Shout out to these guys! I had something going on with my tire wether it was a nail, or valve stem, I kept losing air and my tire was super low. I spent all morning trying to find a place that would take me, to look at my tire. These guys were busy but still took the time to look at my tire and fixed the issue. It was a small nail. These guys were extremely nice, and helpful. Great service. I would highly recommend this place! Thank you!!!

I brought my car into this shop and they were so kind to me and explained every step while checking my car. The older gentleman was even kind enough to bring me into the garage to show me what the issue looks like on my car and why it is an issue. These guys will be my new go to repair shop. Thank you for your honesty!

Wow!! The people at this shop are so incredibly nice . Everyone was so friendly and professional. My brakes were VERY bad. They didn't try and sell me on anything I didn't need. The mechanic very clearly explained what was going on and also brought me to my car on the lift to show me what he was going to do . The work was done extremely quick. I would recommend Big Al's to anyone looking for great work done by great people ! came here to get an inspection sticker, guy told me my tire rod was too loose .I told him I just changed them (because I did, and been going to same mechanic for almost 10 years) and that respectfully, I m going somewhere else. He said i wouldn t be able to pass anywhere because it s safetyI went down the street to Walt s and passed.

Have a leak on my car that i swear has been serviced here atleast 3 times and its still leaking replacing all these gasket seals and charging me for them just to come back is stupid man. These guys took on a big project that not a lot of other shops could've handled well, and they got my car back to me promptly and running well. They charge fair prices for the work they do and will take the time to explain the cost and complexity of a repair to you. I would recommend this shop and will return the next time I need repair work.

4/13/18 I posted my original review about a year ago. I wanted to come back to add another up to date review! I was a customer of Al's for many years! I was always happy with his honesty and the hard work of the crew! It is now under new ownership and today was my first time in! I went for an inspection, Michael , the owner was honest and fair! I had recently had some body work done somewhere else. one of my high beams weren't working. He tried to replace the bulb for me but decided it was an electrical issue. I went back to body shop for them to tell me it was a bulb. Michael showed me that they (body shop)had actually replaced some wires and socket. I was happy to know the truth!! will be a repeat customer in the future! thank you Michael!

If you're looking for an honest repair shop that will never try to upsell you on something you don't need, visit Mike and his team of mechanics. I drive 40 minutes to use them for every repair and inspection need, bypassing countless other repair shops along my way......and I undoubtably would drive another hour because I completely trust their business to do the right thing and put the customer first. I whole-heartedly love being able to post my experience with Mike and the team - they're truly professionals of their trade. A 5 star review is not enough.

I've been coming here for many many years multiple issues with my vehicles they always get me in and out with no appointments they do the job right every time Mike and Kenny are great and the mechanic tiger is the balls he's great they got a good reliable crew working there wouldn't take my vehicle's any where else great owners great crew of Mechanic's and great service they never let me down !!!!

Nice enough people, were willing to do a job for me on short notice. Despite repeated phone calls about the job and what was needed, they insisted they could do the job, so I had the car towed there after waiting for AAA for 2.5 hours. Within 5 minutes of the car being dropped off, they called to tell me they couldn't do the job because they didn't have the right tools (They should have known this with the 5 previous phone calls about the car/job). I needed to tow the car to another shop and had to wait another 2.5 hours for AAA to come back again. I am unsure if I would try them again after this fiasco...

Honest, reliable mechanic. Might not be the cheapest around, but you get quality work done. I had my brakes done here and they lasted about 10 years with daily driving. I always recommend Big Al's when friends ask where to get work done to their cars.

I just moved to the area and needed some work done on my work vehicle and went to Big Al's and they fixed what I needed and got me in and out. The manager Ken, and mechanic Phil are very knowledgeable in their trade and answered all my questions fully. They are my go to garage for any servicing my vehicle needs.

My daughter's car went dead and she knows even less about autos than I do. AAA towed her and her car to Big Al's and dropped them both off. The kid has never been in that kind of situation, but Big Al took it from there and did a superb job. He got her right in as she was virtually stranded, worked on the car immediately and got it up and running. Nor did he charge her an arm and a leg - which he could have cause it isn't like she would have had a clue - he replaced the battery at a fair price for parts and labor. I am very grateful for the honest and professional job Big Al did for my kid. To make it even better, Alyssa, is universally known as....Al...Kevin Klamm

Real sticklers when it comes to inspection sticker. They had to fasten and release all 6 of my seat belts to ensure they worked! Never had that checked before and I started driving in 1971!

Took me for a ride... literally! Took him hour and a half to put in my alternator and battery at the cost of $140... "Supposedly" the alternator took an hour while that battery took a half an hour to put in... You should see where my alternator sits, I own a Subaru it's 5 bolts and she's out... And a battery doesn't take a half an hour to "put in"... I needed it done that day so yes I got taken for a ride for sure...

Just brought my car in for an oil change and got way over charged! Never go here again 102.00 for a 09 VW Jetta. Looked up the same oil online with oil filter it was only 29.99.

Always honest and they do great work! Highly reccomend to go to Big Als over the chain places! Chain places typicaly lie and "find stuff" where at Big Als theyre honest and do great work! Reasonably priced as well!!

Great guys. And when you go to get a job done, they don't try to sell you on a bunch of nonsense. They do the job. do it right. And they are fairly priced. I've been using them for years.

I heard so much good about this place until I dropped my car off there. They changed my oil pan and charged me $837... When to buy an oil pan alone is $80... labor cost THAT much?! Not happy...

So people know: this is NOT a retailer, it's a repair shop. From what I understand, they do sell a few things over the counter. I would call first.
