Spinale Automotive is the best repair shop I've been going to for 15 years. I trust John more than the dealership mechanics that ALWAYS want to sell you unnecessary repairs. He's always nice, honest and will fit you when possible. No mechanic will explain you the problem and give you the best possible solution without breaking the bank. Thank you!

John is the best mechanic in town. I've been going to him for ten years. No mechanic will treat you with more respect. He is honest, caring, and patient. And he will listen to you! Very efficient, and quick.He stays busy because of return business, but he will generally fit you in when possible. Spinale Automotive Repair is the absolute best that the North Shore can offer. We have lots of other good mech shops, but they all are striving to meet the Spinale standard. I absolutely trust this shop! Everyone else is just okay. --Mik

I needed brake work & Spinale's was recommended. He was very nice over the phone. He gave me an appointment for the following day & even helped me a with loaner car so I could go home to wait for the work to be done.

I ve had several bad experiences with this place. Both my elderly father and I have used this service - I needed an exhaust leak fixed and he needed cylinders in his engine replaced. The owner of this place claims to do work he doesn t do. Both of us brought our cars to different auto repair shops and BOTH mechanics discovered the inconsistencies and that he had never replaced the parts. He also doesn t give receipts, which is odd and such a red flag. I m upset I wasted so much money on this joke. This place is a complete rip-off and clearly has no problem blatantly scamming people. I do not recommend!!

John did such a great job on my car & the price was more than fair. Also he is the nicest guy! I can t recommend this place enough. I will always take my car to him.

Look John is a really nice guy. I just don't believe him to be a competent mechanic. I had an exhaust problem for months. I kept on taking it in to him to get fixed. Each time he told me he did his best to save me money. Unfortunately the problem kept happening and all of those visits, while inexpensive, eventually started to add up. I decided to get a second opinion at Meineke. They were able to fix the exhaust issue in one visit! 4 months later I'm at a new mechanic in Boston and they are telling me that it looks like my car hasn't been properly serviced in years. They said whoever I've been bringing my car to has been ignoring several issues that have significantly shortened the life of my car. Like I said, John is a nice guy, but I REALLY regret ever bringing my car to him.

I feel like it's rare to find a shop like this with such an awesome mechanic these days. Nothing but good things to say about this place! Had to get my breaks and rotors done quickly and I was in and out within hours for a much better price than I got quoted elsewhere! This guy is honest and you can tell that he takes pride in his craft. Go here

Took our Lexus here to be serviced. Do not let this man work on your brakes. Upon leaving after picking up the vehicle, the front of the car started pulsating and moving erratically. Took it to the dealer to spend another 500 to have my brakes after spending a little over 400 on this joke. Thank you and never again
