My car is older, so I am there quite frequently to maintain it to last as long as possible. The guys at Firestone are always very friendly and I have learned to trust them with my vehicle, my safety, and not to nickel and dime me. The shop hours and multi mechanic operation makes it easy to get job done fast so I m not without a vehicle very long. Thank you North Reading Firestone!

Was there about a year ago. Firstly didn't like the customer service if you can call it that. Also understaffed. Secondly, just found out they broke 3 of my studs on the rear tire. And tire quality itself is rather sub par at best. Not recommended.

We had a Tirerack order delivered here for install. We called to make an appointment and were told that they don't make appointments for Tirerack installs. That they don't like these installs because they aren't very profitable. We would have to leave the car for the day. Seemed too late to move the tires elsewhere so we showed up prepared to leave the car. We were then told that they do make appointments for Tirerack installs. We left the car.This work was completed by the store manager Adam Schlesinger(he told us he did the work). The tires were supposed to be set to 34psi. They were set to 40/37/40/40. I verified the TPMS pressures later in my garage(cold pressure) with an external air pressure gauge.The material all over the tires Adam told me was a lubricant. He did offer to clean it when I complained about it. I don't understand why he didn't take the 3 minutes to clean the excess lubricant to begin with or why he didn't set the tires to the correct pressure. I'm certain if it were his own car he would get this right.Wrong tire pressures can lead to uneven wear and even contribute to accidents. I am under the impression that Adam spent the absolute bare minimum time on this.I will never set foot in this store again. They just don't seem to care about the quality of their work or have an acceptable level of professionalism.Service: Tires

I have frequented this auto service center multiple times each week, interacting with Adam and other representatives at the front desk. I find their service to be fantastic. They are consistently punctual, always willing to assist even when it's not required, making it an overall excellent place for car maintenance.

From the first time I walked in and talked to Adam until the time I picked up my truck it was a pleasant experience. Adding a last minute change to my order didnt even effect anything they had me done and out the door well before I expected to be and they communicated everything to me.,

After other local Firestone dealers within a 10 mile radius, (with the same equipment) refused to service our Ford F350, shortbed, with full Firestone alignment warranty, etc....These guy said "No problem" and drove it in, then had us on our way in 30 minutes.********** ten star, fantastic service !Ignore the rest.Go here.All Firestone Dealers are NOT the same !!

They told me I needed new tires on an under one year old, same year lease. The rep stated that the dealer never puts new tires on leases. He also stated that the 10K miles I had driven, were about the lifespan of tires. I'm still amazed that he told me those things with a straight face.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM FIRESTONE NORTH READING!!! The price is fair, but they do not know what they are doing. I would give it 0 stars but not an option. I brought my wife s Honda in for an oil change and battery replacement. After a 90 minute wait, they came out and said that I would have to take it to the dealer to get the radio working. They came up with every excuse as to why they were not able to fix. All the tech had to do was to read the screen in the car as it clearly said to enter the code OR press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. I voted for right to repair twice and maybe I shouldn t have. If they are unable to complete the repair and read simple instructions, then maybe they should not be working on today s cars. Too bad as they used to be great but this is the last straw as last time they replaced the rear and not the front brakes as asked for. Clearly just a lazy bunch of techs.Yet again, my wife took her car in for new tires due to convenience and timing. Wish we followed my own advice. She went in for 2 front tires and the sales person sold her on all four even through the rear tires were fine and recently replaced. After spending almost 1K, she had to bring the car back as they did not do the alignment properly. Would give it less stars if possible.

Adam was phenomenal, took extremely good care of me. Wasn t pushy trying to do stuff you don t need, but also keeps a good eye out to recommend things you do need. Big fan of my experience there, everybody is super friendly, light hearted, funny, it was nice to just joke around with the crew in the office. Will definitely be back! Firestone, do what you can to keep Adam around, he s got you a future customer from here on out

I had an issue with my tires and it was close to when they were closing. I talked to Matt on the phone fully expecting to be told to come tomorrow. They refused to install front hub and bearings on my truck because I got the parts, I told him I wasn't asking them to warranty the parts. So I asked how much with your parts he said just over $1000. I asked how much was labor he said $400. so $600 for the pair. I researched before I bought highest I saw was $195. for the pair. When they get them it's from the same places I researched, it's amazing they grossly overcharge customers and I see why they don't put in parts I bought. I recommend that people stay away unless burning money is your thing.

My last time! So I was into the Firestone store this morning for an oil change. I've been coming for many years now with both a Buick and Volvo. It's always been straightforward sort of stuff, oil changes, tire replacement, alignment's. All stuff well within their wheelhouse of what I can trust them to do. Today was infuriating. I had an 8:00 AM appointment for a simple lube, oil and filter change. I brought the car in on time, they confirmed that I would be waiting, and that's what I did. WAIT! Over two hours for an oil change. They took the car in right away, but then it just sat. What really sent me over the edge though was that someone came in with an 8:30 AM appointment, was paid and gone by 9:30 AM while mine still sat. Waiting in a communal space wearing a mask is bad enough, add to that bad service from people that I no longer trust to know what they're doing, that put me over the edge. In the end, we settled up, I was polite and walked out the door and that will be the last time I walk through those doors.

