Brought in both my cars for different issues and both times it was wonderful. Prices are reasonable, repairs done within same day, and Ray is super nice and upfront with you about everything. I 100% recommend this place to everyone.

Ray repaired my tire that I had picked up a screw in it. Walked to the post office to mail a letter, came back and it was ready. Amazing service and all with a smile.....tough to come by these days!!

Ray and his team are the gold standard for a mechanic. Every time I have an issue I bring my Ford F150 to Old Center Auto and he always does right by me, he even gives me his personal car to drive so I do not have to wait! Raymond was very helpful and honest! He found the problem with my car which was causing the engine light to stay on along with a ridiculously loud noise when starting up and driving the car. About 2 weeks ago, I started having issues with my SUV out of nowhere. I have a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse High Country. My AC wouldn t work and my dashboard had almost every light on imaginable. It didn t feel right while I was driving whatsoever. After doing my research, I gave Old Center Repair a call. I spoke with Ray and explained to him what was going on. I told him I did not feel comfortable driving it to the shop, and that I would have it towed whenever he could squeeze me in. Ray coordinated for one of his mechanics to come see it at my home this morning. When I was assured it was OK to drive, despite his lot being jam packed with other customer vehicles, he had me bring it in. By this evening, I got my car back! No lights are on, my AC works again, my fuel pumped needed to be replaced, and he had someone from Chevrolet reset the computer. I can t recommend Ray enough! Aside from everything being done so fast, he was SO nice and kept me in the loop throughout the day. Not to mention VERY fair pricing as well! I finally found a local mechanic that I trust. Raymond is the best! He takes his time, doesn t overcharge you and often won t charge at all for small issues that he fixes. There is a reason why so many people like him and trust him. If you are looking for a local mechanic, I suggest you start here.

I ve been going to Ray for three years now and will never see another mechanic as long as he s in business. He s honest, hard working, trustworthy, fairly priced, and you can always count on him to do the right thing. Everyone I ve referred him to has had nothing short of a great experience and has visited him since. Thank you for being an amazing mechanic Ray!!

My driver s seatbelt was broken and I couldn t find anyone to help me for a week! Raymond was able to see me within minutes and help find a safe but economical fix within just 2 days! This repair shop is great. The owner Raymond knows how to fix cars. He is honest and trustworthy. We live in New Hampshire and we came to North Reading for an appointment and our car died. We had our car towed to this shop. Raymond had it fixed within 2 Hours. We are headed back home to N.H. Thank you!!

Had an issue with installing my spark plugs at my house, they were able to come same day to my house and fix it with no issue. Made sure the car started with 0 issues and saved me from a potentially very expensive repair. Great customer service and skill.

Raymond is amazing. He repaired my sons truck and could have easily changed and fixed several things and charges an astronomical amount of money but took the time to find the issue to make sure it was the lease amount of money to fix it. Then he also repaired my parents ac today on this extremely hot day. He could have said no I m busy but he didn t he said sure bring it right down . Thank you Raymond forBeing to honest and fair. Great, awesome, fantastic experience w/this repair facility. I am not a local but was in their area working, somewhere along the way I picked up a large screw in a heavy duty truck tire. These guys had it fixed in less than 5 minutes and had me back on my way !!! Crazy part is that the owner wouldn't take any money and expressed to me that he was just HAPPY TO HELP. I wish I lived closer and could use these guys all the time !!!

Moving into a new area is always a major process and can be difficult. Among other things, a main challenges is building a book of service providers that you can trust. This is especially in the auto industry. It is in this regard that I hold Raymond and the team at Old Center Auto, in North Reading, in the highest regard. Raymond runs a business that consistently puts customer/client first, and I think it has been a key to his success. I have had many of interactions with Raymond over the last 7+ years. He is ALWAYS honest in his assessment and is not out to take advantage of the situation. It is as if he puts himself in the shoes of his customers. If there is a better option, he does what he can to pursue it. If he thinks there are more effective/efficient ways to get the job done, he will pursue them. Not only that, but he does top notch work. Highly recommend!!

I would 100 percent recommend this shop. Raymond has repaired my former Honda Element and bought me more time with her. Always a great experience with Raymond and his staff! I've been into the shop 2 occasions in the last year and from big job to smaller ones, Raymond is always fair on pricing and will completed repairs within a reasonable time frame. Raymond is always willing to explain the repairs costs/estimates and and will not oversell you on expensive parts. He's got a great reputation and we'll continue to bring our cars to Old Center for many years!

Old Center Auto Repair is the place to go if you want excellent service at very competitive prices. Ray is simply the best (and a great guy, too). Raymond is fair, honest and makes your car problems his top priority. As soon as you drive into Old Center Auto Repair he comes right over and assesses the problem. If he can fix it immediately, he will do it right then and there and you can be on your way. If it is a small problem and easily fixed he sometimes says no charge and you have to insist on paying him. There is no one else like him. So glad your business is in North Reading Raymond!

Ray is a class act. Professional, yet personable, takes pride in his work and gets the job done as promised in the time promised. Highly recommend. (Ray was able to work on my BMW - brakes, engine light due to some sensors, etc and he was able to reset the cars computer). Very happy.

stopped by Raymond's shop because there was a nail in our tire, slow leak. Raymond fixed it w/in 5min and I was on my way. This is the best car mechanic, I've been to in my life!! As a single woman being ripped off by car mechanics is always an issue but Raymond is absolutely NOT like that. He is extremely honest and fair. I had my ABS and traction control light on in my Jeep Patriot. He looked at the my car for a few hours, diagnosed it, cleaned off the ABS sensors and even fixed some of the wiring and did not charge me at all or even try to find other issues with my car. I even told him I wanted to pay him for his time and he refused to take my payment. I am so grateful that there are actually decent, kind human beings out there. I will definitely be back here and will probably never trust any other mechanic again after this amazing experience.

Raymond is a gem. He spent days searching for a replacement rear view mirror for me that saved me hundred of dollars. His responsiveness and customer service are unparalleled, and rare today. We love Old Center Auto!
