My son bought his first car here, John was amazing, he helped us all along the way, Sue was also amazing and did not quit until she found him financing within his budget. We have 2 more kids needing cars in the near future and we will definately be going back to see John to help us find their first cars!!!

Our salesman Bronson was amazing and super patient! He went over every option they had on the lot in our price point. We ended up coming back for a pristine Dodge Gran Caravan which is perfect for our growing family! We have already sent a few people this way for a car and I will recommend them for anyone I know looking for an affordable car with great customer service to boot!

I bought an incredibke Van from Higgard & Ewing! Great Salesmanship and Service no pressure tactics and gave me space to look and test-drive the Van. The whole office was friendly and courteous in all parts of the transactions. I wouodnt hesitate to reccomend!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE PEOPLE IN IT. I just purchased my first car, I had a tight budget but Bronson found just the PERFECT car for me! Made the process extremely easy, Tyler and Susan were also a tremendous help, Tyler has an amazing singing voice that made this experience a whole lot better ;) I will definetly be coming back for my second car and I have already been referring people to this place. I couldn t be more grateful for that team

My experience started out just fine. Sales was a pleasant experience and offered to have suspension and exhaust work done along with new tires prior to purchase. I confirmed they did keep their word on these repairs. They even threw in a three month /3K mile "warranty". Financing was straight forward, nothing worth mentioning.The service department and repair side of things was horrible. After purchasing the car in three months, $1300 in repairs. The "warranty" covered an O2 sensor and a evap code (only the second time around). However, the hole in the exhaust, evap sensor, wiper switch and broken emergency brake cable were ALL out of pocket.After dropping the loaner car off after the final round of repairs, I finally got to talk to Chris. I didn't even haggle on the price, I wanted my car back. I did however bring up concerns over the loaner cars which he promptly dismissed. He said that he didn't have to offer them and blamed other customers for not respecting the cars.2010 Focus was dirty, with a broken driver's side mirror, expired inspection sticker, no valid registration in the car or copy of the agreement to loan the car to me. Oh and someone's paperwork from an ER visit from years ago!The other loaner, a hatchback Focus was dirty as well with ash inside the car and a strong odor of drugs.Pathetic. Stay away from Huggard and Ewing. In business for over 50+ years and I don't know how!

I researched ahead of time and knew I was getting a good deal. During the test drive I noticed that the brakes weren't very responsive and I said something about it. Well before they delivered the car they put on four new tires and all new brakes. I'm very happy and would recommend them. Chelsea was especially helpful.

The people where great especially John. I am enjoying my Jeep. The only thing that is stopping me from ever using you guys for my next vehicle is because you advertised Bluetooth for my Jeep which is why I chose it because Bluetooth is a must for my job. However I found it was false advertisement and I ended up paying an additional 300 for the Bluetooth. If it weren t for that I would have used you guys next year for my son who graduates college next June.

Sadly, I cannot write a good review. We are highly disappointed in the service received. We purchased a vehicle and two blind spot sensors needed to be replaced. These sensors were on backorder. We agreed to purchase the vehicle after waiting for over two months, with an extended 1-month warranty or 1,000 miles and that when the sensors could be located, replaced. Since we walked out the door with the vehicle we never received a phone call from the dealer again regarding the sensors. Took vehicle to our local dealer and discovered that all four brakes and four rotors had to be replaced, the air conditioning and heater door actuator motor was never in the vehicle and they were able to locate the blind spot sensors and installed them. We called the dealer to let them know that we were able to locate sensors and have them installed and that we had to take care of other discovered problems so that we could get reimbursed as promised. We have tried to call and resolve numerous times but always, "The manager is away." Only after we called, "They said they ordered the sensors and would have to see if they can return to auto part company," or "Will get back to you." It's a game to them, "Let's see if we can get away without reimbursing them for the repair," "Let's hold them off just long enough for the warranty to expire and we can wash our hands of this deal."Noted from previous reviews that if you purchase a vehicle with no problems and cash in hand, it will go smoothly. However, if any kind of problem whether with a loan, repair, etc., they will not do anything to "make it right." What they will do, is make excuses or stop communicating. They got what they wanted, a sale of a vehicle, and nothing else matters to them.I would not recommend this dealer at all.

From the moment I called and spoke to Chelsea, I knew this would be a different experience from other car shopping/buying ones that I have had in the past.The entire team at Huggard and Ewing Auto Center were helpful, kind, and knowledgeable! I have found my new car sales and mechanic home!If you are looking to purchase a car or need a mechanic, I highly recommend this incredible small business that has a hometown feel! You won't be disappointed!

Looked at vehicle and they bragged about having it inspected themselves . the steering column was rotted and very dangerous to drive.And they seem surprised that it was a problem. they did replace it as part of the "deal".they have expensive fees and they like to sell vehicles just over 125000 miles, so it's not under lemon law, buyer beware. Had transmission problems 2 weeks after purchase, thankfully covered by dealer recall.They were slightly helpful in other ways.an ordinary used car place

I purchased 2 cars here, one from Alan in 2021 and one from Tyler in 2022, both of them have been really good Ford escape and Explorer, they made the financing process a piece of cake with Susan for the signing and literally everything! They answered all my questions and helped me to get the car even though I was still in maternity leave, thanks again Susan! I would recommend them anytime!

