Hotel was family friendly, but the pool closing at 10pm and kids running loudly through the halls until 11:30pm was intolerable. We have young kids and had to blast the fan in the room to partially drown out the noise so they could sleep. Staff should have never let it go on for so long seeing that it was happening within their view.Noteworthy details: Nice fog free mirror in the bathroom was a plus.

Our visit to the Ambassador was a pleasant one, the staff were very polite and professional. The pool, sauna and hot tub were immaculate.Breakfast lacked hot offerings like eggs & bacon like most of the larger chains provide.

The staff was incredibly accommodating from the front desk to housekeeping. We were pleasantly surprised by all the updates! Great job! Fellow guests were quiet and respectful. Convenient parking. Pool and spa are outdated, but clean and working. It added to old Cape Cod charm. Whether you re visiting as a couple, with small children or in a larger group, it s perfect and budget friendly too. Kudos to ownership, management and your team. Thank you!Rooms: Loved the updates. Comfortable bed. Beautiful, new bathroom.Nearby activities: Plenty to do and see for adults and children within walking distance or a short drive.Safety: Quiet. Secure.

The location is great and the indoor and outdoor pool are nice although they need updating. Continental breakfast is nice as well although it was lacking in what most continental breakfast usually offer. We would stay there again however our room smelled so badly of mildew. I m not sure if it s because of the close proximity to the pool (all first floor rooms) or something else but it was over powering unless we kept the air on high (no room thermostat).Rooms: The room needs updating (the bathroom was very clearly updated and modern). The bed needs to be updated as well.

I have been coming here for decades, both with kids and just the wife and I. The location is superb. They are always very friendly, especially the owner, and accommodating. The pool is clean, and in good shape. The hot tub is pretty good, and I love the Sauna. The place was recently redone and is quite nice, especially for the rate. The desk chair needs to move to the end of the room as it can get in the way with the large beds. NOTE: No microwave in-room, just in common areas, but, didn't miss it. Nice size TV. Too bad Doyle's closed/changed, as that was a favorite of mine.Highly recommend this place, and as the owner will say, "Book Direct"

Our family took a weekend trip to the Cape and decided to stay at the Ambassador Inn and Suites. As others have noted, the staff are really friendly and helpful, much more so than you might find at a higher end hotel in the city. The rooms look newly done and are quite nice. We had 2 queen beds, which were fairly firm without being rock hard. Much better than the soft beds many hotels have. There are two pools - one outdoor and one indoor, that are well kept.A simple yet generously stocked breakfast is served in the morning - make your own waffles, pancakes, a selection of packed muffins, mini bagels, yogurt cups, a selection of cold cereals, oatmeal, apples and bananas, a selection of juices and coffee. If you are looking for something different for breakfast or any other meal you can also cross the street and go to the Crazy Rooster for breakfast, lunch or dinner.I didn't notice any elevators, so you need to carry your luggage up stairs to get to the second floor. That can be important to know. The other thing to be aware of is there is an outdoor seating area by the entrench for smokers. All in all our family had an enjoyable experience and would definitely look here for another stay.Rooms: The rooms look newly refurbished. Everything from the beds to the furniture and bathroom. Rooms are plenty big. The TVs are nice, but the broadcast images can be broken up, they might be satellite.Nearby activities: The hotel is centrally located near the Bass River on Rt 28. Beaches are less than a 5 minute drive. Dining and minutiae golf and other attractions are just a shirt drive as well. Chatham is aboy half an hour down the road, Provincetown an hour and Hyannis a short drive as well.Safety: The area looks safe. We had no concerns a out safety while we stayed hereFood & drinks: A basic self serve breakfast is served. Prepared pancakes, make your own waffles, cereals, packaged muffins, mini bagels, yogurt cups, oatmeal, juices, milk, coffee.

We were very comfortable at Ambassador. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection. Very important...good coffee! The location was great. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance or short drive. We made use of the Sauna, hot tub, and pool. We would definitely stay there again.Rooms: The rooms seemed to have been recently renovated. Very clean and comfortable. Great beds

We really enjoyed our stay! The continental breakfast was great, the indoor pool was a very comfortable temperature and the hot tub was glorious. The Inn was very close to our favorite beach. I will definitely stay here again. The only con was that from 9pm to 10pm the pool is offered for adults only but there were kids splashing about. I figure that blame is on the parents being disrespectful.

