I wish there is a negative star. I went to this shop, to replace my front brake pads and rotors, he said he need to inspect and then only he can give the estimate. The estimate he gave is far away from the market price. So I didn t proceed with him though he charged me 100 bucks just for the inspection and his time. I went there with known issue, I don t why there is a need of inspection again until unless to rob a customer. I went here to support local businesses but it didn t turn out well. Stay away from this shop. This is really a bad day for me.

every time I call for car work, Jim is so gracious and accommodating. He explains what needs to be done and gives me a realistic estimate. He is very trustworthy.

You hear about the car places that try to scam young women but I had never actually experienced it until these guys. Brought my car in for a slow leak in one of my tires. The guy told me that it couldn t be patched because it was a nail in the side wall of the tire. That was fine with me, just wanted a new tire. Then he told me all four of my tires needed to be replaced. I bought my car used not too long ago so I wasn t shocked. Then he told me my fronts brakes needed to be done ASAP, and my back breaks would need to be done soon. I had him quote me on all this. I don t remember what the quote was for the breaks, but for 4 snow tires he wanted over $1100. I was pretty taken aback because I knew that seemed expensive for tires, but I m new to driving in the north so I wasn t sure. I was able to get quotes at 2 other tire places for $550 for 4 new snow tires. Now that made me think maybe I was being scammed a little bit. So I asked the guy to just replace the one leaky tire with the cheapest tire they could get so I could get out of there. I needed to drive a ways for thanksgiving and I didn t have time to get to another tire place. $200 for a cheapo tire. Having gotten out of the place for $200, I was just gonna let it go and not leave a review even though the prices were really high. I figured they were just trying to make a buck. Then my dad started working on my breaks when I was visiting for the holiday. I have attached a picture of my break pads compared to the brand new ones. Both my dad (a former mechanic) and a guy from another mechanic agreed I had plenty left on my break pads (obviously) and the rotors are absolutely fine. My tires were honestly fine for driving in MA too. I got them replaced with snow tires because I spend a lot of time up in the white mountains anyway, but according to my father, they had plenty of tread, and there was no reason these guys should have been trying to upsell me so much. Makes me wonder if that leaky tire could ve just been patched after all. I think the weirdest part, though, was the guy calling me when the new tire was installed telling me to bring cash (after he had said he takes card and check). He didn t want to worry about tax. Seriously, so sleezy. Wouldn t recommend these guys to my worst enemy.

I've gone to Wilson's twice in the 6 months I've lived in Upton. Both times the service has been exceptional.The first time I needed my front end replaced. They got it done very quickly, and my car looked great when they were done.The second time, I got a large screw stuck in my tire, so I drove straight over to Wilson's. It seemed like they were on lunch break, but they brought my car in immediately and had the tire patched in a few minutes.Great service and prices, I'm glad we have such a good mechanic right in Upton.

Jim was easy to talk to about my vehicle concerns. He was honest and fair about parts and pricing. The work was completed on schedule. My vehicle was treated respectfully while at the shop. I recommend Wilson's and will be returning there for my vehicle repairs.

My wife had a slow leak in a tire on her vehicle and Jim was able to get it in right away and plug the tire. Hard to find an honest mechanic these days and Jim could have tried to sell me a tire but instead he was honest and it only needed a plug. Very happy with my experience and will certainly be back.

I have been using Wilson's for the past 4 months for my auto maintenance. My experience has been pleasant, prompt, and reassuring. They are friendly, informative and knowledgeable. They charge fair and comparable prices for their excellent services. I plan to continue to use Wilson's for my auto needs. Thank you wilsons!

My college age daughter brought her vehicle in to have the air conditioning recharged. Wilson's explained the process and let her know they would check for any other issues. Everything went smooth and made her feel well informed for her first car repair experience. Even printed on the receipt if there are any problems, how they would remedy and stand by their work. Great job!!

Wilson's tire & Auto, good place I made several calls to surrounding auto services they were professional and courteous. They were middle of the road for price per service, They were able to fit me in within 24 hours of my initial call. They are reliable and I will go back for other services.

Wilson s Tire Auto Service Center simply cannot do a simple transmission fluid drain and fill. It caused engine check light, VSC light, plus all of other lights popping up across the dashboard with Transmission fluids overflowing all over the engine.

Jim was so accommodating and fairly quick with the work. I m new to the area so I especially appreciate he was willing to speak to a family member of mine on the phone to explain what my car needed and to answer questions. This put me at ease with the process and I m absolutely going back again when my car needs it.

I brought a diesel truck to Jim W. that was skipping. He told me it needed injectors. He asked me to order the injectors and he'd install them. I ordered the $2,500 worth of injectors and a few other miscellaneous things. After installing the new injectors it still wasn't running correctly. He diagnosed the problem as a bad new injector. He then purchased another and installed it. Same problem. Turned out that after several attempts and a bill of several thousand dollars to fix it (still not fixed), he still wanted to be paid for his work. Bottom line, Jim is a nice guy and can perform basic automotive services, but for anything outof the ordinary, take it somewhere else.Kevin C.

WIlsons takes care of my families and my business vehicles. I love keeping my business local here in town and Jim is a great guy and very easy to work with. My business vehicles put on a lot of miles and need a lot of maintenance. He understands how important it is to get them back on the road quickly and is always on top of things.

Oil, front brakes, a battery, and Jim came up with a fix to a problem that's been ongoing for several months. He's a good mechanic and overall nice guy who does what he says, on time, and for a fair price.

Extreme mark up on parts. 500% or more. Get a quote then compare. I viewed one of your quotes. Terrible. My husband ran a garage for 40 years and it was the worst he had ever seen. A friend asked us to look it over. Replacing parts that did not need replacing. Labor charges for those parts. He got the work done elsewhere for 1/6 of the price.

I had a nail in my tire and when I called them they were busy so asked me to drop off the vehicle. They offered to drop me at home but after a quick look, they said it is just one nail and fixed it in 15 minutes. Great service and very courteous staff.

Good guys and gal over there. Very few honest, good mechanics left in the business. If you want to be taken care of and not taken for a ride then stick with these guys.

They fit in a transmission fush for us and were able to drop off my wife and pick her up, which helped her out from having to entertain a 3 yr old.
