Had a rear tire replace on my kawasaki concours. Great price and super service. Guys were friendly and accommodating. Would go there again. Owner used to b the service manager at G &G cycles which was next door. Friend is bringing his rocket 3 there for service because my experience was sooooo good. Thanks again guys. You're awesome!!!

Brought my 4-wheeler in for carburetor and brake work. Picked it up today, and am very pleased with the work Rob performed and feel what I was charged was reasonable. Trust worthy shop and they have plenty of experience. If you want honesty, fair prices, and great quality work then this is your place. I have a Suzuki c90 boss edition and they have tuned up, put on a fairing with radio, oil changes, change tires, replaced some body parts as well.

Explained everything that was wrong and had been done to my son's 4-wheeler before I brought it there, and was told to bring it on down. Got there and they informed me that, since I called, they realized the parts would be hard to find and wanted $1,000 up front and basically said he didn't want to work on it. This would have been much better information before I drove 65 miles to drop it off.

Very skilled with new and older machines. Encyclopedic knowledge of what can go wrong in a variety of bikes, sleds, quads, etc and how best to fix them. Small shop but good mechanics.

I was recommended to come here which I strongly regret doing. I had my Waverunner's impeller replaced here during the busy month of June. Days after the repair I had immediate issues on the water. Bringing it to a different shop this time I was informed of multiple mistakes made by Claxton Powersports during the impeller replacement. Over tightening of bolts which had to be broken free (by professionals). An entire tube of silicone was smothered all over which could have caused serious cavitation during riding had it not been removed in time. Claxton Powersports also told me I didn't need a new ring to be installed with the new impeller because mine was "fine" yet later to find out from a professional elsewhere that new rings should always be changed when installing a new impeller. I wish I just went to my local shop the first time. Would have saved me $200 for a new transom plate/bolts and $350 in labor I paid to remove all the excess silicone smothered by Claxton Powersports. My trusted mechanic asked me if I was rushing them to get the job done in time by Claxton Powersports because it looked VERY sloppy he said. I did not rush them not even once! Very disappointed especially after being told Rick is great and highly intelligible. Apparently when they're busy you don't get the best results. From what I've heard Rick is really great. But they must've put a guy on the job who clearly wasn't experienced. Whatever happened, please think twice before taking your precious machine here. You might get lucky, or you might get screwed with the same guy who doesn't know what he's doing. BEWARE

Rick and his team are top notch. Rick has maintained my sport bikes for many years, even before he went out on his own (back in the G&G Cycle days). You won't find a nicer, more reliable and honest mechanic as Rick. He is fair, he knows his stuff and he won't take you to the cleaners.

Masters at older bikes..not many shops left that can work on old bikes..very nice guys in there at an affordable price..my zrx 1100 keeps getting gummed up in the carbs..today's gas or bike just sitting around during these mega muggy days gumms em up after just weeks at a time.. fuel injection bike definitely next..

They have worked on our ATVs and Snowmobiles and nothing but top quality workmanship. Did a great job doing some carb work on an 83 xr 500 a few years back.I did try to bring in a 84 virago 1000 bobber that needed some carb work more recently and they wouldn't take the job... I can't blame them though since virago's are a PAIN.Overall, their work on the XR was too good to give anything less than 5 stars.

Good people. Thought I had a tire that went out of balance that was mounted by someone else. They checked it and didn't want to charge me. Think this says a lot about their business.
