I would like to reach out and say a Big Thank You to this smaller Subaru dealership and especially to Michael Chase, in the service department.Last week I had a flat tire and I was on a 2 hrs commute to work. Michael was able to fit me in to get a replacement, tire.He was genuinely kind and caring, even though I was not a frequent customer.I was in and out and reached work with confident that my Forester was in good condition.Kudos to Mr. Chase in service.Best;Mr.Kim Goudreault

My husband and I have been going to Melkonian Subaru for years now. We just bought our 3rd Subaru from here, and we chose to do all our service with them as well. All the staff is very friendly - which is huge - both in the showroom and on the service team. I wanted a car that they did not have on the lot and they secured it and got it for me within a few days. I highly recommend this location even though it is smaller just based on the quality of the staff.

Small dealership that doesn't feel like a zoo/carnival like most bigger dealerships.Good, honest people. Gave us a great deal on a new Crosstrek and beat the competitor's trade-in offer on our old Impreza. They're also very willing to find exactly the car you want if it isn't on their lot (brought our car down from Maine).We'll shop here again.Thank you Brian (sales) and Paul (manager)!

This was my second time buying a Subaru here and it was just as easy and painless as I remembered. Julie Andrews was wonderful to work with and made sure the process went smoothly. I never felt pressured at any point and am very happy with my purchase.Dominic in Financing also went above and beyond to get me the factory 3.99% financing which I very much appreciate.I highly recommend this dealership.

My wife and I recently purchased our first car and we had a great experience! We read the reviews and decided to make an appointment at Subaru North Reading. The inventory of used cars is the best in the area, and we were able to find a car (2016 Crosstrek) with everything we wanted! Maria (our saleswoman) was incredibly patient with us throughout the day - since it was our first time buying a car, we had many questions, all of which were answered kindly. We never felt like we needed to buy a car that day or were pressured in any way, yet we also felt that Maria was entirely dedicated to us and finding us a car that suited our budget and wishlist. She did a fantastic job, and has reached out since our purchase just to check in on us!! When it was time to talk about finances, Steve was excellent. He has a remarkable ability to communicate every detail of the finance package clearly, and was fully engaged in explaining each option with us while also not pressuring us to spend more. Additionally, the interest rate he was able to get us was unbeatable, especially considering my wife and I are both graduate students who have good credit yet thousands in loans. Even so, we were able to get 3.84% which was remarkable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience purchasing our first car, and we will be taking our car there for servicing throughout because of the 5-star service we received from Maria, Steve, and the staff we met there!

This review is for their service department.I brought in my Subaru Forester for wheel bearing replacements, and was initially quoted for 1700 for 2. I thought this was a little steep, but decided to go with it. Then it turned out it was 3, and they quoted it at 2400. This was ridiculously high, so I decided to get my car back.Immediately, I was met with hostility, specifically by Sokhom. He was very pushy over the phone, trying to rationalize the price by claiming it was within market value (it's not) and under warranty if they fix it if something else happens to the wheel bearing replacement (who cares? It's a wheel bearing). After some going back and forth (it shouldn't have to be this difficult), he agreed on me coming back to pick up my car.In the meantime, I called around a couple of places and was quoted between $600-900 for all three wheel bearings.When I got to the shop, Sokhom continued to press me, trying to educate me about how it's a "difficult" and lengthy job (also not true) and many more pushy tactics that might've worked on someone else. I just smiled, took my keys, and left.What a joke of a place, trying to scam people for 200% more than the ACTUAL market value. For something that took an hour somewhere else. Yeah, so lengthy. Do better for your customers.

What a nightmare! We were one of only two parties in the whole dealership, and yet we spent more than 10 minutes waiting for our salesman to finish chatting with all the staff in the manager s office. After waiting, we were presented a horrendous deal for a Forrester that pales in comparison to other Subaru dealerships. After proving that we ve received better offers elsewhere, the salesman wanted to take our paper with proof of offers from another dealership but we definitely were not about to let that happen. Stay FAR away from this crooked place.

Maria is the best. She listened to my needs and steered my toward the right vehicle. Went above and beyond to make sure my experience was excellent! Mike and Andre were also very helpful and friendly. Making the process comfortable and shopper friendly. Love My Subaru!

