First time visiting this location and I have to say Maria was an absolute gem. No offense at all she is a woman who really knows her stuff and it really surprised me how much knowledge she had and she even shared with me. I appreciate her help, her recommendations and her hospitality was really the best part of the visit besides the services I received. From here on out I do not mind taking a further drive to this location just to receive great customer service and actually see people know what they are doing. Maria and her team were exceptional today. 10 starrs!

I m very grateful to have gone to this location. Just needed a quick oil change near closing time and Chris and his team (Onick) were amazing. I was having a few other issues with my car and they were so friendly, answering all my questions thoroughly and patiently while getting me out quickly.

I took my Huyundai Sante Fe there and had the transmission fluid changed. The next day my car was stuck in park and would not shift. I had to junk my car after that. I will never go back there again.

First time at the Shrewsbury location on Boston turnpike rd was excellent from start to finish. Staff was efficient, respectful, communicated well and appeared to work very well as a team. I will drive the extra distance to return to this location in the future. Highly recommend.

Awful. Previously was shorted one quart of oil on change. They tried to tell me I was burning oil. Really, down a quart after 100 miles? Failed to tighten the oil filter last time and wound up with oil stains on my garage floor. Nothing done so far after three phone calls. Stay away!

Came here the other day for the first time with my aunt for an oil change and the experience was great! Terrence was very knowledgeable and quick as well as the short brunette girl with no name tag. 5/5!

Didn t put my plate back on. Feel off when I was driving. The staff were clueless at best when it came to just about anything there! Do. Not go if you d like to keep your car!

While getting my girlfriend's oil changed they overinflated the tires on the driver side of the vehicle. I now need to replace 2 tires with only 10k miles because there are bubbles in the sidewall

Service was quick and easy, which was exactly what we needed, and their pricing is reasonable. The staff here is friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. There was a bit of a wait for services at the time, but even with that, we were still in and out of the oil change faster than any of the other locations we've gotten oil changes at. I would highly recommend this location. It was well worth going a little out of the way to get the car taken care of.

Tip of the hat to the crew at the Valvoline shop in Shrewsbury (corner of Route 9 and Lake Street). Employees Jo Jo and Ryan (and two others whose names I didn't get) did a great job in changing my oil on a busy Friday afternoon when there were about 10 cars within a 30-40 minute period. When I asked how many cars the crew had serviced that day, Jo Jo said 47. He said the volume of cars services wasn't a problem, but the bigger challenge was that the crew was short staffed. They had only five people working when there should have been eight.The job is not easy, but all the guys (plus one gal I believe working in the pit below ground level) all were great. As consumers people shouldn't forget that the work is not easy and the pay likely not great. Each person brought some skill to their work. Hoping they succeed in that work and that it lays a foundation for them to someday move on to opportunities that allow them to increase their income.Thanks again guys and gals. Maria, the Assistant Manager, is perhaps one of the friendliest, most knowledgeable, and most attentive auto mechanics I have worked with. She genuinely wants her customers to leave feeling satisfied with the work they paid for and secure in the fact that their car is running well. In July, I went to Shrewsbury Valvoline for an oil change and they ended up changing the transmission fluid as well. A week later, I was driving west on I-90 leaving Boston and I heard a loud pop and then a constant scraping noise. I pulled to the side of the highway to find that my skid plate was not secured properly after my oil change. I had to spend a Sunday afternoon at a Goodyear tire having my skid plate zip tied. Then, I was told by the manager repeatedly that they would order the part and replace it for me. After a month had passed, I was preparing for a move back to Indiana, and I was told the part never came in. The manager told me (in writing) I could get it replaced once I moved and they would send me a check. A check never arrived. I called repeatedly to follow up on the check being sent and informed the manager that I never received it. He said another could be sent. Now it is mid-November and I have never received reimbursement for a part that was damaged from service at this location. Unfortunately, I do not recommend getting your car serviced here.Services: Transmission, Oil change

**Beware of this location** I usually have a pretty good experience at Valvoline. I am usually in and out. However, this was not the case for this location.This was the second location that I visited during the day, the first one politely told me they were understaffed and said that the wait was going to be a while.So, I decided to visit the Shrewsbury location. I pulled up to Valvoline, only to wait 15mins to be greeted. When I told them I needed a transmission flush and new fluids, they seemed unsure of how to do it.This did not make me feel at ease. There were about 5 people there, and only one seemed to be working. All of the other staff were roaming around swearing and playing on their phones, which is extremely unprofessional.It took about 30 minutes for me to get any attention, and when I did they asked me again what I needed. I then explained on more time, They all looked at each other and were asking how do we do this.I was scared at this point and did not want them to damage the transmission. I did this same service at the Nashua location and it was seamless.The one guy that was working was going in circles and then came back to my car and said that they did not have the tools to perform the service.At this point, I waisted close to 1 hour, and got nothing resolved. I was somewhat happy because they could seriously ruin a car if they did not know what they were doing.I will never go back to this location, I might not even go back to Valvoline after all of this, if you are reading this stay away from this location.Service: Transmission

I arrived when they opened and waited about 35 minutes for an oil change. When I pulled into the bay the guy said it would be another 15-20 minutes. After 20 minutes a guy finally started checking me in but almost immediately his cell phone rang and he stepped out to answer what I m assuming was a personal call. I waited another 15 minutes before I ended up just leaving because I had an appointment I had to get to. I m a travel nurse and I drive a LOT. I ve been working 12hr days so I haven t been able to get my oil changed for several days since the light turned on. This was the only break in my schedule I had, which makes me really nervous because of all the driving that I do. Not happy with the service I received at all.

Arrived at 4pm and waited 1.5hrs for an oil change. The crew seemed tired and not interested. Vocalizing about not wanting to be there, checking their phones, walking around slow etc. They called an expensive car in front of me assuring we would be serviced at the same time. This was not true. They just enter information on the computer instead of performing the tasks or interacting with the car. I m sure it would be better to just have come earlier in the day or if I was pushy. Since I m quiet, polite, and patient I did not get the advertised speedy service.

Really very quick, ten to fifteen minutes maximum to replace the oil. No need of any booking just drive in and get the job done. All the time just stay in your car. Very safe interactions in this pandemic situation. Absolutely no worries.They do complete check up and explain you if you need any further service. Always take your consent before doing any. Very nice guys. There won't be any discount at store, download to your mobile if you got any coupons before visiting. They honor it.
