The experience I had to today at Midas in Raynham was on par with my previous visits. Jim and Carlton are always very positive and helpful. I always feel that they are there to help and not to sell my something I don t need. They are concerned with my time and do a great job communicating my wait time. I would strongly recommend that location to a friend or family member.

I ve been customer of this location for almost 20 years. The customer service from Paul, Carlton and Jim is top notch. They re always accommodating to my scheduling needs and do a great job explaining any necessary repairs or recommendations for my vehicle. Any time I ve been asked by a friend or family member for a trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic I always recommend this store.

This is by far one of the most accommodating and friendly business I ve encountered.Got my sticker, fixed two deficiencies and all in under a half hour.They provided immediate service and even recommended steps to expedite the process. This is now my go to service location for my vehicle. Highly recommend!

Omg Jim and his team were so nice. I had hardly any oil even though I should still have another 2000 to go on my next oil change. They took me right away. Checked everything out and top my oil off. They made a suggestion I have my mechanic check it out.No charge for the oil.I can say WOW that's how to treat a customer. I will be back.Thank you Midas Raynham team!Sheryl

I started to come to Midas in Raynham a few years ago. Hated going to the dealerships to get an oil change. The guys at Midas were great to work with. I can usually get an appointment for service within a day or 2. As a woman, they don't talk down to me and I feel I get fair pricing.Highly recommend!!

Over the years I ve had tires, brakes pads, and battery replaced here and service is always timely and friendly. They do all my inspections and oil changes too. Paul s the best!

I ve been going to Midas for years and they have always been great , the people here get the work done but they aren t honest about the work or the price of the work . Other Midas I ve been too were so honest just be careful who you trust to work on your car !

Used Midas services again for an oil change. Carlton is very helpful and friendly with great customer service skills. I m glad I returned back for more service, oil change was done in a reasonable amount of time, Carlton went into detail about the needs for my car. Carlton told me he was going to replace my engine. I thought he was a mechanic. He took my car August 2nd 2023. He gave me an unwritten estimate of $2500-3000. I told him I didn t want to put that much money into my 10 year old VW Jetta, he said ok, and had the car towed to Midas, so I assumed, knowing I said I didn t want to spend $3000, he could do it for cheaper in my price range of $1500. I had given him the information for the motor I wanted which was $650. Roughly 3-4 weeks later he called and said he was done, and the price was $2600. It was at this time I had found out he was a manager and not a mechanic and I restated I didn t have that much money. He told me I could come to Midas, and look over the paperwork and test drive the car as he stated he only took it up the street . I told him I wanted to take it on the highway and test drive it. I took an Uber to Midas, and walked in, and he handed me the key, he didn t show us any paperwork nor did we talk about money. I took the car to New Bedford and found out he didn t test drive it because my front drivers side tire was in bad shape.(the belt was showing on the inner part of the tire, but he failed to mention that before I got on the highway) I immediately had to get a new one put on, and asked him if he could bring us the receipt for the motor and paperwork for water pump, timing belt, and whatever else he claimed to do. I never agreed to more than $1500. I feel from the beginning he should have told me he could not do it for my price range. I spent the next 4-5 weeks asking him to bring me paperwork and he told me he would not until I paid him. I don t know if he even put the engine I asked him to put in, or changed the engine at all! I have no idea what else he allegedly changed. Today, December 30,2023 my engine is low on oil and antifreeze, he will not return a call or text. I have proof of everything that was discussed in the month of August (and beyond asking him for paperwork so I could pay him what I told him I could afford) in text messages. I m truly curious if he ever did the work he claimed as after 3-4 weeks of asking for paperwork, so I could pay him, he never bothered, except he showed up at my house at 10 pm one night, I wasn t home but saw on my cameras that he sat there for close to 20 minutes across the street. My only mistake was trusting Carlton to be professional. I now question the reliability and professionalism of Midas in Raynham as a whole. I wanted to share my experience about this particular person so he doesn t blindside anyone else. Very unprofessional to try to take advantage of a 53 year old woman and her daughter. All that being said, he was doing this to help out working after hours!!

We use this Midas location often and they always have friendly and honest service. Today they were able to replace two tired with nails in them faster than their quoted time even with our service being a walk-in. The customer service is awesome!!! Kudos to Carlton and the gang. There has never been a time when I or my husband have been dissatisfied or disappointed with these guys. Service has always been top notch. We are from the South where everyone is cordial, warm and welcoming, I fortunately not so everywhere else. These guys including the techs are so great! Not often you find that neighborhood mechanic shop where you feel welcomed, appreciate and important. This is what we find here and you know the best thing about it? You can definitely trust them. I ve been bringing my cars to Midas in Raynham for years and have always had a positive experience. I know enough about cars to know they have been honest with me. They recommend services your car needs and will likely need down the road - safety is first and they explain why they recommend a service. Update Midas in Raynham continues its great service. Came here for an oil change, and they not only did the oil change, but they took off the rust on my breaks for free, and even offered to change my engine filter even though we didnt have an appointment for it but they squeezed it in! On top of amazing service, theyre very friendly and professional- make good conversation and take the time to get to know their customers & your car. It was my first experience with midas and it will surely not be my last if i could give 6 stars i would!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I went to Midas because one of my low beam lights was out. I bought two as the other was likely to not be too far behind. The guy quoted me about $83. Then he came back snd said it would be more. Can t remember that reason? When he went to install the bulbs he, again, made an error and the price went up again. I ended up paying $113.00 for what started at about $83!! I could have just left but wanted to just get it over with. I will not go back as all the apologies in the world can not make up for huge difference in what should be a concrete quote. He was nice but offered no compensation for all of his errors. Too bad as the location is convenient but I will not be going back.

If I could, I would give Jim 10 stars .. Jim was a very huge help! He went over everything with me prior to them doing the service and then after! Made sure I understood what was going on. I always have a good experience here but a nice and welcome surprise was when I got the full point inspection texted to my phone with pictures and technician comments before they even brought my truck out of the bay. Firstly, the rep I was on the phone with DID NOT give me the full price or breakdown of the costs at all. They told me I would pay for two things and then kept adding things onto it. I am paying nearly a grand when the original discussed price was several hundred less. My car is fixed, but now I am unable to pay my bills and feed myself for the next two weeks. Had my heat shield come loose. They did the best they could to get it secured and good to go again. Didn't charged me anything for it. Customer service was excellent.