Do not recommend going here! I asked for specific tires to be ordered and put onto my car. When I arrived to pick it up, the tires were not what I ordered. The kid working acted like he had no idea what happened even though I talked to him, in person, the day before. Tires were gross and not cleaned. They still had grease on them. Before going here I never had car issues. Now I have tire and alignment issues all the time. Regret going here everyday.

Fantastic and reliable service. I stopped by to have snow tires put on a new set of rims on my Mercedes-Benz E550. The work took longer than expected as they were backed up which wasn t a problem, it happens. However they said the service was on the house due to the wait time. The people here know customer service, highly recommend taking your vehicle here.

I called ahead and scheduled an appointment for 3pm to have my transmission fluid change and a new pan put in as well as balancing and aligning my wheels. Tom explained to me that it was a 3 hour job which is why the fluid and pan alone were going to cost $600 which I found to be a bit drastic but needed to get it done anyway. They close at 7 so I asked if they were sure they d be able to get it done in time because he made it sound like it was difficult to do and he assured me they would. I dropped the truck off at the correct time, and waited till about 5:45pm to call and get an update. Tom answered and proceeded to tell me they were just starting to work on my truck then. So now they were going to do this 3 hour job in a little over an hour. I got there a little before 7 to pick up my truck and it was still not quite done yet. So my truck sat there for 4 hours and they hadn t even finished the the transmission fluid. Not to mention they never balanced and aligned my wheels, and they never even mentioned it I just happen to notice on the receipt before I left that it wasn t on there. So I asked and the response was no we didn t have a chance to do it because you were in a rush. I was because they did not stick to the appointment time, and clearly the transmission fluid does not take three hours so there was more than enough time in the 4 hour window they had to complete everything. On top of that there was absolutely nothing done to compensate for the slack on their end. At the least call and notify me that it s going to take longer than expected, something. This is not the first time they have not stuck to an appointment time. They have one mechanic there I believe his name is Greg that is great, a pleasure to deal with. Other than that I would not recommend this place at all.

Not a great experience at all. 2 hours for an oil change with an appointment. The oil filter they had was defective and they didn't have a backup. Rather than let me know right away, they let me wait until I inquired why it was taking so long. So frustrating.

Said break pads are due changing, whereas two other auto repair experts said life was 3/4 left. Many other services were suggested which were redundant.

I went in to this location for tire balancing and alignment.Andrew, the service advisor, was very friendly and able to get me in quickly with very short notice. Nick, the tech that worked on my vehicle, was very thorough and knowledgeable. I watched him remount a tire a second time in order to rotate it on the wheel for optimal balance. Most techs would have placed a weight and called it good.I am very pleased with the service, communication, and willingness to go the extra mile at this location.

I ve been having a lot of issues with my car lately. Transmission, rattling, traction light coming on. I took it to get checked and it turns out I have two different size tires on my car. Not only that but they are tires that should be be on my car at all and I have only had them replaced at this Firestone location. So now I have to get all new tires again and hopefully serious damage hasn t been done to my car beyond that.

Brought the car for brake job and wheel balance. Next day I realized they didn't do the wheel balance and charged my credit card.I called to service advisor Adam acknowledged the mistake and was told to bring car back for wheel balance then refuse to do the service and claimed my tires are too dangerous tried to sell me 4 new tires. These guys are crooked.Notified Adam that under consumer protection law Chapter 93 A I take them to small claim court.

I had perhaps the most pleasant and professional experience in maintaining my Dodge Ram Cargo Van that I have ever had, and I'm over 70! Your store manager (C.J. in the North Reading, MASS station) suggested a 'Destination' tire but when I test drove it, it was still too loud, so he immediately swapped the tires with a quieter variety, which was a perfect solution. The entire team in North Reading is very pleasant and professional. I will be sure to go back again. I feel I got good value and excellent service.

I had my new tires dropped shipped to this location,. The installation cost and wheel alignment were exactly as quoted by the manager when I made my appointment. Friendly staff, quick service. I have had multiple vehicles serviced at this location since it first opened, that says it all.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Showed up to drop off my car and they never made an appointment when I called the first time. Set me up for an appointment the following weekend for tires and they said everything was ordered. Dropped the car off Friday night get a call this morning that only an oil change was done they never ordered the tires and I could bring it by next weekend. This is completely unacceptable. No more wasting my time! I m heading to town fair tire. This is the worst establishment and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE.

Cannot recommend for higher end cars needing mounting of low profile tires. Despite having an appointment, I was told that I would have to wait two hours before work would even start. And then was told I had to supply 4 lift discs to make it possible to use their lift instead of simply a jack. They seem to have a lot of requirements of the customer, not so much of themselves. I drove an hour there and back, with an appointment. Never again.
