We have been going to Nick and his team for over ten years now. Always a pleasant experience. Convenient, timely and proper repairs/maintenance all at very reasonable prices. This shop is amazing. Their willingness to help exceeds expectations. Being from Taunton, I was very concerned with travel home. Pedro/Peter has fantastic people skills, and very kind. He found the time to take my vehicle last minute. I feel bad for not catching the mechanics name who looked at my car. (Older man with glasses). But, he took the time to take my car for a ride, and Pedro also. The mechanic looked over my engine head to toe. Come to find out the noise was a plastic bag no damage. Engine, Next time I m in town, and need work done I ll be there! Thank you for everything.- Kathleen

Spartan Auto is the most reliable, trustworthy auto service and repair in the Springfield area. Nick runs a friendly and highly competent team of service technicians. Further, because we have come to trust them, the other members of our extended family have come to respect Spartan as well.Special mention goes to Senior Technician, Mike Aubrey. He's amazing!

Great experience.The vehicle was brought in right after I checked in.I was advised of the progress.Very comfortable area to wait for service to be finished.The Tire rotation and oil change were done in about 40 minutes.

Incredible service! I don t believe 10 minutes had passed since dropping the car off before they called with a detailed explanation as to what exhaust work was necessary. Because the car was older, I was hoping for some repair work rather than a replacement, and that is exactly what they were able to do. The entire job was done within a couple of hours. I would recommend them without qualification. Very satisfied.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

For us, a long-term service relationship, mostly involving a variety of foreign cars. This is a busy AAA "certified" repair shop. The Brothers Katsoulis are polite, straightforward, and definitely try to explain the repair process. Various service personnel (over-the-years) appear to be happy working here. And they do warrant their work product!

Excellent customer service. I needed to get my suspension replaced and called ahead and was able to get my car in the next morning. I was able to use their loaner car for the day, which was very convenient. The service was quick, my car was ready to be picked up that afternoon. They called the next day to check in on how the car was doing and if the issue had been fixed, which was nice. Nick and his staff take the time to provide timely updates about your car- all questions answered! The repair work on my car wasgreat and done in a reasonable amount of time.Fantastic car care place! I was traveling from Maine last weekend to the Western Mass area. Unfortunately, my car broke down before I reached my destination. It was a Saturday and I knew my options were limited on who might be open on a Saturday. I called Spartan and Nick offered to take my car in. I had AAA tow my car to the shop and Spartan literally took my car in immediately (eventhough I had arrived close to closing time.) They were able to diagnose the issue (my alternator) and order the part to be ready to fix it when they reopened on Monday. Luckily I had family to stay with over the weekend and then my car was ready by midday on Monday. I am grateful that I was able to get back to Maine by Monday. Spartan helped resolve my car issue smoothly. Car is running great! I'm happy I chose Spartan, they really helped make a bad situation be resolved with little worry.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My dad had an issue with his starter and not only did they fix that issue but when I went to pick up the truck they went above and beyond to make sure to see if there were any other issues. They found an issue with the transmission line and fixed that for me as well! It took a little bit longer than I expected it to but waiting wasn't bad at all. Peter, whom greeted me as soon as I came in, was a riot. Definitely a people person and knows how to make you feel comfortable during the wait as well as engage to make you feel more like a family rather than just a customer. 10/10 would go back again as well as recommend to anyone in the area. The other mechanics as well were super nice and amazing at what they do. Even the gentleman who was cleaning the office engaged with the customers and was hilarious. Thank you for such a great experience and taking care of the vehicle we had left in your hands.Services: Transmission, Auto maintenance

Brought my car to Spartan for repair. They diagnosed the transmission problem and then showed me what was needed and gave me a repair price. I advised them to go ahead with repairs and asked they call me when it was repaired. Thru completed the repair timely, and contacted me within the specified time to advise the repairs were complete. The price was reasonable, repairs were timely and the customer service was excellent. Will be going back next time repairs are needed.Service: Transmission

Was told I needed 1k worth of work...left and received a 2nd AND 3rd opinion. I only needed a new battery. I am a single mom and money is tight as is. I almost got scammed...would not recommend. Caused a lot of unnecessary stress.

They have an awesome Maintenance Program! Includes 3 free oil changes for $85!! And as if that isn t enough. 2 free flat tire repair, tire rotation, and more! They are always so nice and.Nick (West Springfield) really cares about keeping my family safe in our vehicles. They are a fair and affordable auto repair shop! I was towed here after after experiencing severe engine problems while traveling from New Hampshire to New York. They were closed, so we left the car in their lot and I called the next morning. Even on a Saturday morning they were willing to look at my car and I got a call 20 minutes later with their diagnosis. At that point they could have said anything and charged me anything, but they didn't. They fixed the problem and charged me $50. Based on that, I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you, Spartan!

Great service and even better people! Made an appointment and my car was done in about an hour. They fixed my current problem and then actually showed me something that might become a problem soon on my car. I appreciate that head's up. Everyone was great. Peter was the one I interacted with the most and he was a great guy and gave me really good advice about my car. I will be back to this garage if anything else happens with my car!

An honest mechanic like Spartan is hard to find Nick and team do a great job of clearly explaining what is wrong with your car and the services that need to be performed. Additionally, their prices are reasonable and they only do the work that needs to be done. Responded very quickly through emailregarding assessing my brake needs. Extremely professional at all times. The day before Xmas eve we got a flat on I 91 and got towed to the Spartan and they took the time to find us a new tire and put it on so we could finish our 2 hour trip home thru the snow storm to NY.They were friendly, caring and swift.
