This week my van broke down two hours from my house. Fortunately, I made it to Simon's. The owner said he could fix the car the next day....after trying three different rental car agencies he told me to hang up and he gave me his personal vehicle to drive home! He texted later that night to make sure all was good and he kept mr in the loop the next day about what they were doing to my van. The work done was great and the price was very fair. My only complaint is that Simon's isn't local to me.Services: Engine repair, Battery, Oil change

I came in for a routine inspection and the waiting area is super clean and welcoming. The AC was just right and it looked like they had some refreshments out for customers. The sweet shop dog is a nice sight to see too (she kept to herself and just hung out. Did not want to come over to say hi, unfortunately!). I will definitely come back for service when I need it!

I'm on the same page with everyone else who has taken their car for an inspection. Definitely had reservations about coming here and I should have trusted my instincts! I was failed for what they considered "suspension + steering play".I brought my car to another auto shop for a second opinion and they were nice enough to remove the REJECTION sticker and passed me instead. The second shop said there was BARELY any play.DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE FOR AN INSPECTION.Don't be fooled by the ambience and "free" coffee. Take your business elsewhere.

I am new to the area and needed a 40k mile service for my car. I looked for a service shop in the area and found Simon's online which appeared to have many happy customers. I called, got an appointment quickly and took it in this week. At check-in, they spent time to determine what I didn't really need to have done and seemed to seriously be looking for ways to save me money. I was in and out within the time and cost estimated. Later that day, I returned having found a slow leak in one tire due to an embedded nail. They quickly fixed it at no charge and I was back on the road. I was asked to send them recent service records so they could review what had been done and what I might want to have done during my next visit in 6k miles, which I did. They were very friendly and helpful throughout and I plan to continue getting my car serviced there.Service: Oil change

Only reason i don't take my car to Simon anymore is because i moved out of State. Been going to Simon a few years now. Great guy! He has always come in under others. Estimates. He does what he says he is gonna do. Gave me a great price on major services and my 2011 ford ran like a champ all the way to Texas. Went to this place to test drive the BMW 550 they had advertised on CarGurus. Owner Simone was using the car as his daily driver!! Agreed to let me test drive the car, liked the car and told him I had a trade. A 2016 Mercedes E400 Coupe with 38,000 miles on it, after making an insulting offer on my car he then told me later on the phone he wasn t excepting trades on his vehicle???? What . Told him I would sell the car elsewhere but still wanted to buy his, oh yeah did I mention his car had 90,000 on it. At this point he proceeded to tell me that after 75 days on CarGurus he doesn t have the Title to the car. After texting and phone calls and reassuring me he was going to find out where the Title was he promised, Good or Bad news he would call me Monday!! Still have not heard from him. These are the Businesses that make ALL people hate car salesmen. You would think with 10 or 15 pieces of junk on his lot he would jump at having a nice Mercedes with low miles on his lot???? Strange.Read their reviews and STAY AWAY!!Owner Simone is so full of himself it s sickening!!!! There s way to many dealers out there, go elsewhere!! You ll be much happier!!!

Very honest great service. My camper broke down about a mile away from Simon's. I had never done business with them prior, they found me a reasonably priced tow truck that could move my RV. Got me up and running quick. I couldn't afford to replace the alternator but had to get back to the Berkshires, Simon told me I could make it if I just bought an extra battery in case the one I had died. He did not try to take advantage of me and charged me a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

This shop does not check fluids in your vehicle as part of a standard oil change. Honestly, I am now questioning if they even changed the oil or just scammed me. Simon is the best! I was driving to Vermont and my tire went flat. I got to Simon s and he took fantastic care of us. Found a replacement tire at an extremely fair price and got us back on the road within an hour. Simon is extremely honest and really cares about his customers. I highly recommend bringing your cars to him for service.

I have had very positives experiences at Simon's Service Center. I came here twice initially when my air pressure was low in my tire. They filled it for me at no charge...even though I was not a customer. I didn't even have to step out of my van. So I kept them in mind when I needed an oil change. I've been twice now and enjoy their service. They have a nice, clean waiting area with a coffee station. If you're lucky, you'll get a greeting while you wait from their dog, Nalya. My van is now due to change the timing belt, and I'll be heading back for that work to be done. The owner is very nice, and I feel a level of honesty there that sometimes you don't get at auto shops. I don't live in Tyngsboro, but I'll continue to make the drive to Simon's for future service!

Simon does great work, put extra time in to get me best price on parts, explained the work, showed picture of his progress. I couldn't ask for anything better. I highly recommend his shop and will go back for any other auto work I need done.

Everyone wants to find that one place to take care of their vehicle needs. Simon's is it. I brought in a vehicle that had been sitting for some time for an oil change. During the course of their inspection they discovered other issues. Rather than do the work and charge me for it, they took the time to explain what they found and give me the option for the other services. In addition, I just had a significant fault fixed on another vehicle. Before doing the work Simon explained the nature of the fault (known issue on this model engine across numerous vehicle lines, and even showed me his work register indicating all the other vehicles he's had to work on for the exact same reason). He didn't try to upsell me or tack on anything unnecessary - it was totally up to me. He's very honest, the work is complete and timely, and their prices are more than fair. I'll gladly recommend Simon's to people I know.

I've been a customer of Simon's for years, and have had all manner of maintenance from simple oil changes to more complex issues like timing belt and brake replacement.The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices are fair. Office is always clean.Highly recommend Simon's Service Center in Tyngsboro.

