First (but not last) time customer. I discovered this great shop about a month ago. John and staff were fantastic right from the outset. Professional, friendly, efficient, and honest. Returned my call promptly with a very reasonable quote for the 100K maintenance work recommended for my Acura TLX (replace timing and serpentine belts, tensioner, spark plugs). Was able to fit me in on short notice and had all work completed by the end of the same day, as stated--and true to quote. No hidden or surprise charges. So, today, when my nose told me that something had crawled up into somewhere under my hood and died there, I went right to Wakefield Auto. Without any advance notice and with a generous spirit, John took my car in to find and resolve the problem. From every aspect, I couldn't be happier with this shop and would recommend them without hesitation!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I ran into a problem with a broken oil filter while driving through town at 5pm. This place was willing to let me bring it in within an hour of their closing time. They got it up on the lift, fixed it, cleaned up the mess and got me on my way. I can t thank them enough. I recommend them 1000%.

I took my jeep to Wakefield Auto to have a lift kit installed and I can't say enough good things about John and his staff. They did exceptional work at a very fair price. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. I will certainly make them my "go to" shop for any work I need in the future.

Recently brought my Chevy Silverado over to John Cadman at chaotic customs/Wakefield auto repair and I only have good things to say, John and his guys installed a 6.5 Bilstien super lift kit as well as some sweet 22 fuel maverick rims and 35 cooper tires. My truck now looks like a beast and runs and rides just as smooth as the day she came out of the showroom, I d highly recommend John and his guys to anyone on the north shore area and beyond looking to have this kind of work done! Very fair pricing for top quality work also, I ll be returning in future for sure.

Great and trustworthy mechanics. I had an issue with my side view mirror that I thought was more serious than it was, but the mechanic told me how to easily fix it myself, and he didn't even charge me for a consultation or anything!

They ruined my husband's truck.. And it cost us almost $3000. They were suppose to put in front coil springes and spacer blocks- I have no idea about trucks and stuff but my husband is not happy. They broke a piece off and threw it in the back of the truck.. Who does that? The truck is higher on one side..its completely lopsided.. Looks awful. They also didnt tell him how much it would be even though he called and called day after day with no call back. The day he went in to pick it up they told him how much which was way more then he ever thought.. How can you charge someone for a truck you ruined, made lopsided (sp?) and even broke a piece off and through it in the back of the truck? He regrets ever going there.
