This place is THE WORST! I had a small mark on my bumper due to being rear ended. I went to toms to have them fix my bumper. I brought it there I kept calling to to see the update on my car and every time I called they said oh no one is here to speak to you about that. Then I called again and they said it was being worked on (mind you a minor bumper repair.) Then 4 weeks go by never heard anything tried to call multiple times kept being hung up on. Then finally the other day I speak with the owner Tom he tells me there s an issue with my insurance company not paying them . Mind you I got two notifications from my insurance company that he was paid $2900. He called multiple time to say he didn t get it. (He never called and told me this he lied saying my car was being worked on) so then I call the other day after my car being there for over a month. He gives me a fake number to call and he says it s the agent that isn t answering. So I call my insurance company with him on the phone and my insurance said we have issued multiple checks and e checks and he says that he didn t get them. He also lies and says that he is not familiar with getting e checks and the insurance company said that he is most definitely familiar bwith this process because he does it all the time. He was trying to get paid twice. He was ignorant rude and a liar and a thief .He wouldn t release my car even tho he got paid. My insurance sent another e check and he couldn t lie and say he didn t get it because my isnurance company went over his email multiple times to make sure it was correct. Tom sounds like he is on something I would not trust him to work on your car. He is a scammer and tried to steal from insurance companies. He. Said once he gets the check from my insurance I can have my car. Well he gets the check i go and get it and now he says I owe 145 dollars for what I dnt get it he says ur not getting your car unless I get more money. So I write a check and I go to my car and it doesn t start. Mind you he drove it out front just 25 min ago for me to grab it. I believe he did soemthing to my car and I am having it checked out. My car is brand new nothing wrong with it. DO NOTBRING YOUR CAR HERE HE IS A SCAM AND DEFINETELY SOUNDSHEAVILY SEDATED AND APEAKS TO WOMAN LIKE TRASH. HES A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR AND DID DAMAGE TO MY CAR and I will have it checked out today. I have all the proof and phone recordings ofHow he spoke to me. And how he lied and said all he needed was the check from isnruacne company and now all of a sudden the wants more money. He s a scum bag!!!! I suggest he gets audited it and I will make sure that happens!

What can I say? Tom's Auto Body and team took care of my daughter's car. However, after she was hit on route 24, she said dad the car cant be fixed. She was distraught because this was her first car. So I said, let me take it; Tom'S Auto Body, they can fix it. Well, not only did they fix it came out fantastic. I posted the before and after images of the car.Thank you again, Tom's Auto Body, for the great work, and thank you, Marylou, for keeping us updated on the car every step of the way.Service: Body & Trim

Unbelievable today this company tow my car and it was $150 dollars charged legally and he charged me $250 for 3 Miles of Towing is unbelievable I will never forget how these people Robbe people and they do the most horrible job in the world. I hope this place go bankruptcy since the owner don't care about people and only about money .Bad for him he will have to work as a miserable for the rest of he's life.

This place is an absolute joke. They tried to charge me 371.00 dollars to get my car out and it wasn't even on the lot for 24 hours. They were charging me 50.00 dollars to put my plates back on and all these other fake fees. He then dropped it to 321.00 because I was putting my own plates back on. They didn't even want to show me the invoice before I paid. Man claiming to be Tom in the back wouldn't even come out to talk until the Stoughton police showed up, and they thought the charges was made up. Before they showed up he was screaming at one of his employees because he didn't want to get the police involved. He told me to take it up with the state because it was their charges.There was no storage fees listed no where in the building on the receipt of nothing even close to it. I know that after 24 hours they charge you but my car wasn't even on the lot for that long.But since he wanted me to tell the state that's what I did, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney general. If Anybody been overcharged from this place should complain to both Agency's also. Like that we can start a paper trail so they can investigate what's going on.

Took care of the body and paint work on my truck. Came out excellent and was done very quickly. Everyone in the office was helpful. Came in on a Saturday (when they were closed) because I didn't got out of work in time on Friday night. I would highly recommend.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

My Jeep died at a busy intersection, wouldn t shift out of park so I couldn t even move it out of the road. PD was awesome, called for an emergency tow, Tom s was there in minutes. Once at Tom s the team was amazing helping me figure out what was wrong and get it to a shop that could turn the repair over in a day. They went far beyond what they had to!