Guest rooms and bathrooms are nicely updated and building and grounds are well maintained. Wish guest rooms had thermostat to help keep room at a constant temperature. Indoor pool is small but clean and served its purpose. Outdoor pool is also small and we didn't use it based on its the location (corner of the parking lot). Breakfast options included a nice variety but flow of the area where it is served needs reconfiguration. Service was friendly and accommodating.Nearby activities: Close to everything - coffee shops, markets, pharmacies, gift shops, activities for kids.

This is a wonderful hotel.Very helpful and accommodating office staff. The room was spotless and well cared for. Very comfy bed with extra pillows. Slept like a baby! The bathroom is like a showroom model.People are visibly seen cleaning windows and keeping the property up.The pools were extremely clean and well taken care of. A sauna and hot tub are available too.We felt very safe on this property which is most convenient to about anything you need. The breakfast has a lot of variety and the area reserved for dining is spacious, pleasant and spic and span. Additionally tea and coffee are available 24/7.Honestly we were so impressed with this hotel. It surpassed our usual expectations for a resort area.My wife and I cannot think of a single thing that we would have changed.Needless to say if we are up in that area again we would be delighted to stay at the Ambassador. It is a real treasure!Rooms: Very very comfortable with a very modern bathroom. Everything worked!

This place was wonderful. Very old school, but you can tell the rooms were recently updated. For parents traveling with kids: the beds are HIGH (i was worried about the height of falls if she rolled out), the sink in our bathroom was a bowl, which added to the aesthetics, but made hand washing and teeth brushing with a little one harder. The indoor pool was lovely to hang out in! It was too hot for us to try the outdoor one, but there were plenty of people enjoying it!The hotel itself was HOT. It felt like the AC was deciding when it was gonna work in the lobby, and with this heat wave, it decided not. The rooms were PERFECT! All things to do in Yarmouth and Dennis were pleasantly close too!If you re looking for a pleasant stay, The Ambassador is absolutely worth it, especially if you re looking for that classic Cape Cod hotel feel.

My family and I had a wonderful time while staying at Ambassador Inn & Suites. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and accommodating. The indoor pool and hot tub were clean and my children enjoyed the pool a lot. The area was perfect and we were able to walk across the street to the many restaurants that were there. Entertainment for the whole family was also less than a mile from the hotel. Definitely will come back to stay again.Nearby activities: Family friendly activities within a mileWalkability: Lots of restaurants right across the street.

They are the most curious people and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay wonderful. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the bathroom is all updated and clean. The pool is very well maintained, as is the hotel itself. Would recommend this hotel if you are visiting the cape.Rooms: All are updated and clean, and the bathroom is very cleanNearby activities: You can walk to restaurants and charming stores that are found on the capeSafety: The doors to enter the hallway are locked, and we'll lit. The people staying here are families and older folks like us

Perfectly decent place to stay for the rate compared to other hotels in the area! Stayed as family of 4. Doesn't have a restaurant but we enjoyed the pool and light breakfast that was included. Room was clean. Location is perfect for our needs. Will be staying again.Update - stayed again in a room that was a bit more dated, but outdoor pool was open and we had it all to ourselves.

The hotel was ok recently remodeled but carpets are filthy. I realize it's hard to keep places up with the way people treat things. But simple things like a couple umbrellas that were by the pool didn't work but the pool area was very nice. Rear door didn't lock itself so anyone could get in if you didn't pull it shut. Breakfast was fine. Very nice owner who seems to be trying to keep it nice.

I go nearly every year to the cape and have stayed in numerous locations mostly central cape for access to biking all over the cape. This time we did more beaches and this location was a short drive to many. Go by 10am or you may get closed out at some beaches. This was en exceptional clean facility with a quiet outdoor pool area. Lots of parking and nice updated rooms. Management was on site and staff was VERY attentive. Breakfast area was well taken care of. Overall a great stay and I'm not alone as I heard other guests talking about how they were repeat customers. Highly reccomended from an experienced cape goer.Nearby activities: The Dennis parking area for the rail trail is close. Rt 28 is full of restaurants withing 10 min driving as well as the usual mini golf for the kids. This hotel is on a nice spot on 28 that is easy to get on in both directions. It's about an hour to Provincetown which is decent. Hyannis is close too. We got to Mashpee commons shopping in about a half hour. Very central location.

Great location to get to all towns in the cape. The rooms were updated and clean, but mine lacked a mirror (besides the bathroom mirror). The indoor pool/hot tub was great. The outdoor pool is small, but serves its purpose. The breakfast is basic, but we were able to find something for everyone.Nearby activities: Great location to explore the entire Cape.
