If I could give this place a zero I would. Horrible customer service. Told me it would be an hour for an inspection because no one was there to do inspections. First they rejected my inspection because I side marker light which was working perfectly fine before it went in. So these guys are sketchy for sure.

If I could put a zero, I would do not buy a car off this guy I bought a car back in April. I paid 7000 for it. I had to put at least three grand into it warning warning this guy is a scam artist do not buy a car from him, do not I repeat do not buy a car from him do not give this man any business I took the car back and he said it was Not under warranty, which was a sensor it was $40 I found out Then the rim, tires sensor struts and now shocks also Pass the car illegally because the engine light kept popping on. I had to bring it back three times. This guy is a scam artist do not buy from him. now I had to take back the car again. This guy did not put brakes. He illegally passed it with an inspection sticker I had to put $1500 worth of money into this vehicle. I reported him to the internal generals office into the inspection place they will be watching him. Don t worry guys. We ll get this guy, he needs to be stopped. He s a scam artist and he also smoked in my car that I was buying and burnt the hole in the seat. They smoke in their vehicles that they re working on. It s disgusting.

Do NOT buy a car threw them from car guru! I agreeed to but a Malibu if they fixed the issue and it s the front passenger tire after test driving it ! They aggreed we left came back after they said they fixed it and we did not hear the noise no longer! So be bought it not even 3 weeks later I contacted them and said the noise is back thier first response was it s been almost a month it s no longer covered as in not thier problem! And let me tell you it s been a issue ever since my car has been over heating j had a oil change done not even 2 weeks later it said I needed oil and the whole oil tank was bone dry it s issue after issue! They do not care about anything else then getting paid by car guru because then it s no longer thier problem when they sold me the car knowing it wasn t fixed and when I contacted them multiple times it wasn t thoer problem anymore! Do not get stuck in this situation like me cause guess what the 1800$ add on for coverage in case something needs to be fixed only covers certain things and not one issue is covered so I m paying out of pocket to fix a car this place said was fixed in order for me to buy the damn car! Never again so I m warning e eryone that else ! Because guess who has to pay out of pocket to pay for a car that I have car payments on ! Me! Un real do NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!

Did my oil change today with these guys and have done other business with them. They are very professional and very honest I had a situation with my car and they took care of it and put in the right parts. The owner Jay is awesome and his workers especially Tom you can tell they care about your car and most importantly you. Easy, quick state (RI and Mass) inspections. Walked in a few weeks ago with my husband's car and it was done in under 30 mins without an appointment. Brought my car in yesterday and another great experience in under 30 minutes! Fast friendly service.

They always find a reason to get you on something if you're doing an inspection on your car, whether it be wipers or a light bulb. Don't think there was ever a time for me or my family that they have visited this place and they have not found an issue. But I have gone to other places and have been fine with no problems.. It is also very hard to find the phone number.

I went in to get my car inspected and I couldn't be any happier with the service. Everyone that works there is kind and respectful. I was in and out in no time! Great place! I would highly reccomend to friends and family.

Great service and price. Co worker gave me address & phone #. I only had to replace a part of the muffler system not the whole kit. Sullivan tire is where I usually go, but was told they have to replace whole kit. Don't do piece work. That can get very expensive & I just don't have that kind of $now. Price for part & labor very reasonable. I will definitely be back here to do any further repairs. Was even close enough for me to take cab to work, so didn't have to take a day off.Done in 1 day, do make appt ,not sure if open on weekends as had this done on a Friday. Highly Recommended. Nice guy,he earned every star!

Bought a car recently for my daughter. Great experience, very laid back and fair price. Car had carfax history also. Worked with Jacob for test drive etc absolutely no pressure. Owner Jay nice guy assured car was in good shape and was always working hands on on vehicles when I was there. My mechanic checked out after to make note of any maintenance or safety concerns and said car is in excellent shape. I'm aware older reviews might scare people as i read them initially but this is new owner/manager than previous so wanted to be sure to leave an accurate, more recent account of what to expect. I would work with them again and trust them.

Fast service and affordable. Went for a repair and inspection and the team did a fantastic job, walked me through everything I didn't understand and quickly ordered parts to get me back on the road quickly. The new owner Jay was very helpful and took the time to explain everything to me in regards to my vehicle. He was not pushy at all and I could tell that he was willing to help whether I was going to give him my business or not. I have to say my vehicle is running like brand new. This is definitely going to be my go-to shop going forward! Highly recommended!

I would like to preface this by saying this is the first time I have ever written a bad review IN MY LIFE.As soon as I walked into the waiting area I should have known this isn t the type of shop I wanted working on my car. The place smelt like cigarettes, and the once white walls were dirty and smeared with what I am assuming is grease from workers hands. I needed an inspection so against my better judgment I let them do the work. When my car was returned to me it reeked of cigarette smoke. I called to make sure they didn t smoke in my car while it was being inspected and after I had expressed my concerns they left me with zero resolutions and said I don t know what to tell you, just drive around with your windows down and hung up on me. If you don t want you car to smell like smoke stay far away from this place.

I thought everything well go smoothly and my car would pass the state inspection. I have a 15 yrs old Rav4 and in the state of MA, 15 yrs or older vehicle you'll pass with flying colors due to emissions saftey, and I knew my car condition before coming to the shop and wasnt worried about failing. When the gentleman i started the inspection, he claimed my rear brakes and rotors needed to be replaced asap due to it being "low" and if not ill fail. I looked at him weird and refused- I remember I got my brakes and rotors done 4 months ago at the dealer. Long story short, he failed me with a "Red" R sticker. Wasted $35 and my time that ill never get back...