Had to spend $1500 for repairs that were necessary from Colonial Ford to make the car safe to drive for my 16 year old son, 2 weeks after purchasing it.They sold me a car that had a speed limitation (wouldn t go over 68 MPH) and at one point was a fleet vehicle, without any knowledge or disclosure. I had to have a second key made (car only came with 1 key), have the MyKey limitations removed (Ford utilizes MyKey to control driver settings), the transmission flushed and filled, and have the keyless entry reprogrammed. The cabin air filter hadn t been touched, and was so collapsed I had to use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove it. Their touch up paint was atrocious, and will have to be professionally corrected.I felt like I was buying a solid car from a reputable dealer, however, after having to go out of pocket for this $1500 for necessary repairs, as well as an additional $500 to replace the windshield that was so scratched from bad wiper blades it was a hazard, that may not have been the case.I ve reached out to them to see if they d stand behind their sale, but it s been radio silence. These were not cosmetic or custom repairs, these were repairs necessary to have the car perform safely. Stay away.EDIT: They ve blocked my email so they don t have to respond. Great customer service, scumbags.REPLYING TO OWNER'S RESPONSE: I had a conversation with Chris O'Neill, an owner, this weekend. As expected, your dealership isn't standing behind what they sold me, nor are you willing to work with me to recoup the money I had to spend to make the car safe.For any potential buyers out there researching whether you should go here, here's some advice. Run your own CARFAX report on your dime, as stated by Chris "We are not required to provide any vehicle history reports". Make sure you ask how many keys the vehicle has. Ask if it was a fleet or commercial vehicle prior to H&E receiving it, because "disclosing the prior use is not an obligation of any dealership". If it was a fleet vehicle, ask if there are any speed limitations that would require dealer intervention to repair. Also, if you do decide to purchase a vehicle, and have them touch up or repair anything prior to you taking it home, be prepared for them to use salvage or used parts, not test any of their work, and keep it for extended periods of time by saying "we're just waiting on parts". Hopefully this will help someone prevent the same mistakes I made.

Bought a truck from them in October of 2023, 63,000 miles. $29000.00. Shortly after owning, the truck go back to there shop for a rough idling and shifting problem. They said nothing is wrong and can t find any problem. Then after getting the truck back, 5 weeks after, the truck brakes down at 5am, loss all power of acceleration, shifting rough, chugging, dash board light up like a Christmas tree. After pulling over, truck turns off and can t turn it back on. January 10,2024 I had the truck towed back to Huggard and Ewing service department. After months of back and for with them, and warranty. The cylinder 1,8 are no good, They supposedly replaced the engine with a remanufactured engine. On march 9th, they told me the new engine was having a misfiring issue. Said they can fix it and can pick my truck up on the 21st of march. Called them and they said, we are still trying to fix it. Got a call on march 26nd, trucks ready and drives good and smooth. I picked up the truck and only made it 2 miles from there shop before the engine lights flashing, loss of acceleration, shifting Terrible, shakes like crazy. And stalling. Had to get it towed to a real mechanic. They had my truck since January and couldn t get it fixed. Don t buy from them or have you vehicle serviced by them.

Talk about Used Car Salesman reputation ! Horrible I wouldn't buy anything from this place . The sales manager comes over after I was talking with the sales rep and she went right into old school used car sale rep mode of what do I need to do to get you in that truck today ? She actually said " they sent me in im the big dog to get this deal done Today. What do we need to do to do that?" I told her give me the truck for 1/2 price and she said that's not realistic and i said nether is me buying that truck Today ! They followed up with me and then stated they didn't want to honor what they offered me for my truck or their best price for the truck i looked at a few days before ! They give the industry a Bad name ! DO NOT SHOP HERE !

Wow, what a great experience! I personally work at used car dealer in Westborough, but this was great! I worked with Chris in sales and he answered all my questions honestly and quickly. I had an issue with one sales consultant John, who actually hung up the phone on me. I complained right away, and Chris resolved the issue. Great deals here as well. If you want a car fast and easy. The car I got is fine so far but overall they re really bad with communication and seem a little shady. I tried to cancel one of the warranties I got (within the 30 days) and they were very dodgey and unhelpful. I don t believe they actually ended up canceling the warranty either which is now a waste of $3,000. I was promised a key fob would come with the car and well I got one, but it s broken. They refuse to fix it or supply me with a new working one.Overall experience wasn t the worst, but definitely wasn t good.

I had an issue with one of the vehicles I purchased from H&E and one of the owner's went out of his way to personally make it right. Chris stands behind his cars and his word, and I'm happy with the way everything ended up at the end of the day. Susan in the finance office is awesome too! Thanks again Chris.
