fair price. Very nice people and communicative when it comes to any issues that might arise. Their invoices are great, as they are very detailed as to what was done and why. Great place for a simple oil change or the more complicated things that might come your way as the owner of a fine automobile. You guys are great, I'll keep coming back because of the way you're run.

These guys are the real deal. I have been servicing my MB cars with them since they first opened in 2006 and have always been extremely happy with the experience and the results. Because of them, my cars run better and last longer. More recently, I bought two wonderful preowned cars from them and I will definitely do so again. I trust them completely because they know their stuff, do great work and always do the right thing.

If you have a Mercedes this is the place to go. The SRS Light in my 97 Mercedes SL500 started flashing after being at the Dealership and having the battery disconnected. I went to two other places and they where not able to fix the problem. One place wanted to replace the Airbag module and seat sensor for over 3000$. It took EAS about 1 hour to find and fix the problem for me, which was a simple recoding of the SRS unit, it was under 200$. I would highly recommend them if you have a Mercedes. I will be back.Service: Electrical

This is a bizarre one. I have an old BMW that I am restoring and I was extremely excited to find this place. Went in to have an oil change and thought the place was great. Had a good conversation with a couple of the guys, got to see some nice old German cars, was then presented with my bill along with some work recommendations. I reviewed the work recommendations with them and they then agreed to get a quote together for me to let me know what the cost would be. Mind you- this car is a toy for me and is being restored, so I'm prepared to spend money on it. That was a couple of months ago. That was the last I heard from this place. For the life of me, I cannot get them to return a call or an email. So far, I've sent several emails to two different addresses associated with this shop and haven't received a response. I've called the shop and asked to speak to Ed (who originally helped me) and have been told he'd call me back. He didn't. I've left two messages with them via Facebook, neither have been responded to.I have no idea why this shop refuses to communicate with a customer who is trying to spend money with them, but I'll take my business elsewhere.

Bought a used BMW 3 Series car from Ed Owen a few months ago. Ed was very accommodating and was very easy to work with. I had been looking for over 2 years for a BMW to replace my wife's current 2005 330Xi. And, European Auto Solutions had very, very recently posted a 14 year old car (2004 330Xi, 6 speed manual shift) with 32,000 miles. We test drove the car on Friday and left a deposit. On Monday, Ed was perfectly fine with us taking the car to our usual BMW repair shop which is 35 miles away. The CarFax report indicated the car was in an accident within the last year. Ed contacted the previous owner who had photos of the damage and repair which was only a fender bender. Ed was nice enough to pass those photos to us.Very pleased with the whole process. My wife is thrilled with her "new" used BMW.Thanks again!

Stopped by Ed's shop with my cousin's 65 300 SE convertible. My cousin wanted to restore the car because its beautiful car/ perfect for to take the family around in. Ed took his time to evaluate the car other members of shop also helped. One of them being his father. Ed came reported everything that was up with the car. Told us his honest opinion to let the car instead opening up a can of worms. I truly appreciate his honesty. As he was viewing the car I realized Ed was under the weather but he kept his appointment for us. What a stand up guy. He told us it was important for him to view to the car and help is out. Ed's passion for automobiles goes behind his shop. It's a lifestyle for him. He always sets up the best events in Boston for car shows. He has taken over Boston Common, City Hall Plaza, what's next who knows but Ed will be the 1st one there.

Always amazed at how well you can trust them for getting work done. I brought my ML320 in recently for wiper arms that were ripped off and they also fixed a sporadic key stuck in ignition issue (loose shifter) I didn't mention while prepping it for an inspection sticker. Also asked multiple times if they were sure I didn't need my coolant replaced because I would have been happy to do it (looked dirtier than I remember) but they mentioned it was only replaced two years ago. No random extra issues to fix...just what your car needs. It's what auto shops should do. Hope the this team always stays together and I'll always drive out from Boston to get my car serviced here.

I trust EAS to take care of my late father's S Class and my E Class. These guys aren't just top notch mechanics they're Mercedes connoisseurs too. They love and appreciate the brand as much if not more than their customers. The experience is everything you'd expect just without the crazy dealer prices. Ed always tells it as it is and just makes sure everything goes smoothly!

It is troubling that people who have a little difficulty getting in touch with an extremely busy service and sales manager at the best Mercedes repair shop in Massachusetts or who haven't followed through on a problem or taken good advice would take this out on the place by giving one star. When I saw this, I thought I had to write in response. Yes, sometimes it takes a few calls. But you're also not going to be paying the prices for service or for excellent used Mercedes (and a few others) that you would pay at a dealer. That immediate service at the dealer: you're paying for it, through the nose.EAS has been taking fantastic care of our three Daimlers for seven years now (a total of four, actually, but one of them got totaled, so I bought a great old E-Class wagon from Ed that's been a joy to drive, along with our S- and C-class models). We just plain trust them. They don't BS you about the few cars they sell, because Ed does his best not to sell cars he doesn't want to stand behind. They also, and this is crucial, don't BS you about repairs. They do necessary repairs, and they do them for a very reasonable price. Even more importantly, they don't fix things that don't need to be fixed, or don't need to be fixed yet. This saves you serious money over the long haul. For example, why do the brakes when they've got 30% left? Wait until it's actually an issue, and then do it. You've gotten months or years (depending how much you drive; when you've got three for two people, some cars don't get that many miles) more service from the parts before investing more money. They absolutely stand behind their repairs, and in these seven years with three cars, we haven't had a single problem. Ken is also totally no BS and tells you straight up what needs to be done, what can wait, and when you can expect to have to deal with something.Regarding sales, Ed has cars to sell, but he's also a wonderful source of information and insight into other cars you might be looking at, and EAS will do a pre-purchase inspection on a used MB (or BMW and maybe others) you're looking at, and they'll give you an honest assessment, even if it means you buy a car from another place rather than from them. It may not be ideal for their business, but it IS their business, which is based on the best customer service possible and on a devotion to Daimlers and to people driving good cars.I'm 60 years old, and I've never had a dealer or repair shop I have trusted anywhere near as much as I trust EAS and Ed.Ed goes out of his way to help customers get and keep the best cars possible. That's gold.

European Auto Solutions is also a great place to buy used and quality cars. They not only sell you quality automobiles for competitive prices but also stand behind their service and technical abilities supporting pre-owned car sales. They inspire confidence, backed by great customer service when purchasing a quality pre-owned vehicle.

Overcharged me, the alignment is still off, its the same as when I brought it in for this specific issue. No communication from the shop, I had to call to inquire, shop looked clean and all, but looks can be deceiving.
