George is great. We bought a van over 5 years ago, which we still have, and we are going to purchase a Suburban. Hopefully, this week. He's always been honest, straightforward, and stands by his word. Never had any issues. GREAT GUY..

Bought 2010GMC Terrain in October 2022 was told it had brand new timing chain installed that was the main reason I bought the car, had heating problems but was told he would repair, had to wait 3 months but it was done and lasted 4 months. JUST found out the timing chain was Never replaced and now it's JUNK.Payed 6800$ for a car that only lasted 15 months. Will never again buy any thing from George the liar ever and advise anyone else to also, he is a thief with a smile

Have had plenty of work done on my vehicles at Oakland auto the mechanics are very knowledgeable the owner is very friendly and will not try to sell you something you do not need. I recommend Oakland auto for anybody that's trying to buy a used car or that needs their car serviced for any reason. I have recently purchased a vehicle from Oakland auto sales and had a pre-purchase inspection done by a mechanic who came right to Oakland auto to check out the car that I purchased the owner had no problem with it

I bought a used Sienna from George a couple years ago. I use it for work and has been a great mini van. George was very friendly and easy to work with. The van had a brake issue within the 1st couple of days and George was very to repair it.I recommend shopping here for a good solid used car at a very fair price.

I bought several vehicles from this place and they all turned out with problems. Charges to fix problems that already existed at purchase. Bought vehicle and was put off the road because whole bottom frame was completely rotten and declared unsafe. Please!!! Check your vehicle completely before buying. Every vehicle we have purchased leaks something. Be careful. WHATH OUT!!!!!;;;;

My girlfriend needed a new used car, so we visited George at Oakland Auto Sales. The first thing I did was to check his google rating, which was very positive. We found a vehicle that she liked and after a couple of visits and some research, she made the purchase. George is not the typical used-car salesman. There was no pressure and no rush. None of the cheap tactics such as "well, this beauty is going to fly off the lot if you don't purchase right now!" He seemed sincerely interested in putting her in the right car at the right price. The vehicle has a DVD player, but we had not bought a disc to test it. It is noteworthy that AFTER the sale, George remembered that he had seen a DVD disc in another car, and he found it so that we could be sure it worked. Also, there were a few radio knobs in the back that were missing from the vehicle, which we were going to buy on amazon, but when he delivered the vehicle, we noticed that he had fixed that for us. It was also great that George helped us get the insurance done on the spot. He spoke with her insurance agent over the phone and settled it all electronically, thus saving us a trip. He also tried to get us RMV appointment on the web, but because of CV they are not accepting any appointments. Overall, our buying experience was professional, pleasant and rewarding. This is how purchasing a new used car should be! Five Stars.

Refused to allow a pre-purchase inspection at a mechanic. Big red flag, plus a wasted few hours going to see the car in the first place. Also tried to argue with me that not allowing it was normal, even though it s never been an issue at the dozen or so other dealerships I ve dealt with during this car search and previous ones. I even started preemptively asking about it after my experience here and never had another place refuse, and did of course get a clean bill of health from an independent mechanic for the vehicle I ultimately purchased.

George was a nice guy. Went there twice to look at a car and I drove an hour and a half to get there for this specific car. It was in good condition but not great. But for a good price. Brought my brother back the next day to get a second opinion. When we asked for the carfax he didn t have it because he had let friends use his business account to check cars, carfax found out and shut him down. So No carfax and that was a big deal for me. The car was good but I wasn t in love with it just didn t feel right. The detail job wasn t very great either. Went back and tried to tell him my reasons and he got really defensive. Wouldn t let me finish talking and had a hard time taking no for an answer. Really off putting. Would have had a better experience if not for that last interaction.

if i could give them no star i would. i was naive and he took advantage. paid 7000 for a car that i found out will never pass expection. seemed like a good guy at the time telling me to go to a certain place owned by his cousin. while there they spoke about the car in a different language and the mechanic didnt seem happy to give me a sticker. after buying the car i went back 3 time the first week for the enigine light coming on, the window wouldnt roll up and the trunk broke. everytime i took it back he would take it in the shop and "work on it" come to find out all he was doing was resetting the engine light. the third time i took it back was day 7 (still under warranty) and he told me there was nothing wrong reset the light and sent me on my way. the light came on the next day took it back said i didnt want the car and he told me it was out of warranty and not his probly. took it to my mechanic who told me that 3 yes 3 catilac converters needed to be replace and would cost me another 7000 not to mention that he gave me a list of 38 codes wrong with this car that i had already paid $7000. love the car but it is useless bc i was scammed by the owner and his cousin's shop. learned my lesson and i will not be naive this time around but would beg people not to go here.

This is the most honest dealership and most reasonable mechanic I have ever met. If they don't get it right, they will make it right. They are really honest about diagnosing things - where other mechanics rip you off, they don't. I have also bought a car from them - told them what kind of car I was looking for, and they found it for me. It ran really well for years.

Excellent and friendly service! The mechanics are very knowledgeable and the owner Jack, is honest, friendly and kind. He doesn't try to upsell anything extra! They have a nice selection of used cars as well.

Have had a lot of work done on our vehicles. Cars to a bus. Oil changes to brakes to an engine job. Jack is always accomodating and the work is top notch and fairly priced.

They have UHaul s for rent on their lot and they are very disorganized and not supportive of their UHaul customers. Would not recommend coming here, had a very bad customer service experience from the manager there on a weekend. Find another place to get a UHaul from, and I have no idea about their car service but it can t be any better than my negative interaction.

Super service!! They tuned up my car before I left on a cross-country trip to Oregon. I didn't have a moment's trouble with my car!! Felt very safe!!

Been using Oakland Auto since I lived in Rehoboth back in 2008. I have found Jack to be honest and fair with me at all times. I now live in Foxborough and still will drive my car over to Oakland for service. Wouldn't go ant where else.

They are rude disrespectful , uncaring and very dishonest. They sent me a message to come down to by a car & be there by 4 PM. I arrived at 3:45 PM and they said we sold the car. I told them I came from Somerset u could have at least sent me a message. They man then became rude. Would not recommend the place to anyone.
