Awesome mechanic. Carlos helps me every time normally. He is great. Very fairly priced. My guess it you would pay double at the dealership, for what they charge. Very efficient as well. Thanks Carlos, always a pleasure seeing you.

My pregnant wife went here to get her car inspected on her lunch break, and some dbag cut the line and drove his car into the bay when she was clearly next in line. When she confronted him, he called her sweetie and was very disrespectful. Seems this dbag knows one of the mechanics, so no one batted an eye.If this is the type of clientele that Main Street Auto Care attracts, I want nothing to do with them. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

Timothy and Carlos are great men. Been to many places to fix my car. These guys resolved my problems. Weeks later I brought my sister s car. They did a wonderful job. They trained me how to check my oil. Great men,great service. Thanks.

Horrible job done!I went to Main Street Auto one morning after finding a puddle of fluid under my car. They had a spot and could take me right away which was great. On the way there, my car wouldn t shift properly and would sort of stall at times. The mechanic determined the leak was a transmission line leak and fixed it with a homemade adapter. I asked him if he refilled the fluid and he told me he topped it off. After continuing to drive, the shifting issues kept happening. I took my car to a different shop and they determined that the transmission fluid was 3 quarts short! He was happy i brought it in cause it could ve blown up.As a mechanic I feel it s expected that you make sure the fluids are at the proper levels.Never going back

My battery died across the street from this shop. Tiago ( the manager ) was super nice and quickly drove down the street to the store to get me a new one and replaced it. Appreciate his responsiveness.

I've had a lot of mechanics over the years and it hasn't always been a great or fair experience. I've been taking my vehicle here since I have moved to Stoneham. I mostly deal with Carlos, but everyone here is top notch. From something as easy as an inspection sticker to a full break line replacement, they do excellent work and I've actually learned quite a bit from them. Their pricing is also really reasonable. I highly recommend these guys. They are fast and reasonable and know what they are doing.Service: Steering & suspension repair

They're great, if you like getting your car back more damaged than when you brought it to them.I took my 2021 car in for an inspection, and got it back with a driver's side door that wouldn't close any more, and a deep scratch on the passenger side door. Two trips to the body shop later, my car is back like it was before I took it there. At least I have good insurance.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I pulled in with kids in tow and a flat tire hoping to get some air so I could at least get us home. The gentleman at the pump got me gas, put air in my tire, and got the mechanic to find the nail and fix the tire on the spot. I go to Main St for my inspections. Carlos is great but if you drive lowered cars you Will scrape entering and exiting. Makes it tough for some of my rides

Awful. Went for an inspection sticker on a newer car with 0 mechanical issues. Was given a "Rejected" sticker because the technician could not locate the OBD2 port and was too busy to try. He told me to find it myself and bring it back. It took me 30 seconds to locate it. When I free and had time next weekend I took it back so he could finish only to be told that their machine is broken and that I would have to come back a third time for something that only should have taken 10 minutes. When I asked for my money back he said "We don't do refund. If you have an issue go talk to the police". I've taken multiple vehicles here for the past 10 years, and this is the run around I get. Will never go back and I recommend every stay clear of here. DO NOT GO HERE.I recomend you go to Hometown Auto in Stoneham instead. They were great to me after I told them what happened and have fixed other vehicles of mine quickly and for a reasonable price.

It us such a huge deal to have a mechanic that you trust, and Carlos is that and more! He's honest and hardworking and always wiling to help. He's done plenty of work on my cars over the years and I've never had an issue with his work. I've got to know him over the past few years and he's a wonderful kind soul. I absolutely adore Carlos who does the stickers. He's so nice and works fast! He works at about 8-10 min per vehicle and there were about 4 people in front of me. He's thorough, friendly, and honest. The other attendants are great as well! They take care or you here and that's a nice breath of fresh air. My boyfriend has been coming here for a long time and won't go to anyone else but Carlos and the others. Such good people!

After reading the generally glowing reviews, decided to bring my car here for an oil change before the annual inspection. Called ahead for a time estimate, then did a walk-in. The guys beat their estimate, and what's more, went ahead and got my inspection done too! Excellent pricing as well. I plan on coming here for any future vehicle needs.

I just got back from Main Street Auto Care and was so impressed with their customer service. They are still open during COVID-19 and took all the appropriate safety precautions with gloves and masks on. I thought I had a leaky tire, so Carlos checked them all, pumped in extra air, washed the valve with soap and water, etc. He said they all seemed to be full now and got the pressure just right to turn the dashboard light off. I am so appreciative of his thoroughness and kindness to me. I will definitely be going back in the future!

Great service. I brought in my 05 Acura and they did an oil change on the spot.I brought my own oil and asked if that was ok, they were ok with it. I like dealing with with easy going shops.Also the techs here noted the heat shield had a slight rattle and adjusted it for me and I asked to torque free the diff fluid ports, they did at no added charge. Very friendly and accommodating staffThis is my second time coming here, first time I got an inspection sticker done (no wait time).I believe the other reviewer may have come on a lunch break or when only the gas attendant was around.I'll be coming back here for future visits since they are very knowledgeable about Honda/Acura and they are extremely fast, honest and efficient.

I usually do some work there and today I stopped Carlos to check if the oil dripping from the oil pan. He removed all the synthetic oil that I bought before and after I asked to put the same oil but new, he ignored me and did what he wanted. He didn't solve the problem and they were both arrogant. It charged me $ 50 for something that cost $ 10. I ll NEVER GO BACK! Good luck if you want to risk it, dirty the whole car.Bad and dirty

Can I rate -5 stars? The old guy at the front desk treated me like trash. I saluted him and hi didnt even bother responding. Also, when he realized he could do the service on my car he simply pulled out of the garage and parked a couple yards from me, so I'd have to walk all the way to my car. How come? This is a trait of people that know nothing about respect. If he was a little younger I would treat him like he deserved but I rather simply walked away and went to another place. Very impolite and unprofessional. Never gonna put my feet in this place again.

Great service! Started bringing my cars here for inspection stickers and oil changes. Then noticed they did more stuff so I kept coming. Way cheaper and better than the dealership.

This place has been honest since day 1 and continues to be. I've had oil changes, inspections, and repairs done here with no issues and work done to satisfaction. They'll tell care for you here.

Didn't get a name, but the guy doing the sticker told my elderly mother to "walk home" because she had forgotten her wallet. "Walk home", to an older lady with bad arthritis who would NEVER try to pull a fast one. Luckily, my wife was in the area and was able to sort the situation out. I'll be personally stopping by soon. First and last time.

Take my car here for inspections. They are always friendly and courteous. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
