Kings was excellent. My brakes started making a grinding noise so I made an appt for a couple days later in the week. Decided to bring it in that day for a test drive because I felt fearful of driving it for two more days. The owner didn t get out of the driveway before telling me I couldn t drive it. He said he would try to get parts and fix it that day. He sure delivered! I picked up my car 3 hours later, good as new. Kings was just super and I will continue to bring both our cars there for all service. Thank you!!

Had a puncture in my tire. I called the morning of to see if they could fit me in. They made it happen, repaired it for a fair price, and had me on my way quickly!

I have used King s for repairs and routine maintenance since moving to Reading just over a year. The owner and staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and honest. I highly recommend King s Auto Center!

Called to have a quote for mounting wheels, was told it would cost $150 and that it would be a week before he could get to it. Called Avery auto care next door was quoted $30 for the same installation.

Kings is great, been going to them for years and never had an issue whatsoever. They re fast and will always try to get you in asap. I even brought my car in once and thought it needed new brakes, but Robert called and said they were fine and didn t charge me. Other places may have just done the unnecessary repair without being honest about it.Services: Auto brake repair, Oil change

I had another great experience with King's last week. Robert and team gave our car a 100,000 mile checkup, oil change, and rear brake job.Robert kept me posted throughout the process and I was able to pick up our car right when he said it would be ready. I was in a real bind and needed service. Even though they were booked out I was able to leave my car. As luck would have it they were able to tend to my car the same day. Most other shops would not have been so understanding and accommodating. I have used Kings in the past as well and they are really top notch mechanics and a great place to support.Service: Electrical repair

Easy to schedule an appointment. Reasonable rates. Honest assessment of work that needed to be done now as well as potential future needs. Very professional, clean shop. I ll be back for sure when need be.

Recently moved to the area from Florida and was looking for a mechanic local to me to bring my truck in for a 100k service. Of course not knowing anything before, I went into using Kings blind and they certainly did not let me down. They did an excellent job servicing my vehicle and finding an issue that I wasn t aware of. They did not try to bargain me with repairs I didn t need, and the total charge was very reasonable. Our go to mechanic for the last 7 years. They know auto repair, excellent mechanics with a lot of knowledge and attention to important details. Fair prices (I always spend less over time doing all my auto repairs including buying tires, oil changes over chain shops or dealerships) and trustworthy. Recently I took my car to the dealership where I bought my car. I went in for an oil change. After that, I was told I needed new brakes very soon as they were now metal on metal. I thought that odd as I hadn t had any problems with my brakes.I then made my first appointment with King s Auto on Main Street in Reading. I dropped off my car and within a few hours, I received a call from Robert, the owner, stating that I wouldn t need brakes for another 10,000 miles. I was happily surprised and delighted that Robert was honest with me. Not only will I return to him when I need auto service but also many of my friends who were impressed with his honesty, are thinking of switching to King s!Service: Brakes

I am new to the area and spent quite some time looking for a new mechanic. I came upon King's Complete Auto Center and read nothing but great reviews. I decided to give them a shot and bring my car in for some much needed repairs. My brakes were metal on metal, my air conditioning stopped working, and I had concerns about my tires.Rob called shortly after I dropped my car off to let me know what needed to be fixed right away and within 6 hours King's had my car back to normal at a super reasonable price. Had a 100k mile service completed at Kings. They walk me through the process and ask if I wanted a timing belt replaced which should happen in 105,000 mi. They didn't push me, they gave me a quote for all services and we talked it through and decided to do it. I was very pleased that these guys and did a great job and completed it in the short amount of time I needed my car back. Kings is the best mechanic experience I ve had in the Greater Boston area. I had an old battery that was about to go and Kings caught it before it was too late. Robert and his team take care of my car every year when I m in MA. My daughter referred me there, and I have never been disappointed. They are courteous, professional, and prompt, always getting my car in and out in a reasonable time, and dealing with the rare emergency quickly. Been bringing my cars to kings for 15 years. Wouldn t take me car anywhere else and I live over 20 minutes from there now. Rob is very reasonably priced and doesn t try to sell you things you don t need. If you need anything mechanical done to your car I would highly recommend kings.Service: BrakesService: Brakes
