The manager is an outstanding, gent with a beard better than mine. For years he's shown customer service to higher standard and has the satisfaction of the customer in mind...for me I know for sure..and for years. He remembers me all this time as well as his staff whom represent his LEADERSHIP with professionalism and that professional is reflected. Good to see the same faces over time. LEADERSHIP! Been a loyal customer since 2010 and the staff at this place is why I'll come back. Thank you for your help!

I went to this location for the first time and the guys were very nice. Unfortunately later the same day I drop my car off for a transmission fluid change at my mechanic and he tells me there's oil leaking everywhere and he had to replace the oil filter and clean everything up. There was also only about one quart of transmission fluid that came out of my car, so I'm not sure if this was related but I've never had a problem beforehand. I'm disappointed but just wanted to give my experience. Otherwise it sounds like they do a good job, just was not my experience.

My dad sent me here to get a transmission oil change. The process was easy, stayed in my car the whole time. I even had an issue with my card and they were so patient and kind. Aalish was my service attendant and I recommended them. Thank you!

Staff is great! Last week I was there to do oil change my first time in this place and let me say y all do a great job! Definitely I will be back to do all maintenance need it for my car or any other repairs y all can do there. Thank you all.

Have been to this Valvoline location several times for oil changes, wipers, tire pressure, etc. they are always professional, helpful, and courteous. Cannot say enough good things about this the team. Thank you.

excellent service super qualified professionals extremely clean place. I'm going to talk a little about the experience I had today at the Somerville volveline, I went to change the oil in my car and I was extremely well attended by the employee called ADRIANO. he is a super polite, attentive, helpful person and answered all my doubts regarding my car. in short , I went to do a simple oil change and through the tips and information of a well trained and qualified professional I bought several services that Valvoline offers , I bought the following services that the company offers.Full Synthetic Oil Change Complete Fuel System Wiper Replacement-Passenger Power Steering Fld Replacement Wiper Replacement-Driver Radiator Fld Replacement Wiper Replacement-RearI highly recommend everyone to go to Volvoline in Somerville to do the maintenance of their cars because they have extremely qualified professionals and if possible look for Adriano who will be very well attended. recommend 10/10

Came here for an oil change, they saw one of the headlights were out and luckily we had a bulb with us, they offered to fix it for us for such a small price. Whole thing probably took only 10 minutes total! Friendly people and great service, we were helped by Ryan and Benji. 10/10 recommend :)

This location has gotten me out of multiple pinches with my old car. They don't take appointments so I can go whenever suits my schedule, and the line is never longer than 15 mins (but I usually don't have to wait). The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and if there is a service they can't address they give me advice before I take it to a full service mechanic.

I will write a more in depth review later, as it is warranted after my experience bringing in our Audi to be serviced for an oil change and general check up. After everything, using a coupon found on Yelp it was around $120. They did fine on the oil change and said they checked all the fluids as was included in the Service. Later that very day the car was giving warnings about being low on coolant, which is was not saying previous to the Oil Change and Fluid Check. Although it was easy to remedy for me as I know a thing or two about cars and was able to fill it up with Coolant, when I checked and it was BONE DRY. Bone dry is not a good level of moisture for such a thing. Ever. If I am paying someone to change oil and make sure one of the very few amount of fluids any car has to check are actually checked... am I actually getting what I paid for?No or no?From a point of having integrity and quality control one can trust, it is a shame this is the case as the customer service wasn't bad at all. But, I could see why other people would feel the customer service skills are lacking at this place. Even though I am from California, I am still a Masshole at heart. Alright? Have we settled that? I sort of want to reach out this Valvoline and tell them about this via phone and recommend they give me us a partial discount. Alas, I am not some ten cent nickel and dimer like someone from New Jersey. You know what I'm saying? We can all agree Jersey sucks. Right? It s one thing we can all agree on. You know what the best thing about New Jersey is? You can see the Manhattan Skyline from it. They call it the armpit of America for a reason.I digress. All I ask is this Valvoline makes sure that they actually do check the fluid levels correctly because if this happened to my woman and I wasn't around to help her this could have been a major issue that ruined the car. What if my Grandmother, my own Grandmother had this happen to her?I am just asking for some accountability from the staff and am willing to provide details and receipts from the transaction which took place on August 31st or September 1st of 2023 for what it's worth. So it wasn't even that long ago. And by the way, I was told by a family friend who is a Mass Native ahead of this to not trust places like this in Mass because they forget simple basic things like that on a regular basis that we in California rarely have any issues with. Rarely ever. So, bearing that in mind, if you are not a Masshole or Honorary Masshole like myself - be aware that you may want to also check the levels of your fluids yourself and maybe carry some Coolant on you in case you pay these people $120 to not even fully do the job right.Thanks for doing the oil change part though. I blame the guy whose job it was to check the fluids for saying the fluids were proper for giving the improper diagnosis. Proper Diagnosis would have been "Bone Dry" and not "Correct Levels". At least it really was fast. Didn't even have to wait at all. Just pulled up, it happened and we left.I can recommend this place because its fast but I in no way am recommending this place to you if you want to be sure you will have your Oil Change/ Fluid Check or really any job you go to them for done correctly. Got it?

