Excellent and fast service. I popped over here on a Monday afternoon hoping to get an inspection sticker for a vehicle. There was a single attendant doing inspections inspecting another vehicle at the time, but they were very friendly, fast, and communicative. I was in and out in less than a half hour...possibly within 20 minutes even. I can't speak to other services or availability on the weekends for inspections but I would definitely recommend this place to others for inspections. The attendant was so friendly and I don't think I've ever encountered such a friendly person working at an auto shop. That put me in such a great mood for the afternoon, I really appreciated the ease of service and positive interaction!

If i could give 10 stars i would! This is the only place I'll bring my cars. Larry is a true professional long time technician his experience and knowledge really is appreciated i trust you with the inspection and reassurance that my family is safe, they're my whole life so I guess what I'm saying is a trust This Man with my Whole life so thank for that lol. Get ur car inspected there!! YESTERDAY!! GO!

Dude purposely leaves out info so when you bring your car back to get re inspected he has new reasons to fail you. Total money grubbing business. Highly don t recommend

So I just stopped at Robert's Auto in South Hadley and received a red rejection sticker for ball joints and tie rods. The kid doing the inspection checked the ball joints turning the tire left to right which gave a little movement due to the natural play in the steering column or the pitman or idler arms. So as a former mechanic I brought my car home jacked it up and checked everything for myself and found zero play when you grab the wheel top and bottom and wiggle back and forth LIKE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO. Also there was a small spot of rust on the passenger rear inside door panel and he failed me for that as well. The hole was nowhere near as big when I got there as it was when I left which means somebody punctured the whole worse. This place will clearly fail anyone for anything possible to get the money and not even care about customer satisfaction. I don't know if it was just the kid that was working by himself who also got a pretty good attitude towards me when I questioned anything that he did or if it's the place itself but if you have an older car like mine (2002) I would not recommend this place to anybody else at this point.

Don't go by the website or the the recording when calling the proprietor closes whenever he feels like it. Make sure you call and talk to someone to get thr actual hours. Closed an hour early and it wasn't a holiday.

I have a very old car that was not maintained well by the previous owner and all of the maintenance issues have been coming all at once lately. Bob and Larry over at Robert's have done more for my car situation than any other mechanic has in the past. They've been patient, helpful, understanding. I can't recommend these guys more. They've been so unbelievably great, I'll continue to go to them even when I get a different car in the future. Knowledgeable and helpful staff who I've found to be honest and trustworthy. Top priorities when I select a repair shop.They've spent time helping me diagnose problems with my car which I repaired myself. No money in it for them but they still helped!

To say the least I have had good and bad experiences with Bob and Larry. For the most part the bad was due to failing my vehicle because of repairs needed. I had just gotten wheels put on at a different location and they could not see the bad ball joints and struts while doing so apparently. But Larry and Bob noticed them right away and told me about them. They did not put a red sticker on, but instead told me to save the money and get the work done. After done bring it back. I left a bit upset mostly cause wasn t expecting extra cost. But they were very honest and professional about it. Your safety is their main concern and priority. That means a lot to me. Many places will pass it for certain little things instead. If you want honesty take it to then. This weekend Bob set things aside to get my truck in for bearings. I have been going into this place since 2010 for my car inspections. I have always had a pleasant experience. Staff very friendly and polite. We need more business to handle customers this way. You will gain more customers and will gain loyal and long term customers as well.

Went in for a state inspection. The young gentleman doing the inspections had a great attitude and greeted everyone with a smile. In-and-out in fifteen minutes. The guy even showed me how to lift my headlights a bit. I hope this dude wins the lottery. Will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of meeting Larry today when i went in for my inspection. He greeted me saying hello friend! What can i do for you today . That pleasant greeting resided heavily with me because if Jesus called his enemy a friend, then how nice it is to hear it from an imperfect flesh to another. To me, It was perceived as care without condition from Larry, which was very appreciated. These guys have always done what I've asked of them. If they find an issue they let me know but usually they tell me it can wait, or it's something they don't do. I like their honesty

I work on my own truck but I take it to Robert's for inspection and they are always very friendly and fast. I have heard them talk to other customers about problems and they always seem to be honest and helpful. Not something I've experienced at many other places.

