This was my first time having to use the Ira Service Department. (I bought windshield wipers previously, I did not have good luck with them from the beginning, the driver s side blade did not clear off the rain/snow right in my line of sight. I called and was told that it wasn t their responsibility, so just come back in and but some new ones.) Very disappointing! But I decided to give Ira another try.I made the appointment online - website was easy to navigate.I was able to get a loner - which was very much appreciated. (It was very important for me that particular day!)The Service person, Malan, was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. I even called to ask for explanation of something on the Service Report and he was very pleasant and helpful.My complaint is that when I received my bill I found several items I was unaware were going to be on it. Because on my wiper issue he asked e on the phone if I wanted new ones - I of course said, Yes. I was unaware that I was going to be charged for labor to put them on. If I had, I would have done it myself!!!I was also unaware of the charge for misc/mat haz/wst.I have been a loyal Volvo customer for over 40 years. I have used dealerships in Oregon, Washington, Cape Cod, and now here. I have never had any charges that were not discussed beforehand.Disappointing!

Kostas and Werak were great to work with. They made the buying experience easy with a sincerely friendly environment. They were willing to deal unlike many other dealerships I had visited. I highly recommend this dealership and would like to continue working with them in the future when the time comes.

These guys crushed closing a deal on a used car for my kid....they got the paperwork completed in almost no time while I was on my "lunch break" and delivered the car to me the NEXT MORNING all the way up to NH!!! Highly recommended.Thank you to everyone @ Ira South Shore! Great job!!!

Knowledgeable & helpful staff. Welcoming & inviting waiting area with complimentary coffee & tea. I was also very impressed that my car was ready within the promised time frame. I highly recommend South Shore Volvo!

Very nice place, all the staff were very nice and friendly! In particular, William, the salesman, was very patient in helping me and introducing me to all the features of the car. I would recommend friends to come to this place!

I recently purchased a new vehicle from Ira Volvo. My salesperson Olajide, was friendly, helpful, and listened to my needs and requests. Even when we experienced a miscommunication, the dealership worked hard to get me what I wanted. I highly recommend them!

I dropped my wife s car off here on Monday around noon, because the cab had an odor of rotten eggs. They texted my wife around 2 in the afternoon explaining that they suggested the cabin air filter be replaced and the secondary battery was faulty. They quoted us $119 to replace the air filter and $340 to replace the battery. I felt comfortable replacing the battery myself, because I knew its location under the hood and that it wouldn t take me long to replace. I had no idea where the air filter was so I just told them to replace it. (In hindsight this was lazy of me and I should have done it myself). We didn t get a call back that day, called the next morning at 9:30, no answer, called again a few minutes later was directed to Ira cars central operator who left a message with the service dept that we were looking to get a call back about our car. Waited an hour still no call, called again and finally got in contact with the service dept and they told us that the replaced air filter was going to cost $179 instead of the earlier quote of $119. They ended up honoring the 1st price and I bought a secondary battery from their parts dept for $120. The install took me 15 mins. I m finding it difficult to figure out how they justify $220 labor for 15 mins of work.

Ira volvo of Rockland is incredible . The service department is clean informative and explain all the repairs to you on line . It takes the guess work out of the repairs . You can pick what you want done and it will give you the cost after you approve the work. This is the second time I ve had our vehicle serviced here outstanding work each time . I also purchase the car from them and the sales associates are very nice to deal with no pushy sales .

I am beyond impressed with Henry and his team. They went above and beyond to help me solve an issue. I live on Martha's Vineyard so sometimes solving problems is tough and requires out the box thinking and that is exactly what Henry did. He is a solution orientated problem solver. And a major shout out to Robert who assisted him. Thank you both. You are true rockstars and Volvo is lucky to have you on their team.

Service is always excellent. I have purchased two Volvos from this location over the past 8 years. My second purchase at this location was solely motivated by the Service Department, and the service they provide. (I did have the same sales assistant both times, and he was excellent too.). All my visits, I have dealt with Pat. He is always helpful, professional and communicates any issues in a superb manner. No pressure, and helpful. Making appointments, ease of dropoff, the waiting area..all make for a very pleasant experience.