Had an absolutely horrific experience here after a non consenting police tow following an accident in Sharon.Following my accident, I had left some medication in my car, as well as an abundance of other items. Marian would not let me remove any of my personal items from the car, even after I pleaded the importance of the items. She told me that this was a rule set forth by insurance. Eventually after a process as painful as getting teeth pulled, Marian let me access my vehicle under the premise I would ONLY be allowed to remove my medication. In addition, they were requiring me to disclose what medication I was retrieving, which is a clear HIPAA violation. While my medication search came up unsuccessful (I later discovered I had grabbed it in a scramble after the accident before I went to the hospital), I had other personal items in the car for a new job that had sensitive information on it and, upon accessing my car and seeing them, I went to take them. Marian was adamant that I could only take medication, and anything else I could not take because it was a rule set by the insurance companies . Later, once an officer came to the scene, Marian told the officer that it was, instead, a rule the owner made up. She claimed this policy is due to them being burned in the past, by having vehicles abandoned.(In my circumstance, there has already been a tow from Tom s established, so there was clear intent to have my car removed. As well, I have an abundance of personal items in my trunk, highlighting how valuable the car and its contents were to me). Anxious and confused, I was in hysterics, and Marian showed no empathy or remorse for me or my situation.I am absolutely disgusted by the way this place functions, and the only positive interaction I had was with the person who first escorted me to my car and assisted me in searching for my medication. After looking at the reviews, I m not surprised in the slightest of my experience. It seems shady practices are the norm here.PAYMENT WARNING!!! They REQUIRE cash for all their tows contenting or not and do not even have an ATM on the premise. They do not allow two forms of payment. Considering the tows cost $100 s of dollars, which is not pocket money, you would hope that they would have an ATM on site. They quoted my tow at $700, then when asked by law enforcements why the charge was so high, they changed the story to it actually being $485, acting confused. Very shady behavior. My only guess is that it s to avoid card fees. It is in very poor taste for a company that the town relies on for tows to not have easily accessible payment methods.The default towing company for accidents in the area of Sharon/Stoughton/Brockton should be a friendly place, considering the victim of the accident has no say in a police tow. I cant advise everyone enough to listen to the reviews and steer clear.

More than a little bit shady, and you can tell as much from the sullen faces of the workers.Eager to take advantage of the community, they were eager to take advantage of me when I found myself in a bad spot this holiday season.I am just grateful I did not need that couple hundred extra dollars they tacked on, as badly as they apparently did.A good way to act during the holidays.

DO NOT USE !!! My car got towed from my complex which is only down the street, walking distance and the charges were RIDICULOUS! They charge you for a round trip fee for mileage and ALSO charge for Fuel, as If that s not the same thing!!! Something that would regularly cost $150 and they are charging $250 and up. Justine is also very rude when I asked her to explain the price, she told me you can see it on the slip when you come to pay. I will definitely be reaching out to my complex and requesting they use a friendlier, cheaper local company for their tenants, especially during a Pandemic.Service: Air conditioning

After experiencing the devastating loss of a car fire, the local PD called Tom's Auto Body to pickup my car and transport it to impound. They were so nice and helpful, and made me feel very comfortable about leaving my car there. While it's not a situation I would wish on anyone, having Tom's Auto helping me with the insurance really made the entire ordeal much easier to deal with. Excellent customer service, very clean shop and quick response time on the tow!