I love this place! I stopped in here one day on an impulse because I needed an oil change and didn't want to drop it off at my usual mechanic, arrange for a ride to work and then back later to pick it up, etc. Simon's was quick and efficient and I've been back about half a dozen times since with all of my vehicles. Last time they found something more serious and I agreed to have them do the work, and the manager offered me a temporary car to use for a few hours so I could go back to work. Amazing to find service like that these days!

Simon and his team of auto experts are friendly, helpful, honest, fair and extremely good at what they do and automotive service!!I went to them recently for an inspection and went back for repairs related to the inspection and extremely glad that I did. Great mechanic and an ever better person. I e been using Simon s Auto for 10 years and it s always a pleasure doing business with them. He even offered me a loaner for a day while my truck was being serviced!

Mr. Simon and his crew are unique in this hazy business of car repairs. Their diagnosis and recommendations are on par with any car dealers but at much lower cost than 'dealers'. I see honesty in their business and I can recommend them to any one without reservation.

I needed a Massachusetts state inspection on my friends car..I found this shop was near my location and just over the border from NH.. I called to set appt a man answered the phone in a polite manner and asked when I would be arriving I stated within the hour he said that would be fine see you then.. I arrived at his service center and was greeted in a very professional manner again. I gave him my keys and reg and sat down in the waiting room. There was coffee and snacks,tv .. Another customer was waiting too and when her car was done she expressed how happy things went and would return for future service..Within 10 minutes my car was in the shop and done quickly a driver drove my car around front. Overall the experience was great and a pleasure to do business here..

Oct 2017If I could, I would rate it less than one star....I knew what the problem was and asked how much would it cost to have my power steering looked at. The owner (of the shop, Simon) didn't answer me stating that he would have to look at it first...He came back and told me it was leaking power steering fluid. and showed me this spot that had some grease. I knew it wasn't leaking fluids because I had this issue with a vehicle I used to own.The next thing I know he was ringing me up for $75.00 for just looking at my car.He told me it would cost 900.00 to fix. ( 500.00 for the part and 400.00 for the labor), Then he tried to use this scare tactic to try to talk me into fixing it right away. I told him I want to consult my husband before deciding. He stated if I have the repair done there he would deduct the $75.00 that he charged me.I told my friend of my situation and she recommended me her mechanic in Dracut Ma. I called and asked if he charged for having my vehicle looked at and he said no, and if I had the time bring it by.....Long story short, It wasn't the issue that "Simon" quoted me on and it only cost me 300.00 t fix.(not $900.00)I was so upset with Simon and his Service center for trying to scam me, I I called and expressed how I felt.He tried not refunding my money and said that when I come back for other service, he would deduct the $75. I told him I'm not coming back and I want my refund. (in which I did finally got back.)Normally, I don't write reviews but this one definite is worth warning people, don't let this happen to you! I suggest calling around....

Went here to get my car inspected at the end of September. My car failed for a scratched license plate. Owner told me to get a new plate and come back so he could give me a good sticker. I did not receive my plate until the beginning of December. Went to get the car inspected today and get told that he will have to recharge me because it has been 90 days. It hasn't been 90 days, 71 days exactly. I didn't receive the plate until the 69th day. He wanted to redo the entire inspection and I am assuming find something else wrong. Avoid this place.

This gentleman that runs the show is a very fun abs funny guy to deal with. Buying a car can be a stressful eventRegistration, Title, Plates , Inspection sticker, Insurance.And one other thing most people will not have to deal with Getting it HomeBought an EV that only goes 60miles on a Charge and I am on the Cape.He had a solution that worked. Ask him when you see himHow do you get a car to a place 76 miles away that can only go 60 milesNon stop transportation

Hello unfortunately I was not satisfied with Simons sent it in because of an issue.Got car back with a worse issue and service engine light on.When you bring your automobile in to be fixed you would like it fixed.I've been dealing with an ongoing issue with my service light on as soon as I get my car back light comes on again.Being a mechanic and owning a business needs to be top priority to your customers as a customer I'm very upset and very dissatisfied with the work they have done on both my vehicles. I'm no longer going to bring my car to Simons for repairs too many issues with them.

The customer service at Simon's Service Center is terrible!!!Simon does not honor prior work. And every time I have service done, the bill is always higher than what he has quoted. Watch out for this business!

Recently renovated shop with new ownership. I had a sudden sound coming from my engine. They quickly found the problem and fixed it same day for a reasonable price. Great, friendly service!

Was told that my front brake pads were at their end of life during an oil change and asked if I'd like to book service time for it then. I took it to my mechanic elsewhere who took a look and told me the pads were fine. Beware anything these guys try to up sell you on.

These guys are scammers. Took our car for inspection, they failed "front end" - the guy said the cars suspension is faulty and need to fix it to pass. We took the car to our mechanic and there was absolutely no issues with the suspension. We took the car to another testing center and it passed the inspection.

Real Rippp offfI went to Simon's for Rear brake pad change. While he was changing my rear brake pads, I received a call from Simon stating that I also need to change the rear calipers of the car.... otherwise it might give me problems.Later talking to other mechanic, I realized that calipers can be serviced and need not be replaced.Later, I changed my front brake pads at a different service center and they didn't ask me to change my calipers instead they serviced my existing calipers.As a professional mechanic Simon Service Center is not doing Justice to his profession and to customers.