I grew up in a Volvo family with my Dad buying various P 1800 s from Volvoville, Amityville NY. We sent all our boys to college in safe Volvos. We also have owned 3 Volvos in the last 8 years. So we are now looking again towards the beautiful scandinavian Volvo XC60 B5 plus dark theme all wheel drive. We entered Ira Volvo and were quickly greeted by sales consultant Joshua E. Screen. Big smiles, well dressed and very up on all the Volvo cars and options. Offered us soft drinks, and snacks. He then brought into the sale, Sammy the store manager to finalize the deal. Also big smiles, with lots of positive ideas to make our deal with a trade happen so all sides are happy. We also received a Very nice email from the owner, nice. Almost one year later now we called to make our first appointment for 10K check up. Set it up with service dept, last month. Just called to confirm, and they have no record of it . Made new appointment and they told me they no longer have loaner cars, or do not pick up and deliver to my home as I was told when I purchased this $63k Volvo XC90 Full of lies and lots of other Volvo dealers to take my future business. Stay away from IRA Volvo cars of South Shore. Back to Herb Chambers for us.

I was very pleased to get a next day appointment online. Pat was great and helped me navigate an extended warranty plan that I have for my car. I was going to wait but needed brakes also so he arranged for me to take a loaner car to allow me to run some errrands while the car was being serviced. Very pleased with Ira Volvo Cars South Shore

The Team at Ira Volvo was absolutely amazing in carrying out my engine work. They made the process seamless over multiple visits for testing before the work. They were able to complete the repair at a very low cost which was appreciated. I would highly recommend this service team!

Great group of professional, helpful and polite employees. Pat my service technician kept me updated regarding my oil change process and offered to replace my inspection sticker that was over due. Also had a concern about a registration issue. The managers provided information on how to resolve it that was very helpful. Very comfy waiting accommodations. Snacks and coffee available.

SERVICE RELATED: Not recommended!We all know Volvo is expensive, especially in service, but spending 1,200$ and having more problems than before is unacceptable.We bring our car for service cause the car indicates two error/warning messages.After first visit they made overall check in which they suggested optional additional work for 3k$ related to the rear part of the car.We didn't agree with it, so they did the standard 60kmiles check and gave us 600$ bill, after the service the car started to do noise to the front part when steering. So we called and need to bring car back for a second service. The guy who gave us back the car (Steve) said that probably could be because the car was lifted during first visit to have the overall check and he gave us a second 600$ bill even if probably problem was created by them.Anyway we paid and the guy told us the car was all set, but if any problem come out to call him back.Well, the day after when we restarted the car we saw the error message that was present till the beginning, we called to see if maybe they forgot to reset something, they told us to bring car back. During the third visit they said that maybe the error can be removed by additional 600$ of work but without certainty.Really disappointed by the service and the lack professionalism of the people at Volvo

I went to have my headlight bulbs chanced and the service advisor Larry Ditullio was very rude and acted as if I was less of a customer for what reason i don t know. He couldn t make eye contact or speak loud enough and acted offended when I asked him to repeat himself. Then when he was telling me the price of $128 he was saying it in a way as if I couldn t pay for it and then ended up only charging me $64 even though I was paying in full either way. They got the job done but with poor service.

These workers provide EXCELLENT customer service. Each time I take my car in for maintenance I am given an honest assessment and helpful advice. They even provided me transportation home despite living outside of their normal service zone. Just a great experience.

I recently bought a used Volvo from Ira Volvo on the South Shore and had a great experience. When I walked in I was concerned because I had a complicated set of circumstances around buying and registering the car because I am in the process of moving from California back to New England. I wasn't at all sure I'd be able to do it. Joe Smith was the sales representative who met me at the door and after patiently listening to what I was trying to accomplish (i.e. still living in CA, moving to Maine at a future date, looking at a car in Massachusetts) he said a few simple words ... "We will figure out how to make this happen." Or something close to that :) I had my doubts but I am really pleased to say that Joe and the team at Ira Volvo came through - just as promised. I felt well cared for and reassured that I was in good hands through-out the process of working through the details that made the sale complicated. I felt like I had a great advocate in Joe. Joe went beyond the call of duty to help me get the car registered in Maine while I am still in California. Amazing customer service! The used car I bought was perfect for my needs and when my only complaint (after test driving it and thoroughly looking it over) was that it was missing the retractable cover over the back cargo area. It wasn't really the end of the world but imagine my delight the day I went to sign the papers when Joe took me out for one more look at the car and there was a new cover installed in the back! One of the things I appreciated about Joe is that he didn't commit to do things he couldn't live up to. So whether it was the little or big things, I would say my expectations were exceeded across the board. I am grateful.

We bought an 2023 XC90 recharge from William and the entire experience was wonderful. He brought us through every inch of the car after the sale, was very low pressure and eager to provide information on every aspect of our new car ownership.