We had a wonderful experience buying a new Subaru Crosstrek from North Reading Subaru. We couldn't ask for a better sales rep than Dave. He got us a great deal, didn't oversell for a second, and was very pleasant to work with. I had interactions with close to a dozen car dealers in the Greater Boston Area when we were shopping for our car, and I'd recommend North Reading Subaru over anywhere else in an instant.

I have worked with Dave Laurie twice now and am so impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and overall kindness. He is wonderful to work with and I trust him implicitly when looking at my leasing options and purchasing a new vehicle. It was great service and the sales team was very helpful and friendly, especially Julie Andrews. The whole process from coming down to test drive the new Subaru crosstrek to taking it home only in a few days. I am happy with the service provided by the North Reading dealership.

This was my first time leasing a car and Julie Andrews made the process so efficient and easy. Her knowledge about Subarus is extensive and made me feel comfortable in the car. I told her exactly what I wanted in a care, especially with the price and she delivered. I am new to the area and she reccomend so many new cool places in New England to take my new Impreza 2024. I highly recommend Julie Andrews to anyone looking for a Subaru! She's the best!

David Laurie and team helped us get a used 2017 Impreza after our previous one was totaled. The overall process was smooth, easy, and surprisingly stress free. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend if you are in the market for a new or used Subaru.

I highly recommend North Reading Subaru! It had been 16 years since my last car purchase and I was dreading the experience. I first dealt with Paul the manager who paired me with Julie Andrews as my salesperson . It was all very stress-free. Everyone was friendly & helpful & Julie went out of her way to make sure the car was ready for me the next day. It took less than 24 hours to complete the deal for a pre-owned Crosstrek! Definitely check them out!

I highly recommend North Reading Subaru. My wife and I purchased our first Subaru, the Crosstrek and had the most pleasant car buying experience. Paul made us feel comfortable from the start and Brian our salesman was the best. Our Subaru was in transit and Brian kept in touch all the way with updates right up until it arrived. Brian was very knowledgeable and explained everything about the car before we drove off. We are happy to be part of the North Reading Subaru family. Rich and Linda.

KINDEST, MOST HONEST DEALERSHIP! SMOOTHEST TRANSACTION EVER! NO PRESSURE! And they didn't mark up from the sticker price, as most / all other dealerships do these days. I brought them all breakfast yesterday morning because all other car purchasing experiences in my past history were so painful and dehumanizing at times. This dealership treats you with such respect.

We visited several other dealerships before coming here. I wish we d saved the time and come here first! Everyone was so nice and helpful, there was no slimy pressuring that we got at some other places. Julie Andrews was wonderful to work with and so helpful. I originally purchased my Crosstrek Premium from Isabel Nelson at North Reading Subaru in the Spring of 2019 and it was an overall terrific buying experience. Two years later and a very satisfied Subaru Crosstrk owner , I contacted Isabel explaining to her my situation and that I was in the market to lease my next Subaru. Isabel informed me that she was now working in the Finance department at Melkonian's but would refer me to a sales and leasing associate.Maria Swiacke in sale and leasing was outstanding , from the time we sat down to discuss what my goals and expectations were getting into a new lease. Maria's was professional , hard working and attentive to my needs. Choosing the Vehicle I wanted to lease, it took less than one hour for Maria and Mike ,the sales manager to put together a deal that fit my budget and personal needs. Outstanding, five star service. Mark in the Service Department and the younger mechanic who serviced my car today, December 30, deserve a bonus. I walked in this afternoon in a panic because my Subaru, which I need to drive back to DC, had a complete system failure. Mark was extremely patient with me and helped me get the claim number associated with the battery defect class action suit. Once Mark got that, he got my car set up with an excellent mechanic (I wish I got his name) who did the diagnostics and needed repairs in about an hour. My Subaru is working like a charm again. I cannot thank North Ready Subaru enough for getting my car ready to go again for my drive back to DC. Your team is the best.

Went for an oil change a few months back at North Reading Subaru and didn't discover that they over tightened my oil drain bolt until service yesterday. The oil drain bolt would not come off using a socket and ratchet by hand and it stripped. A bolt extractor and impact wrench was used to finally remove the oil drain bolt. You can also see in the photo that there were two crush washers used by their service department to seal the bolt. Unfortunately, this is not a mistake that you can check right after service, only during the next service.

I was looking for a used WRX and had such a great experience at North Reading Subaru that Sue, who was looking for a new car, decided to buy here too! She loves her Legacy!Maria answered all our questions with no pressure. Mike helped us work out a fair deal.
