First time I used was rescheduled not once but twice on the day of appointment. Took them 3 times to replace a windshield. Horrible at showing up when there supposed to. Always some excuse the one the use the most is the windshield came in broken please reschedule. Second time made a appointment again day of was told had to reschedule 15 days out. Very bad business practices if I could give 0 stars I would. Would not recommend them and will be using Portland glass going forward

Just had my windshield replaced from modern glass. They came to my house and did the work inside my garage. And let me tell you, Mr. Mhartnett did a fantastic job with the installation work. He left no traces that my car windshield was even touched! I m beyond happy and satisfied with the outcome! I ve dealt with other companies before and they were messy and broke clips holding the moldings, like they just wanted to get the job done and over with. If anyone need to get their windshield replaced, I highly recommend Modern glass to get the job done.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Horrible. The technician had difficulty recalibrating the camera after replacing the windshield. It s been two weeks. No one from the company has returned my call. When you call you actually speak to a operator out in California. They finally made an appointment for me for a Saturday on the Friday afternoon before my appointment I received a call that they can t calibrate on Saturdays. It s been two weeks and I m driving without my safety functions.

Great service from the initial call through the installation. The team arrived during the promised time window and was done in under 2 hours. One small issue arose through no fault of the installer that is being taken care of. Zero complaints with the service I received.

Got a crack on my car windshield from something (a rock or ice) hitting it on the highway. My insurance company recommended Modern Auto Glass and they did an awesome job replacing my car windshield. They came to my house and replaced it in our driveway. It took about 30 minutes for them to do it! Amazing! Thank you very much for all your help. Much appreciated and highly recommend!

This company is now a National owned company called Auto Glass Now. They were horrible to deal with from beginning to end. They never recalibrated my window how they were supposed to and I can t get a response. Stay away!!

The folks at Modery Glass Services were absolutely amazing. The walked me through how to initiate the claim with my insurance company and made the process very easy. They picked up my vehicle at my house the next morning, took it to the shop to complete the replacment, then dropped the vehicle back off at my house. It couldn't have been easier. They were even able to complete the recalibration of the automatic windshield wipers and lane detection technology so I didn't have to take it back to the dealership. A completely all around professional company. Pat in customer service was excellent. She made certain they had the exact right windshield (which isn t so easy these days!). The two techs that came to my home to replace the windshield were professional, precise and efficient.I met Nick the GM today for windshield calibration for certain options and could quickly see why his team is so great. I called to make an appointment. The receptionist didn't come off as exactly kind. But I had been referred by someone so I ignored my instincts. I called back with the VINs, as she requested. I was given an appointment for one of my vehicles and was told they'd call me back the next day with a date for the other vehicle (once they found out when the windshield would be available) the day of our appointment I called to update them that the car was going to be moving with an hour left to the repair time. They said they didn't have my appointment at all and that I would have to Start the whole process over. I told them I would go somewhere else.

Mike a tech at Auto Glass now is a master at installing windshields as well as being knowledgeable and informative. I am so pleased with my new windshield and the experience of Mike installing it. 2 thumbs up!!!!

Mark from Modern Auto Glass just left my driveway. Polite, professional and a very good technician. I enjoyed watching him work and we shared some family stories. Company was very professional always kept me in the loop on what was going on because my windshield was running a little behind from the manufacturer. Everybody was courteous and really kind. They even re-calibrated my lane departure on my truck the same day they install my windshield. You don t find companies like this anymore with good customer service. If I could give 0 stars I would, I had them replace my passenger window on my brand new Audi Sq5 ($68,000 car) they end up using an after market window.. I called to complain about the window not working correctly, they told me they would have some one come check it out.. never got back to me. Months later the window stopped going up, and going of track, so I call them and right away the lady started giving me attitude & being disrespectful with out even hearing me out saying it s nothing to do with the window when it is do to the after market parts they put in and and the cheap glue not holding the window in place . I never bother leaving bad reviews but that s no way to treat a customer.Service: Auto side window replacement

