I went to get my inspection sticker tonight and sailed in 20 minutes before they closed. Owen and Allen were awesome. They had me park the car and sit in the waiting room. They worked as a team and had my car in and out and inspected before I even got bored. I made 2 business calls and then looked up and they were ready for me. I can t say how much I appreciated their service and taking care of my car at the last minutes of the day and the last days of the month.They will be my go to guys

Was taking a 26 year old Jeep to NH from RI to be my plow vehicle at a cabin. Jeep overheated and Hellen Garage took me in and put my Jeep in the bay right away. Replaced the water pump, thermostat, and flushed years of black sludge out of the block and heater core. They even brought one of their other Jeep guys in on a Saturday to eget the job done. Made it to NH later that day. Thank you!

I ve taken my car to many different places for inspections but no one does it better and faster than the guys here. I haven t had them do any repairs as I know someone but it has become my place for inspections.

Worse place ever. This is my 2nd time. I tried to give them a benefit of the doubt and they make me feel like I'm a burden to them. Never again. All I asked was a oil change and a sticker change. If you don't like your job... quit

Saved our vacation!These guys are amazing. Car trouble late on a Saturday afternoon brought us in. They were able to diagnose the problem and then ran out to get the parts for us since they couldn't have them delivered that day.They prioritized getting us back on the road over things that didn't need complete by the end of the day. This even meant moving cars around. They made sure we had what we needed while we waited and even did as much work as possible while waiting on the parts.They confirmed the work and checked the car before letting us drive for a long way on the weekend.They gave us an honest price and didn't try to get us to do anything extra. I'd return in a heart beat.

This location has bad cell service so pick up and drop off for U-Haul took 20+ minutes each. Otherwise Sarah was very nice and the young guy pumping gas let me connect to the Wi-Fi which helped a lot. Great people, bad cell service

The RUDE woman who worked last Saturday and Sunday morning should be fired! I have been in several weekends in a row, always in the morning and have never been ignored by an employee this rudely! She was so busy entertaining the customers, she kept telling me she'd be with me in a minute. While I waited, she was laughing it up with the guys at the tables, or believe it or not, actually playing KENO with them while she was supposed to be working. Never mind the time I had to wait for her to exchange recipes with an elderly woman who had been scratching tickets right at the counter for almost an hour!I used to love this store! And there are people who work here that go above and beyond and are always working like Sandy and Sarah.I only wish that I knew worked which shifts so I didn't have to deal with the attitude that I get from the other two ladies!The owner of this place really needs to take a long hard look at his employees and get rid of the ones scaring off the customers!

I went into this store last Friday morning for the very first time. The cashier working, an older woman named Vivian was barking loudly to someone on the phone. I waited until she was finished with her call before heading over to the checkout area. Just as I approached the counter, a man, who she obviously knew, came in the door and it was as if I was invisible! She started having a very heated debate with this young man right in front of me! All I wanted was to pay for the bottled water in my hands and leave! I waited a few more minutes before I politely said, "Excuse me..." But before I could get another word out, she turned to me and yelled, "EXCUSE ME! CAN'T YOU SEE THAT I AM TALKING TO SOMEONE HERE?" Very rudely! So I left the water on the counter and started to leave the store. As I was leaving the store she yelled out to me, "AND DON'T COME BACK!"I was so appalled by how she treated me that I called a phone number listed on the window for any complaints or compliments. I tried three time and got voicemail all three times!What happened to customer service? I didn't even know this woman! Why on earth would anyone employ someone with absolutely no customer service skills to do just that? Am I the only person this has happened to?

I have visited this location for the past 20 or so years for oil changes and basic maintenance for all of my cars. Because of their tremendous rollover in staff over the past 10 years or so I have stopped. The last three times I have walked in for an oil change they have huffed and puffed that I was a bother for asking. It s crazy to me if you hate your job so much, get a new one. Don t take it out on the person asking kindly for an oil change. They offer walk in services as most oil changes tend to be but they do not provide them upon request. The only thing your going to walk out of there with is a bad mood from the person behind the desk. Horrible. The only nice people are the ones who pump the gas. Update: I ve gone back and again walked out. Save yourself a bad day.

Staff were obviously annoyed that I was there. Very rude to me when I asked what trailers they had in stock. The phone rang and he said, why does everything happen at once! Proceeds to answer the phone and tells me to wait. Told him I ll help reduce the work load and walked out.