This location has always provided prompt, thorough service for my oil change. They offer additional services with no pressure, and will tell me when my engine and interior cabin filters are ok or if they need changing. I never feel pressured to buy more services than I came for. Staff is courteous and efficient.

Friendly staff and very fast service. They were also not trying to make me buy things I didn't need like I have experienced so many times at other places when getting oil changes. The employees were kind and talked me through everything and confirmed what I wanted. Thanks again for the quick excellent service!

Came here for an oil change.Was hesitant at first because I usually use the dealer. Not any more, they are prompt, professional and thorough.The pricing is excellent and they do a thorough inspection of your vehicle and recommend what is needed, but do not apply pressure to up-sell. Well done!

Best oil change service I've ever had. It was hot and end of the day (and the work is not easy) but the staff were extremely helpful and friendly which is not what I've grown accustomed to when getting my oil changed. It seems like so many places stopped caring about quality and customer service lately but I'm taking the time to write this to say that I will be back because of it. Thank you from a new customer!

I've been going here for years.....the employees are always polite, professional and friendly. They're also honest & knowledgeable. "Robert" helped me last night. He provided me with outstanding customer service. Also, "Jessica" is always great. She actually helped me locate a 20% online coupon, which saved me almost $40.....she went above & beyond to help me out and I truly appreciate her efforts. This is why I always come to this particular Valvoline location. Thank you all! I highly recommend this place for any of their services.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I bought a Groupon for an oil change. It said you could buy one once every 365 days and it had been one year since the last time. The technician told me it's one Groupon per vehicle and you can never use another. He said it's so you try them and decide to come back. The irony is that I decided to leave without the oil change, refund the groupon, and will never come back.

I went for an oil change and stayed in the car the entire time. It was a very pleasant experience with almost no wait time. Robert explained the process to me and answered all my questions. They looked at all my car's vitals including lights, blinkers and any fluids. It was a comprehensive and satisfying experience coupled with a groupon voucher that meant I paid less than 2 dollars.

Huge recommendation for the location on 182 Washington street, Somerville. They are fast, patient, nice and knowledgeable. They told me what needed to be changed and took time to explain the reason. I asked them to wait for me to check the cost online, and they just waited until I decided. Costs are comparable to reviews online. Of course, costs are a bit higher than if one would do it him/herself but that's the cost of their time doing something I cannot do myself. I think Matthew + 1 person worked on my car. Both smiling and polite. The manager (Jessica?) seems a tough lady but very efficient and nice, too, and I admire a lady that manages such a place. Small place, but I call in 10 min before and I was served as soon as i arrived. Overall, very pleasant experience.

Great service! Fast and easy. Don't even have to get out of the car. I love the new computer systems they use with the monitor. They also keep your History updated through Carfax.

My husband and I just left from getting an oil change and I had to write a review. So friendly and professional! I think the person who serviced us was Walid, if I read his name tag correctly. Such great service and so professional and nice. We don t see that as much anymore and we really appreciated it.

I would had given a 5 star if only they had the 10w30 oil . This has been second time I come and they don't have it , I have to drive to everett for this specif oil the Staff is very friendly and very welcoming I just wish they had what I needed since is closer to home.

I always stop in to have the awesome staff check my fluid levels, air pressure and anything else before linger travels in between my oil change. Everyone is very friendly and not pushy by any means! They re definitely happy to help with an efficient and speedy service. You can tell the morale among everyone is top notch and they take their jobs very seriously.

Went for an oil change, had a broken skin plate although it wasn't part of the job they took the time to fix it for me. I can't say how much I appreciate the people who works here.