The new owner Jay is great, took my cars to him and the repair was done quick and on time, they were true to the estimate they gave me and did not go over at all. I highly recommend them to everyone for all your car repair needs. There are a lot negative reviews for this place but I think they're great. I've been there twice with two different cars and I feel like they've been honest about what the issues were and fair with the price. They've definitely been helpful both times, and saved me money.A lot of people are calling them grumpy, but that has nothing to do with the quality of a mechanic. I'm going to guess half of these 5 star reviews are fake and paid for. My elderly parents had a similar experience to many here regarding inspection. Given an R and they were utterly reamed with costly repairs (including rear brakes, which others here have mentioned) that they "needed" in order to pass. Car never had issues and other mechanics never warned about anything in the past. Avoid.

DO NOT go here READ the REVIEWS. PleaseI went to Steven's Sunoco for a standard Mass inspection. I expected to be in and out quickly because there was nothing wrong with my car. I just bought it a week ago and had already inspected everything myself.1. Receptionist was rude and did not like to do her job.2. After 25 mins Steve comes out and tells me I have two license plate light bulbs out. I walk to my car to take a look and tap the housing 2 times and the bulb goes right on. I told him to fix both the bulbs because they had never been replaced. Very easy job. After another 20 mins he comes back in and says the screw was already stripped. I didn't bother trying to argue. They had to boar out the "stripped" screw which had only been touched by them and the factory.3. Complete hack job. To replace my 2 license plate bulbs and destroy one light bulb housing cost me $40Bulbs cost $1 each. Steven completely ripped me off. Do not go here!

He wrongly rejected my inspection telling me that i had the side lights out and the suspension was faulty. Let me tell you that a month ago i got replaced a tire and the rim in Ford Seekonk and they did the alignment and stuff. He was aggressive and dishonest. Did not offer me to change the lights or anything else just changed the sticker and when i asked him why didn t tell me first he just started yelling at me nonsense. I really felt hopeless and abused. He took advantage of me.Today i went to my regular mechanics that i did not go before bc i moved 3 cities away from them. At first they did no pay attention to me when i told them what the other guy did. After they checked everything the first time i just heard the owner telling his employee BUT HE FAILED HER like 3 times. Then they checked again and again and the only thing wrong was that one of the lights for the license plate was out. My car was fine and i got my inspection done right. I ll report this business to the State.Sorry for the typos.

Had an inspection and oil changed. It was fast (about 40 minutes from start to finish) One star off for having a $30 oil change that does not include windshield wiper fluid top-off as done in Midas and other oil change places for less money. People are pleasant and honest. Would go again.

Is the owner grumpy? Yes. Is the place dirty? Yes. Is it the friendliest environment? Not really. But at the end of the day the owner (Randy) seems to be an honest mechanic. He was kind enough to ask me if I needed help late on a Sunday night when he saw my hood up in a nearby parking lot when my car over heated. He worked quickly and his prices were reasonable. He charged me $350 to replace radiator in a 2006 Hyundai Sonata. If you can get past the grumpiness is an okay place with what appears to be an honest mechanic.

Be ware of lies:brought my car in for inspections, Was told that it'll take 10 minutes, but it took about 15 minutes for them to take my car into the bay. once there, they found out that one of my license light was out, told me that it will take $20 to fix it. I said go ahead. 65 minutes later, they charged me 29(state inspection fee)+2(credit card fee)+25 for the light. I asked why the extra 5 bucks? they said that it is the cost of the light bulb. so, they charged me 56 dollars for overall service. I though it was fine, whatever i got the light bulb fix. then, his mechanic walked in and told me that it was the circuit for the bulb that was broke, and they could not fix the problem.the owner, (my guess is steven), then told me that he should have charged me $80 for all of these problem, and he shouldn't have given me the inspection sticker, but since one of my light is working, "he left it fly".So, i paid 56 dollars just to get the sticker, pay for his mechanic to Stripe one of my screw, realize that it's not the lightbulb, it's the housing, and didn't fix the problem.Never again. disappointed at all level.

This place is a money grab. Wouldn t recommend to anyone the bald head mr clean mechanic is as crooked as it gets. I seen them charge someone $992 FOR BRAKES!!! Anyone with a brain wouldn t come here.

My moms car stopped and was told by a AAA driver who towed her car to this service center that this person was good. He told my mom the starter was bad and had to be replaced. The total bill came $420.98 for the part and labor. He said he replaced it with a new starter. I took a look see on the web and found the starters range in price from $57.00 dollars rebuilt to $175.00 for a new one. Do the math for the first hour of labor for a mechanic is approximately $125.00. The job may take thirty to forty five minutes. That said the bill should not have been $420.00, more like $300.00 plus tax to me. This person took unfair advantage of a senior citizen and should be investigated by the states BBB for overcharging, gouging customers.

This garage is under new management and the new owner, Jay, is very professional and helpful. He went above and beyond to repair my car and gave me a lower price than any other garage in the area. Most rude person Ive ever dealt with at a garage. I don t mind dirty places as long as they are fair and honest. This gentleman was neither. In a pinch for an inspection and was charged over $40 in labor for 5 minutes worth of changing out bulbs.