I find all these bad reviews more than a bit weird. We've been going here since we moved to the area in 2000. We have never gotten anything but excellent service, fair prices, and quality work ... including some pretty complicated repair work. Maybe there's truth in that no one ever bothers to review a place unless they are mad at them.We aren't mad and we are so grateful they are there!They take care good care of us. They check carefully to make sure the work they are doing is right. They are careful and take their time doing the work properly and will work with you to make sure payments are manageable.Sixteen years of working with them ... and NO complaints. I'm sorry it didn't occur to me to write a review before now. Shame on ME.

Helen's garage is a great place to bring your vehicle. The owner Sam is friendly and fair and worked with me when I needed an engine. Owen the head mechanic is always a pleasure to deal with. I called ahead to ask what time they stop doing inspection stickers, they said they do them until 5:00, so when i got out of work at 4 I went right there to get my sticker and the rude, flat out disrespectful guy working huffed and puffed and told me how disrespectful i was for showing up at 4:15 when they close at 5? I wouldn't recommend ANYONE go here and give them your money. Do yourself a favor and go 1 minute down the road to Uxbridge auto sales who took care of me in 5 minutes and were so helpful and proffesional. Absolutely the most unprofessional place I have been to.

My car broke down I called most shops in Uxbridge and no one could fix my car. I call Helen and they were able to take my car and fix it right away. They were honest and and took care of me very well with a discount. After they fixed it my car ran much better than how it ran before. They show they care to fixing your car and have really good prices. I highly suggest coming here if you want some quality mechanic work or if you need to fill up on gas.

Rented a uhaul from this location and got a broken furniture dolly. While returning the dolly my personal vehicle battery diedidied the parking lot. I asked if the could test my battery and give me a job. They said they could do both. A guy came out and barely walked up to the truck and said you need a new battery it will be $190. Did not even test it for me, the proceed to tell me $10 to give me a jump. The battery was sweating, but just by looking at it doesn't means its bad and needs to be replaced. Then he walked away with out even asking what I'd like to do. All this after spending $200 on a uhaul, and receiving a broke furniture dolly. Finally got it started and went through advance, who tested my battery for me and said it was 860 out of 1200 cca which is still good.

I have been here for just inspections in the past and decided to come in for an oil change today. They discovered that I have been driving on a very dangerous tire that was about to blow! I really appreciate the attention to my vehicle and the pricing is so affordable! Definitely recommend going here!Services: Tires, Oil changeServices: Tires, Oil change

I went to hellen yesterday. I go there for gas and they are closest to my home so when i had a flat it made sense to just go there.Got there at 725 am. They open the garage at 730. The owner asked me to wait 5 minutes in my car even though the waiting area was open. Owner walks in around 733 and says lets see if we have a mechanic?! I said no worries. It is a day after a holiday so its okay to be late for work. Owner proceeds to say things like "someones late for work and in trouble". Asked if they knew when (as in maybe you should call your employee)? No one showed up till 8. Owner didnt bother to apologize or come check in. I called a couple of other local places and left at 8.Besides the terrible customer service, their waiting area is grimy and gross. If they had good service this wouldnt matter. Ive wanted to use them because I would like to use local businesses but after yesterday I wont be going back for car work.I ended up at Advanced Auto about 5 minutes from hellen and will be writing a review for them. Save yourself some time and just go there first!

Extremely rude and unprofessional. There were no vehicles in any of the garages and three guys standing around. They were extremely bothered by the fact I wanted a vehicle inspection sticker at 11:00 am on a Tuesday.

The manager is a very ignorant and unhelpful person. Do not trust this person...he is a bully. I don't know what part of the world this guy comes from but he is not from Uxbridge. If you want a 3rd world experience, you will find it here...ps. this guy might be dangerous

Had oil changed at Hellens only 1000 miles since I had it done found oil filter to be leaking brought it down to have them fix said it wasn't leaking came home found it to be leaking an hour after I got home oil on bottom of filter went back down again young kid tells me it's not leaking and he will give me another oil change at my expense I said I don't think so it wasn't leaking before you did the oil change he said he called his boss I did not witness this but said there is nothing the could do I recommend you do not have any work done there very poor customer service if it was my shop I would have changed the oil and new filter with no questions asked and ate the 30$ there loss the just loss 8 customers and more hopefully if pepole listen to what I have wrote I just wanted them to fix what they did and they refused .

Very nice workers. No ones perfect but Hellens give it there all n make sure there customers are safe n happy when they leave n then after.

Had an inspection done here, people were rude and awkward, left dirty fingerprints everywhere, left the old sticker on and slapped the new one above it.