First off, the boss is an arrogant pompous a$$ hole to say the least.I keep going back for the service that his one staff member provides.If it weren't for him then I'd leave this place in the dust.The owner needs a wake up call if he's not going to return calls to customers just sell the place already!!It could be in WAY BETTER HANDS!!

I went here for my State inspection. They were very thorough. Explained why my car failed. Showed me what things were wrong, and took the time to explain so I could understand and explain to my mechanic. Told me if my mechanic couldn t /wouldn t fix, bring the car back to them and they would fix the issues. I ve never had an State inspection done so professionally and trust what was being showed me. Very efficient and worth the wait.

The only place I'll go to for an inspection year after year. The younger guy (I usually get him) is very knowledgeable and takes the time to make sure you understand what your car needs. Grateful this place exists!

My husband and I recently moved to Massachusetts from Louisiana, so we needed somewhere to have inspection done. There was a little wait but once it was my turn I was in and out in just under 20 minutes. The staff was quick, kind, and personable. Definitely would recommend and will visit again.

Came to the shop for the first time for an inspection sticker. I called in the morning and got the answering machine, didn t leave a message and was called back within 5 minutes. Inspection service was very timely, the workers are polite and have good knowledge. Will definitely be returning for inspections and maintenance in future!

Brought my car in for an inspection sticker. Excellent service, friendly and professional. Only took about 15 minutes. Probably saved a lot of time Not having to listen to multiple sales pitches. Didn't try to force a cabin air filter or a change of brake fluid on me. They just drove the vehicle in and I was out in no time.

The best car inspection station in the area! Always very thorough and quick. Each time that the car I brought in failed to pass the guys would explain things simply and, if small, offer to take care of it immediately, if on the more in depth side they would suggest places to go. One time the car I had failed because of a mistake made by the dealer who had recently done a brake job and the guys at Robert's essentially told me exactly how to deal with the dealership to get things resolved in the simplest way possible.

I always receive excellent service at Roberts Auto! I wouldn t go anywhere else for an inspection. They also recently changed out my battery and charged me a very fair price for great quality. Best, honest work around. My 2014 Dodge van drives as smoothly as it did the day I drove it off the lot. I regret not doing previous repairs to my 2007 Nitro here. I won't make that mistake again. Robert and his crew have earned my loyalty.

I always get my car inspected here. They are quick, very knowledgeable, and super friendly! If they find something wrong with my car they explain the situation in such a way that anyone can understand. They truly value transparency and customer service.

To Donny RobertsOur inspections are on camera..so if necessary..have them reviewed to see if we punctured the hole in your body panels more. Your left outer tie rod has movement, and your upper ball joint is bad..again..both on the drivers side, as your inspection report says.Normally, if all that is wrong is windshield washers and a torn wiper, we gladly add fluid, for free, and offer to replace said torn wiper.Lastly..your vehicle does not come equipped with said idler, or pitman arm. We re sorry for said bad experience, but can assure you your inspection was done properly, and is all reviewable based on camera footage, by the commonwealth. If you would like to challenge said inspection..the proper forms are available at the mass dot website. Thank you.-the inspector.

We used them after moving here and having to get car inspections. The service there is quick and professional. After my inspection, the young man reviewed my car and was very knowledgeable about the specifics of my current car and the features that make it very safe. I highly recommend Roberts for your auto care needs.

Got my inspection sticker quickly without any hassle. Larry is the reason I'll be coming back. He was knowledgeable, quick and upbeat. He showed me what needed to be done and didn't try to scare me into expensive, unecciscary upgrades & maintenance like my dealership does.

Really happy with the service here. Their shop is clean on the outside as well as on the inside, I was greeted by Larry, the mechanic, as soon as I arrived and then he conducted the state inspection I needed for my car in about 10 minutes and then we talked a bit on my way out. Great customer service, great service, and an honest shop, I'll definitely be coming back

Fast, friendly, and no gimmicks service here. The team is prompt and straight forward. I stopped in for a state inspection when my usual garage closed on Saturday without warning. I have now found my new garage. Great job to he team here.