Yesterday on 8/30/16 Tom's Auto Body and Towing Stoughton were hired by my leasing company to tow vehicles to another lot as they resealed the roads. The towing company moved my brother s 1999 Toyota Rav 4 (that he had for less than a month and had been driving perfectly fine) to another lot. When my brother went to pick up his car, he noticed the muffler was dragging on the ground and hanging off by a thread. When we reported the incident the tow truck operator, a white male around 5 8 with red hair and red beard said to us that s not my problem . I asked him for the company insurance information and he again told me that s not my problem . We reported it to the leasing company and they said that it needed to be reported to his insurance company as an accident. The towing company has refused to provide their insurance information, and have been nothing short of rude and refuse to acknowledge the damage that they caused to my brother s vehicle. I just called them again for the insurance information and they hung up on me. Beware of this crap company as they will damage your property and then act as if it was already damaged. My proposed resolution is for this company to pay for a replacement muffler and labor to put the new one in his car. This is his first car and he uses it to get to and from work. My brother is twenty years old and is paying his way through college so a setback like this could mean he will not have the funds to pay for his classes this semester. He is on his way right now to file a report with the local police station.

After a small accident, this company was called for towing. A little shocked from the accident, I forgot $70 in my car (in a compartment, not out in the open), which I never saw again. Check your belongings before & after leaving your car with these people. Plus, they are ridiculously expensive ($350 for a local tow & 1 night)

This company is AWFUL! they damaged my brother's vehicle and told us that the car was already like that when he was just driving the car prior to the tow. They also hung up on us several times when attempting to get their insurance information. We had no problem paying for the towing fees, but who gets their car towed to have their vehicle damaged?? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you want to still have a car!

Went there for a tire patch recently and a half dozen times before. Great service, didnt get overcharged, and they even cleaned my carpets. Had help with towing from them too. Dont listen to these other reviews. Tom's does the towing for Stoughton PD and i understand people can feel bitter about that but it doesn't read like any of them had any actual WORK done there.

I had some damage to my vehicle and I called in to get an estimate and MaryLou was very friendly and accommodating. My family and I have used Tom's Towing for years and have always had a great experience. This is a family run business. The owner & his sister who runs the front office are honest, helpful and all around good people.

The owner can not pay his electric bill, water bill, can t provide gas for his tow trucks and can t pay his employees and simply uses them for FREE LABOR issuing paychecks that will bounce with no remorse. Also he s curebtly under investigation for insurance fraud by the state of Massachusetts and MULTIPLE insurance companies companies for fixing vehicles that have been 85%+ damaged in accidents. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS CROOK. I highly suggest anyone who has had work performed by this establishment get your vehicle checked out by a reputable autobody shop and/or one that is not currently under investigation by the State. I sadly found out the hard way.

Horrible "tow company"...car was in an accident. instead of pulling it on the flat bed. Driver got in started the car and drove it at least 200' with damaged front wheel and suspension. Was charged a ridiculous amount for pick up and storage (14 hours tops). There has to be a better company for town to use.

Tom is an auto body wizard. My entire family relies on Tom and his team to fix our vehicles in the shortest time period, at or under budget, and return them to us in the safest operating condition possible. I've been bringing my cars and trucks to Tom for 20+ years and have not one time had a bad experience. His is the only shop I or my family will use.

My car was in an accident and had more damage done to it after the accident then what orginally happened. They have horrible customer service. The driver was rude. They added extra charges to the towin . I think it is awful they are the tow company for the town. I would give no stars if this was allowed .

I won t even go into detail with what they did to me. To sum it up, Tom is complexity unprofessional and does not care about not only his business, but his customers. His little office bimbo Justine is no better, for the business. Support a different local business, and give an honest dollar to any shop but this one.

DO NOT use this company under ANY circumstances. Absolute lying thieves that will take any opportunity they can find to EXTORT money from you. There is no way that Nicholas Todd's review was written by an actual customer of this company...Im calling 100% BS his review was written by the owner.

Do NOT let these people near your car, under ANY circumstances.If for whatever reason you must, WATCH THEM THE ENTIRE TIME.Have an inventory of EVERY ITEM in the vehicle.They will steal anything and everything they can!!They give kickbacks to Stoughton PD for vehicle tows, so good luck filing a report on them.

Towed my mothers car and won t give it back until Monday when they open again. I am highly disappointed and disgusted with this buisness. They also parked her car on a snow bank. This is a outrage!

Some of the rudest, unhelpful people I have ever met. If I could give zero stars I would. One of the mechanics was helpful and understanding but other than that, the owner and the receptionist were awful. Would not recommend.