Pat was awesome, and was able to get factory glass for my 2020 Range Rover which made me feel so much better since the car is still on the newer side. My technician was friendly, explained the process and did a fantastic job of replacing my windshield quickly, and without any evidence that it was ever broken. I didn't catch my technician's name, but he did a great job. My windshield had previously been "repaired" by Safelite after an accident, 3 times and still was wrong, but I gave up on it after the 3rd time. A rock hit it recently and cracked it, so I had to get it replaced again. My insurance set me up with Modern. The tech showed up early, I explained a few concerns with my automatic wipers not working properly after the last round of repairs. He not only fixed everything beautifully, but he fixed problems the last company left behind. It's hard to find techs that do quality work, and I was very pleased with my service today.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Had an excellent experience. Coordination and scheduling of the repair with my insurance with a breeze. The team picked up the car at my residence and returned with the windshield repair same day. I have been in the plumbing Heating and Cooling for 30 some years. We have had our share of accidents. But the only company I will ever use in the future is Modern Auto Glass. My first contact with them was through there representative Andrea. We had a cracked windshield in one of the service vehicles. She took the info, booked my job and had the office dispatch the install tech to our shop for the install. The vehicles always come back cleaner than when they start.She has replaced three windshield and repaired two broken mirrors. Now by no means am I her best client, but she is always readily available for me. Once I called on a Sunday for a windshield issue, and she was running in a marathon while she was on the phone with me!!!!!She is always my go to person for glass. Great working with you Andrea.Ken

MUCH BETTER THAN SAFELITE. I was originally referred (it felt more like coerced) to Safelite by Arbella Glass Claim. My experience at Safelite in Arlington was poor. The technician was smoking while replacing the windshield in another customer's car, so I cancelled my appointment. Modern Auto Glass was very patient dealing with the incompetent reps at Arbella Glass Claim. Modern Auto Glass made the process seamless. They picked up my car in Cambridge (they were exactly on time) and delivery the car back the same day.Service: Auto windshield replacement

When the New England roads got my new Audi s windshield, I coordinated with Modern Auto Glass to replace the windshield at the local dealership. All I can say is...wow! When I picked the car up, everything was top-notch and done right. Very professional and friendly people. Thank you!

After waiting almost a month for Safelite to get the glass in, Modern Auto Glass was able to get the piece and install it within a week, at my house, and they did a great job. Many thanks to Boston Volvo in Brighton for the referral!

Pat at Modern Auto Glass could not have been more helpful when the windshield cracked on my brand new car. She worked with the dealership to replace the glass and dealt with my insurance company, which was not easy since I was in town from another state. She rushed the order to make sure I would be able to get home to NY on time. Great customer service! Strongly recommend.

Andrea over at Modern Auto Glass is the best in the business. Never mind she always gives me "white glove" treatment but I recently sent someone I work with over for a new windshield. Nothing but rave reviews. Keep up the great work!

My daughter's Jeep Wrangler Sahara hardtop had a customized, after-market plexiglass sunroof over the back seats which was cracked in several areas and leaking. Two Jeep dealerships declined the job, and two glass companies (that the dealerships recommended) ghosted me after I sent them pictures of what the existing top looked like. Nobody wanted this job. Feeling defeated and not sure what to do, I posted about it on Facebook and forgot that Sarah Gurule worked for Modern Auto Glass. She offered to check with her boss to see if they could maybe fix it. They took on the project and did an amazing job - exceeded our expectations! I'm relieved that we didn't have to buy a new hardtop, and my newly licensed teenage daughter now has a non-leaking vehicle. It was a win-win all the way around. Special thanks to Sarah, Chris, and the guys who helped on this!

Called to today to inquire about possibly installing a continuous hinge on the front door of our business. They lady on the phone asked if it was a new door. I stated fairly new but we are having issues with the hinges. She said they don't do that, only install new doors. That is strange because there employee who I ran into at station landing in Medford told me they do those all the time. Clearly this company is not well run and no one is on the same page. So your company only installs new product but does not service anything?
